We have used John Moore Services for over 10 years and have always been very pleased with their professionalism, service attitude and capabilities. We have an annual service agreement with the company.

Most recently, Jose Jaramillo did a great job in attending to our concerns regarding a possible rodent intrusion. We live in the "Livable Forest" and one of the realities is that animals often seek out someplace warm when it is cold and also when they are nesting. Jose was very responsive and took care of our concerns. We cannot recommend the company and Jose more strongly to anyone needing the services offered by John Moore.

I had a great experience with John Moore. I called about my heater not working, and Cannon came out the same day to diagnose the issue. He was professional, quick, and walked me through several options. The best part was the zero-pressure approach; he gave me space to think it over before deciding. We scheduled the work for the next day, and I’m very pleased with the result. Highly recommend Cannon and the team!

Lights had been flickering. Great service (showed up early) and was very thorough in explaining everything @no charge (as seen on tv). Recommended that we contact our energy provider to check out the line from the power box to the house. Ended up being a loose wire at the box. Provider showed up and fixed it at no charge. We will definitely call JM next time we have ANY issues.

I found the entire process of getting emergency plumbing assistance very positive with John Moore Services. From the AI agent that took my call at 9:30 pm and effectively scheduled my appointment all the way to fixing my cracked pipe by 5:00 pm the following day. The communication was very good on when people would arrive at my home. Jeff Dalton did a great job fixing the break and improving the system so that the break does not happen again. He communicated very well checking with my alignment on what could be done at multiple steps in the process. I would highly recommend this team to anyone needing some plumbing help.

First time using John Moore and I have to say I was very pleased with everything. The technician, Jamil, was top notch. He not only explained things but showed video as well to help me better understand. His personality was a bonus. Great job!

I really wanted to use John Moore because I love their commercials. I had a very simple exterior pipe leak that I even had dug up. The quote was $899.00 and the plumber, who was very nice, said it was about a 45 minute job with $40 in parts??? I called a local outfit and had it fixed for $300.00. Below is the picture of the repair. They also quoted $4,400 to "really do it right". Never again.

Victors quick response time and no BS approach was very appreciated. He explained everything in great detail with professionalism. He works clean and doesn’t tip toe around costs. We will be saving John Moore as our go to contact for any future plumbing needs.

Jose was absolutely amazing!! The exclusion process was smooth and easy starting with setting traps and sealing all entry points. He even came back out in short notice to collect any traps. I am highly satisfied with his service and impeccable communication. Always on time and professional. I would highly recommend!!

Justin was awesome! He was honest about the true pricing of the service. The person setting up appointments said the water heater flush was free to VIP members. But the tech gently let me know that the discount was really only $100 off of a $650 service per heater. (We have 2). He was personable and professional about it

Unfortunately, I hired John Moore to get me a permit for my portable generator. They were very prompt and getting the gas line installed. They provided me with a permit, which is what I hired them for unfortunately, when I went to go upgrade my meter through centerpoint they had no permit on file. Kahlil was amazing. Unfortunately, the people in the office kept trying to tell me that my permit was valid when I provided proof from the city and from the Inspector stating exactly what was wrong and why my permit was not valid. The original work was all done on October 28. It is now February 12 and I still do not have a proper permit. I called and spoke to six different people provided the documentation and they always said that they would get back to me, but I was the one that had to follow up with them. Each time a had to start with a new person and explain the permit situation. What I find most frustrating is that they have all these ads online about how they are a family run business and Don Valentine is there to help you. They would not allow me to talk to Don. I couldn’t even get a proper supervisor to follow up with me. Finally, Khalil came out yesterday redid a few things and I’m hoping we will pass inspection with this next permit.
Update-i’m still waiting for my permit somebody came out on February 11 apparently redid something and I was supposed to have an inspector come and I still haven’t heard anything. I have talked to so many people at John Moore and I’m not sure why I keep on being blown off. Ironically, they keep on Sending me text and emails asking me to pay the second half of what I owe them. I still don’t have my permit. It’s now February 20 that is almost 4 months.

The service guy for John Moore, was professional, punctual and knowledgeable. In comparison to other companies their prices are a little higher. Yet, the quality of work is the overall goal of excellence. The technician Henry gave us his honey opinion about the needs our home requires.

Brad was great. He arrived on time (8am-12pm) and was courteous, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Brad explained what I needed done and gave me 3 options for the work involved to make the repairs. He did not rush me to make a decision. I thought the quote was very high but I used John Moore because of the excellent jobs they had done on my home previously.

So DISAPPOINTED!
We saw a ceiling stain that appeared to be from a water leak from our upstairs master bath. We called John Moore plumbing to see if they could detect if there was an active leak that needed repair. The first plumber (there were multiple) came out and said that the only way he could do a true inspection was to cut the ceiling and make sure that the pipe above it was not still leaking. It made sense. He recommended a contractor to come out and cut the ceiling drywall and install a dryer to dry out the ceiling joist and the wood. After this, it took three separate plumbers to come out and do the inspection to see if the pipe in the ceiling was leaking from the shower or not. Thankfully, it was not. It appears that the shower drain was clogged and had overrun creating a small leak in the bathroom tile transition which resulted in the damp ceiling below. However, after the plumber inspected the pipe, we called the contractor to come fix our ceiling and replace the drywall. To our utter surprise we were told that they don’t do that! They told us to read the fine print in the contract, which says that they don’t do these repairs. Why in the world would someone cut open your ceiling and not expect to repair it?!! Why didn’t they say that BEFORE THEY CUT OPEN OUR CEILING?!! This was the service that was recommended by John Moore! When we contacted John Moore, they said it was not up to them to do anything. It was on the contractor that opened up the drywall. After $1900 we still have a hole in our ceiling and there was really no leak. The plumber said to use Drano once a month to keep the shower clear. Well thanks for that $1900 professional advice! I have never been so frustrated and disappointed, almost $2000 spent and a hole in our ceiling that still needs to be repaired, resulting in more money coming out of our pocket. And no one wants to take responsibility for this. Disappointing!! Since John Moore recommended this contractor they should stand behind the full repair or make the contractor come and repair our ceiling. Please beware and don’t get taken advantage of like we have.

Outstanding plumbing service! David Lawrence handled everything with skill, speed, and a smile.

Brad Skotak came in, assessed the problem, and provided a clear estimate, but it was David who truly delivered. He quickly and efficiently fixed my leaking shower and expertly replaced the tub and shower valve.

Both were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the process, but David handled every detail with care and always with a friendly, positive attitude. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work.

Thomas arrived timely as promised. He was honest and professional about giving an evaluation of the plumbing issue. He also introduced to me a home inspection service for plumbing, electrical and HVAC for very reasonable monthly rates.
As promised, this company gave me a free estimate and no pressure sales talk.

We needed significant electrical updating in our home, so we requested bids from several companies. We ultimately chose Universal Home Experts, and we're so glad we did. Our electrician, Willy, was incredibly professional yet friendly; He patiently answered all of our questions as the work progressed. Willy and his helpers performed the work very efficiently, and as a bonus, they consistently cleaned the worksite at the end of each day, which we greatly appreciated.

Universal also effectively handled all permitting and coordination with the city for inspections. Willy even came on the day of the initial inspection and clearly explained the work to the inspector. When the inspector had a couple of minor questions, Willy addressed them immediately. The final result was a successful inspection, and our home's electrical system was good to go!

Working with Universal Home Experts was easy. We were able to set up appointments quickly and scheduled the work within a couple of days. I wish all contractors were this pleasant to deal with. Our overall experience with Universal was very positive, and we highly recommend their electrical services.
