The technician was very respectful and seemed to know about dryers. However after incorrectly diagnosing the problem and saying there was a blockage in the dryer ventilation system he couldn't go up in the attic and check because they don't do that. I ended up having to replace the dryer and still pay the 144 fee becuase they didnt work on the dryer. Very frustrating.

Melvin was awesome and made sure everything was fixed before he left!

Billing process is transparent, efficient and uses encrypted text message with your digital signature for secure transaction. Mr. Appliance has my highest endorsement. Use them without any concerns.

Dryer repairs:
The technician did not diagnose the problem and assumed which part needed replaced. Then quoted a repair cost of over $700 for a $200 part and a 15 minute job. I would not recommend this company to anybody

Not only did Mr. Daniel fix the problem with our refrigerator, but he also taught us some routine maintenance techniques that will add life to the years of our refrigerator. My husband is happy to- do I am, too.

I called this service for the first time because of an issue with my dryer. Alex arrived promptly right on scheduled time of appointment. It was an issue that needed no technical skill as he took the time to make this a basic tutorial on a filter issue. A small piece of plastic had dropped into the filter trap. He simply showed me how to handle this with no charge. I will definitely use these guys in the future and recommend this service.

Third time is the charm, hopefully. Mr Appliance is here for the third time. I can see twice, but when I asked them to bring the part before they came the second time and they said ok, it was frustrating when they didn’t. I’m still waiting to see if I get credit for the first attempt as stated.

This place is a scam. Reached out to them due to high ratings. Had them to check on my dishwasher, the technician came and diagnosed the water intake valve needs to be replaced. Gave a repair quote of $600 before tax.

Considering a new dishwasher with installation cost $549, I told him the quote was too high. He reworked the quote and right on the spot came up with $350!

I paid $125 fee and declined any other services. Beware of this scamming company! Note all 5 star reviews are from accounts with 1-3 reviews that must've been written by AI or the shop employees themselves.

My initial call was for a gas smell coming from my Whirlpool dryer. I was very pleased with the work and explanation of what issues my dryer was having from Darrick. He is very knowledgeable as well as skilled(I’d had 2 other companies to come out before Mr. Appliance). After the repair, he suggested I contact CenterPoint to see if there was leakage in the gas line to my dryer since the smell was still present and there was, and it was repaired. I have to purchase another dryer,( it’s a Whirlpool 😩, I’ve had internal issues with 2 other Whirlpool appliances),but I’d still recommend Mr. Appliance because I was given information that was relevant to what was actually going on with my dryer .
