Mark is amazing. He replaced our electrical panel, riser pipe, grounding system in one day. He completed the work and we had our power back on before 5 pm. After his finished the work, he explained the work and systems that he installed and answered all my questions.

Their quote was $3800 more than the company that did the repairs after Hurricane Beryl, very disappointing to be price gouged and uphold after a natural disaster. All I needed was the weatherhead re-attached to the house, no wiring damage, and he tried to sell me a surge protector, I just wanted it repaired before CenterPoint turned the power back on.

I was told that someone was going to come out to my property to give a free estimate on how much it would cost to install a floodlight on top of my garage as well as a security door bell. No one ever came and I waited the whole day for them. It also seems like my number is blocked as i tried calling them multiple times but the call could not be completed. Unprofessional service.

Universal came out and got my tankless water heater to start working after it had stopped. cleaned and flushed the unit. gave me appropriate information about cost before doing the work, answered my questions as to the reason for the cost first approach. He was very patient and waited for me to understand everything. He did a fantastic job and also got a Tosca Brand repair started for me that 2 other plumbers had decided not to take care of for me because they would need a part. This company will do well to keep this young man, Vincente, on their team. Because of his good work, I went ahead and got their monthly service agreement for priority service. Thank goodness. Houston, we have no problem with Universal Home Experts.

Richard was very professional - ensuring he conducted all appropriate diagnostics to correctly mitigate our electrical issues. Once he identified the issue, he meticulously explained what occurred and made any necessary repairs. He was transparent with the costs of repair, and even offered us a membership to apply an additional 15% discount. Very satisfied with his service.

Vicente & his team did a phenomenal job with our new tub install. The previous unit was old, from 1974, with corroded pipe so it was time. They did offer us several options for repair, but glad we chose this.

This review comes as an after thought about the experience and series of circumstances that lead me to feel disappointed and distrustful of Universal Home Experts.

I called Universal Home Experts as my surge protector was burnt out and my AC unit was dead. After a test was done, the technician stated that I had underground wire issues. The project was bid over $8,000. I was advised that major appliances life span would be reduced, show damage, or 'die' due to the underground wire issue. It was nerve-wrecking to hear long-term effects of not being able to 'take care of the electrical' might lead to more expenditures. So, I decided to move on it.

After the crew completed, there were materials left over the span of my yard. I picked up what I found and piled it up. There was a box attached to the wall previously - it was left hanging and detached from the exterior wall. I found this to be an aspect of unprofessionalism.

When the project was signed off and considered complete, I was told I would not have any more issues with flickering lights. The day following I noticed the lights in my home continue to flicker. There was on-going back and forth between myself and Universal Home Experts to support in 'fixing' items that 'should' have been fixed (after paying the lump sum that I did). After a few weeks of going back and forth, I was told I would need a Circuit Restoration and it would run somewhere along $11,900 for a total 9 circuit breakers in my panel. After hearing that, I decided to contact another electrician that was referred to me.

I am glad I did. What I discovered was not something that would fix my issues but certainly put to rest the feeling of being wronged. What the electrician found was the cable from the breaker to the main did NOT match the amps installed in the breaker box. How does a technician that sold me the project return with a cable that does NOT match the main breaker sold? How does this get overlooked the entire length of the project? Is it oversight - a simple mistake? Had this not been caught, it would cost ME 'thousands' more to fix later. In the end, there were discussions of making this experience 'right' and while there has been efforts to make it right, I don't feel resolved.

Overall, what I learned is to never take one bid. If you think you're spending too much money, you probably are.

After submitted complaints on BBB, the Ashlea from the company provided us the estimate visit as I requested. The technician was very informative, knowledgeable, and transparent.

Universal Home Experts have serviced our home form 25 years. The home is in wonderful condition and we are ready to sell the home. He identified recommended upgrades with informative cost estimates.in addtion he was very helpful in answering some ongoing questions and concerns about our electrical system. Joseph from Universal Home Experts came yesterday to do a check of my heater as part of my service plan. I had neglected to schedule a check of my A/C, but he readily offered to check my A/C, too. I had a question about what to do to avoid a blockage of the A/C drain system, and Joseph recommended using white vinegar and showed me how to add it to the drain system and how often to do so. He proceeded to check out the heater and A/C, and recommended a couple of services that would improve the A/C. I will likely have those services done in the Spring when they return to check my A/C for next Summer, so I ended up paying nothing! Knowing that my A/C and heater are working properly gives great peace of mind!

We had our fall HVAC inspection today with Joesph. We were very pleased with his professionalism. He was very personable and explained everything about our system.

After having my AC fixed by Universal Home Experts , had to have additional work to have a drain unclogged. Issue didn’t take the tech Marco long to resolve. Thank you Marco for
