Steve and his team responded to repair the AC unit at one of the widows I serve at my church. They were patient, kind & thorough with her and very fair with the final cost of her repairs. If you want to get your AC repaired with integrity, look no further.

We experienced AC trouble on Sunday early evening. Steve was at our house at 10pm to see what was going on. Upon inspection, he determined our outside unit needed replaced. Stated they could be back by 8am the next day (Monday). His team arrived at 8am and had everything installed in 2.5 hours. Great service and I highly recommend.

Steve was very awesome! I called around on a Sunday morning at 6am. Air Max could not come out until 4pm-6pm. Steven actually saw he had a missed call and called me. About 15 mins after the call he was here it also took about 15 mins to fix the fuse. It was $100. which is very reasonable, air max wanted 200 just to come out. Thank you Spears my husband got much needed rest because of you!

Awesome experience! I screwed something up while installing a digital thermostat which left me without AC in the middle of the night. I called Spears and he attempted to coach me through the problem over the phone. After no success, he came out to my house and resolved the problem within minutes. He was extremely responsive and helpful.

Nothing but the best service from Spears AC, always on time and always comes to the rescue whenever my A/C needs a recharge ! I called him when my ac wasn’t Turing on and he showed up in less than an hour from picking up my phone!

Steve is the best AC guy I have seen in 25 years since I moved to League City, Texas. He is very skill in finding the AC issues and will tell you what it will cost to fix it. He also let me had an option to buy parts and let me to fix it and he would just charge the trip he made to figure out the problem, but I let him to fix it for me because his charge was very reasonable. I had many AC guys since I moved to Texas but Steve is the best.

Steve and his team did a great job replacing my AC system and were so fairly priced. My home warranty company sent a different AC vendor out when it started getting hot inside my home and the AC was failing. The other company had a bunch of charges that increased the amount that both myself and my home warranty would have to pay and I felt like they were inflating their prices bc a home warranty company was involved. Steve has replaced an AC system in another house I owned and I really liked him and his work so I had him come out and look at this issue. As in the past, Steve was honest and straightforward about the work that had to be done. I trust him and his crew. That’s important to me. His crew, headed up by Edwin, worked hard from early in the morning till late afternoon and left with my house cool and comfortable. Ahhhh nice! Thank you Spears AC and Heating for a doing a great job!!

Spears AC comes out quickly and is very fairly priced. Steve is personable, experienced and extremely knowledgeable. I will go to Soears with all my AC/heating needs.

We’ve been using Spears A/C for 5 years now and they are the BEST in the area! They are always so incredibly responsive! They even have active texting! They’ve always been honest and straight with us and they have super good pricing compared to the chains like Weeks. They are so much more personable and great to work with! Not typically one to write reviews, but after my experience with Spears, I highly recommend calling them. Steve (owner) was outstanding! He answered my early morning call and arrived shortly after to assess the issue with our AC. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and advised me of what needed to be done. He got it working the same day with a bypass to get us by for the night. He snagged the necessary part the next morning and fixed our issue entirely. All for an extremely reasonable price. I don't know how he does what he does, as he seems to run all or most service calls himself. Super impressed and certainly highly recommend!

Spears AC & Heating should be the FIRST one you reach out to for your HVAC needs. Do your due diligence, but I am fairly certain you will end up with this company. Steve is punctual, hardworking, meticulous, and a straight shooter. Moises came out today and did an awesome job on diagnosing and replacing a seized blower motor. Time is money and these guys won't waste yours.

I got bids from several different contractors on a top of the line 26 SEER complete system with zoning. I was very pleased with the value that we received purchasing the system. Steve kept me well informed while he tracked down the additional zoning equipment. The installation went smoothly when we planned. Roughly six months after we purchased and in the middle of our 100+ degree summers we noticed around 8 or 9 in the evening that the system was not cooling and had a fault code. Steve worked with us that evening diagnosing the fault code until roughly midnight. He then came out promptly the next morning to diagnose on site. Turns out we had a blown transformer on the outdoor unit. We both were concerned about what other electrical components may have been damaged. We did not want to wait to get parts and find out it would still not work especially with this heat. Steve took the bull by the horns and jumped through a significant number of manufacturer road blocks to get us a brand new outdoor unit. It was replaced like he said the following evening in the rain and lighting. His crew finished at 10:30 PM and much to our relief the house was finally cooling down again. Steve offers a very fair price at the front end with unequalled service on the back end. When we replace the upstairs unit, Steve will be our only call.

They came out today for a furnace checkup and as always, great service. Very professional, explained everything, and showed me the video so I could understand the problem. Spears has been my go to for HVAC for over a decade now, and I recommend them for your HVAC needs.

Found these guys on Google. It’s Sunday at 6:30 in the evening and my ac wasn’t blowing cold. They were here within 20 minutes and fixed my problem within another 20 minutes. Really grateful they were able to come out that quick. I would highly recommend.

Honest, dependable, and friendly - Steve takes the time to thoroughly figure out what the issue is and explains it to you in plain English. He then goes through all the options and recommends what you need without trying to upsell.

My latest experience with Spears AC was when my evaporator coil went on the fritz on a Friday night. I contacted Spears that evening and Steve personally came out the next day (Saturday) to diagnose. Once he isolated the issue to the coil, he put in the call for a replacement first thing on Monday. The coil arrived at their office Monday night and then on Tuesday his team came out and replaced it. Top notch service.

I seldom write a review because I am seldom pleased with the services I receive. That is not the case with Spears. About a month ago, my central air was. It cooling. I called Spears and Steve (the owner) answered. Within the hour, he was at my home. He diagnosed the problem as a Freon leak. He fully charged the unit so that I would be able to cool my home until a new coil could be installed. That was done two days later. Just last yesterday, my wife and I came home from a day in Galveston to find the outside unit not running. I texted Steve at around 11:30 hoping to get on his schedule for the following day. Steve responded within minutes and 20 minutes later he was at my home. An hour later, he had made the repair and at no charge. He said it was part of his customer satisfaction policy.
