I received service from Southern Comfort the same day I called. One of my air conditioners wasn’t cooling and turned out workers at my house had flipped the breaker switch off and forgot to turn it back on. Josh went ahead and checked my unit out to make sure everything was ok. The service fee was very reasonable with my comfort service plan.

I expected a quick tune-up. Our tech Nathan showed up like the AC owed them money. Checked everything, took pictures of everything, and explained everything, and left the unit running like it just got promoted. Absolute overachievement with great customer service.

Nathan is a very organized ac/heat technician. He effectively uses his tablet to take pictures that help you understand the nature of the problem on the unit he is checking to fix. He also reviewed a the condition of the unit after quickly discovering why our heater wasn't working. It was a disconnected switch.
I was very satisfied with his assessment of future possible challenges.

Josh was on time to do the service check for my two AC units. He did a thorough inspection of the unit and even hosed the coils to ensure smooth operation. I requested an estimate to replace all my deteriorating ductwork. It wasn’t easy climbing around in my attic, but he took his time and answered all my questions. Thanks

I moved into a house and there was a sticker on my unit for Southern comfort showing they had inspected my unit before so I figured I would give them a shot. I paid for the summer and winter service so 2 inspections throughout the year. The summer inspection came and the guy came in a did his visit while only my wife was home. He told her after the inspection that we needed $3000 in work done but no explanation. I was then sent an email with 10 random pictures of my unit and other numbers but no explanation at all. I called a week later and was told that they fired the tech that did my inspection and they would send me updated info. I had to call back a month later to get the actual information from my inspection. The winter inspection came around and I scheduled the tech. They canceled without telling me so I call to reschedule and they just told me they were busy that day and had to reschedule me but never actually let me know. Once I did finally get a tech over here he was here maybe 5 minutes and left without giving me any information accepted he was done. I received a call 3 months later asking if I wanted to sign up for their services again and I told her no with the reasons I listed above. The girl told me they had also fired the second tech that did my inspection. If you are looking for someone to service or AC or Heating unit I would suggest going with someone else who hires people they can stand behind and will actually do a good job.

Southern Comfort was excellent! Were with another company that just inspected and never really addressed issues. Nathan was courteous and very communicative. Knew exactly when he was arriving - helped plan our day. Cost was reasonable considering former HVAC just let things go.

Wonderful experience with Brian. My tankless water heater stopped working He kept me informed of his ETA. He arrived on time. He answered all my questions and quickly diagnosed the problem.

Repairing the water heater involved taking it apart which would have cost as much as replacement. He gave me an estimate for the repair and I will get other estimates.

But based on my experience I’ll have Southern Comfort do the job if the plumber doesn’t do the repair under warranty.

Josh was very helpful and kindly answered all my questions. He diagnosed the freon leak and laid out the repair option clearly. I loved that he wasn't pushy and respected my DIY abilities. He was very helpful and personable. When He left I felt like I had made a friend. That's what's it's all about in the service industry. Thank's again Josh for answering all my questions!

Southern Comfort Mechanical installed my old heating/air conditioning unit 18 years ago, which finally gave out. They came today and installed another unit - the installers were friendly and very courteous and did not waste any time - they worked straight through until it was done. Tony, the salesperson, was great - he kept checking in and then came back to take photos and check to make sure the installation was done well. I highly recommend this company for any of your heating/air conditioning needs. They are professional at every stage of the process and the price was also very fair.

Souther Comfort is absolutely the most responsive service provider for a major home system that we’ve ever used. Their guys — especially Josh — Have always been capable and accommodating. Great service from AP he changed put my old unit and installed a brand new one and now my house is cooling like it was never before definitely will recommend.

I had an old AC system replaced by Northside, furnace, coil and condenser, who did outstanding work. Not only were they incredibly thorough and professional from the very first assessment with Chuck, which included a proper heat load calculation, but they made improvement suggestions, planned to reorient my equipment in the attic and were extremely competitive on price. The installation crew was friendly, professional, communicative and blew me away with their creative install that passed inspection 2 days later. I took bids from 4 local companies, 2 took no heat loads so were disqualified immediately and the other sized properly but wasn't competitive on price. I won't hesitate to use or recommend Northside in the future. This is my AC company! 5 stars!
