The whole process (setting the appointment/following up/checking in day-of, etc) was smooth and painless. I highly recommend that you give Legend Air a call for all your HVAC needs. 10/10!!

Legend Air did a great job replacing our furnaces and an air conditioning coil. Luis came out for the initial inspection and gave us a variety of short term repairs and long term replacement options. Their prices were reasonable and the installation went smoothly. We would use them again for HVAC work.

Joshua was fantastic! He came out for our routine HVAC maintenance and cleaning as part of their service program, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. He was professional, punctual, and very thorough. He took the time to explain what he was doing, answered my questions, and made sure everything was running efficiently before he left. AC went down in the hottest week of summer and these guys had a technician out the same day who was able to diagnose and fix the problem on the spot. Fair price, great service, would definitely recommend!

We didn’t notice our AC had quit due to cooler temperatures outside. When it got hot again, we noticed, on a Friday. We called Ideal Air because we belong to their Comfort Club, a service plan that services your AC/Heat twice a year. They told us they could come out that same day at 2pm, you get priority service if you belong to Comfort Club. They were there at 1130am, fixed the AC-a capacitor issue, cleaned up and were gone without a fuss. They had the knowledge and parts on hand. I was very pleased with the technician Paul and the very friendly woman who scheduled the service call. I’ve been through several AC service companies, but am sticking with this one for a while. Try them, you won’t be sorry. The Comfort Club is a good deal.

I called Ideal Air last summer to inspect a newly installed Trane ac which was not able to keep up with the Texas summer temps. Mike, the owner, came out right on time and thoroughly checked every aspect. He and every one of his employees are honest, knowledgeable, and reliable. Will use them exclusively.

Had a new system installed to replace our 18 year old system. They were prompt with all correspondence and scheduled the install quickly. Their crew was on time (early actually) and polite.
Couple little issues that came up during the install and they took care of those as well.

I got Mike's name from the Nextdoor website. My neighbors loved him. My first experience with him was exceptional!
My second experience was a tune up. I only had it done once before by another company and had a horrible experience with them finding $500 worth of "repairs" and having the air conditioner break down again 2 days later!!! So I was dreading this. But just lilike my first experience......I was pleasantly surprised.
Today we had a drainage problem. Mike sent a very nice young man who came exactly when he was expected, found the problem immediately, fixed it quickly, was incredibly nice and it began to cool very quickly. I am so glad I found Ideal Air!

i called Ideal Air to get a second opinion on my upstairs unit. I spoke to one of the owners named Stephanie. Stephanie was super down to earth, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. We talked about my issue for what seemed like 15 minutes and she explained everything in technical terms and in detail about what they would do if they were to come out and diagnose the issue. One of their techs came to my house that week and confirmed a leak inside my coil by literally doing a leak test at coil inside the attic. The tech was also very friendly and went over everything. One thing i really liked about this business is they are local in Mckinney and do not try to pressure you or try to upsell you on whole new systems. I respect that alot! They simply tell you exacrly what is wrong and then give you information on best way to proceed. They also seem very honest and reasonsble in their pricing. I would highly recommend you give them a call!

I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was the consummate professional. He took his time to diagnose my unit and gave me details of the issue and the process. I didn't feel hustled or that he was trying to upsell me. Even though the repairs were a little too high for me to handle, I feel comfortable knowing the issue.

Stephanie is one of the most professional, caring, helpful, considerate people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. My elderly parent’s air conditioning unit stopped working and she ensured Mike made it to them immediately. Mike was very professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable. He got the job done quickly and he and my parents got along so well! He is such a people-person. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Call Ideal Air!! They’ll take the best care of you and your loved ones!

There's a reason Ideal Air has over 400 4.9 star reviews and has so many great recommendations on Nextdoor. I can't say enough good about owners Mike and Stephanie. They are super responsive and provide great service. I've learned enough about HVAC over the years to be a PITA with a lot of questions. With so much new technology, switch from R410A to R454B freon, single stage, 2 stage, variable speed, modulation, new SEER2 ratings, the choices were insane. Mike had the patience to answer all my questions. He was the most knowledgeable and responsive of the 4 companies and techs I had provide quotes. I'm not the easiest customer to please, but Ideal did an awesome job. I also applaud the entire Ideal Air crew. They showed up early for both and initial annual service and the day of a 3 ton replacement. Their top tech was great to explain several things to me and answer any questions I had. Good job Ideal Air, my new HVAC team!

Update: Mike and JaPaul came out to do a double check on new 1 month old system and make sure all was good. Adjusted heat strips and added small amount of freon to new system and double checked older system. Ideal Air is great. Mike is super knowledgeable and very informative, spending time explaining HVAS systems and answering any questions. My go to HVAC team.
