Vanguard's Gabriel was an awesome HVAC professional. He was knowledgeable and properly diagnosed and fixed my parents' home AC (freezing in the air handler due to lack of freon) and also my own home's AC (I had trouble restarting my air handler after I replaced the blower motor). I was out of town and my a/c went out. I called them to come fix. Gabriel came out on Labor Day and was able to fix the problem quick. He diagnosed the problem, showed me the problem and fixed it. Very courteous, professional and friendly. Highly recommend his services.

After deciding to buy my first home, the inspector discovered that the previous owner had installed the wrong HVAC system, along with incompatible thermostats. I met Gabriel when he and his crew replaced one of the a/c units where I work in University Park. They did a great job...family owned business. On time...courteous...knowledgable and got the job done that day. I told Gabriel that I was going to be in the market for new a/c system as mine wouldn't make it through another summer (about 20 years old) I sent him pictures and he gave me an estimate. Last Friday when I got home from work the outside unit was acting up. I called him and they came out and replaced my complete system with a Lennox. The whole job took about 4 hours. They clean up everything and use little booties for their shoes so there is no evidence they were there except for the cold air! I recommend Vanguard to anyone needing repairs or a new unit. So happy to know I will stay cool even when July and August roll around. Thank you Gabriel!!!

Today, I had the privilege of having Gabriel and Stephanie, his sister, service my A/C which stopped cooling several days ago. They showed up within hours of my initial call and were polite. After getting a little more information, Gabriel explained several possible reasons for my problem. He assured me that he would thoroughly check my system and do his best to get it working. Stephanie was right by his side helping him with the tools, diagnostics equipment, etc.

Gabriel explained what he was doing each step of the way. They wore show covers and cleaned up everywhere they worked. He flushed the lines, added refrigerant, made sure the flaps were working properly and more. He quoted what I believe was a fair price for the job. Before leaving, he told me to give him a call if I encountered any problems or if the house didn’t start to cool down in a few hours.

I never had to call Gabriel because he texted me to see if the house had cooled down. It has been a very long time since I have had such a pleasant experience with a service provider. They were a professional, pleasant, and truly a blessing to me!!

Who ever said peace of mind was priceless was right. A small remodel revealed that our AC unit was not in great shape. We called Gabriel and he made everything right. He showed up when he said he would. He was honest, transparent and just. This company is exceptional. So glad for the peace of mind he returned to our home. Highly recommend.

Vanguard is a fair, honest, and reliable AC company. After replacing my control board last summer and helping nurse my 21 year old unit through its last summer so I could save up, Gabriel and team installed a new unit this year. I opted for the Lennox two-stage with the new R454B refrigerant. It blows ice cold air! Gabriel never tried to sell me a unit, which was a nice change of pace from the few other companies that quoted me. Gabriel also leveled the base of my outdoor condenser, which looks very nice. On top of all that, they had to work with a very tight installation space (see photos)! Whether you’re looking to fix or replace your unit, Vanguard will point you in the right direction. I look forward to working with them on my second unit in a year or two.

I highly recommend Vanguard Construction & Innovations! They came through for me in a pinch. I felt like I was being deceived by another company and needed a second opinion. They came out the next morning and gave me an honest and fair assessment. The cost was literally 1/3 of what the other company was going to charge. The assessment was on Wednesday, and they were able to get the parts needed and complete the job Friday morning. Gabriel, the owner, and his team are phenomenal. They are very professional and kind! Our old heater had become unreliable, which led us to book a Wall heater replacement. The technician replaced it smoothly and checked that everything was functioning safely. I’m grateful the heat works well again.

Our ancient air conditioner was not able to sustain any longer, and we made appointments to have an AC installed. The installers were also time conscious and professional. The new system rapidly cools the house, and the interior air is fresher.
