Antonio was very polite and careful. He examined the units inside and outside very thoroughly. Then he showed some of the things that can become issues, and gave me the solutions.

Andrew was great, very knowledgeable and helpful. Quickly showed me pictures of the problem and a couple options for fixing or replacing.

Sorry to do this. The initial consultation and free AC Tuneup was great and I felt like this was going to be an awesome experience.

When the guys showed up to do the work, they weren't provided the correct information or the complete explanation of the entire job. This made me extremely uncomfortable.

They contacted the office and talked to the guy who did the tune-up and provided the quotes. Eventually, they worked it out, but they had to leave to get the right parts. I don't blame the install guys, I blame the manager who sent them unprepared. I'm also not sure that all the work agreed to was completed. I'm working that out with their team and we'll see.

The approved service on my second unit was to be scheduled another day (neither the install guys nor I knew that was the happening).

I am hopeful still that it will all be taken care of, but the communication breakdown caused too much unnecessary stress - both for me and the two install guys.

I'll let you know how it ends up.

Andrew was great - on time and very responsive - willing to go above expectation to make sure our 14ft ceiling access panel was handled with care and cleaned afterwards.

Very courteous, communicative, knowledgeable tech. Notified me of his departure and arrival time. Thoroughly inspected the a/c heating system. Pointed out some issues that need to be addressed. And advised will consult with me shortly on a plan and cost to address.

Did not like. Although friendly, the technician used typical methods to push for high price full system replacement, showed readings from random gadgets to try to convince "the wife" that there were serious system problems, walked through the house and sat on the furniture. Unprofessional. we will not use again and certainly won't buy a system from them. It is too bad, this used to be a good AC company before the old owner passed away.

I have been a very happy customer of ACA for 20 years. It seems Dunrite has bought the company, I hope my experience continues to be amazing!

Gavin came to the house for maintenance on our ac systems. (It has been about a year since ACA has looked at it.) Gavin seemed very knowledgeable and professional. He was very clear about what he found and the work he recommended, many pictures included. He has been a huge help in facilitating next steps!

Long story, we are needing to put in one new system. (Much more expensive than we expected!) But, they have scheduled the work to be done quickly. 🤞 That the job is done well! I'm sure they will want a second review after the system is in.

So far, the process has been good. A few wrinkles along the way but it all has worked out so far.

Our service technician, Mark Walding, was exceptionally good. He explained his service on photographed all questionable areas. His attention to detail helped us make a informed decision.

Could not recommend Micheal enough. We had a leaking HVAC system and he came out after hours and fixed it. He responded very quickly to the call. He was an expert when it came to HVAC systems and was able to fix the leak quickly. He was extremely efficient and did an amazing job describing what caused the leak as well and what maintenance to prevent the issue from happening again.

Houston our technician was great! He was professional, knowledgeable, worked quickly and efficiently and did an excellent job. Thank you.

I live in a condo with with part of my AC on the roof, which makes it more difficult to get an AC company that will work on the unit. I went with Dun-Rite after reading reviews from others in my building, and could not have been happier with the decision. The repair tech, Spencer, was professional, competent, courteous, and informative. Definitely recommend!

Andrew did 2 of my homes. Very meticulous in that he provided in depth material including great pics of both issues and potential near term issues. In one of my nice rentals, he pointed out that the filter was 1) Really dirty forcing the HVAC & Heater to work a lot harder, 2) Someone had put the wrong filter in previously! and 3) the filter was.put in facing the wrong direction. I had this fixed immediately and becaus of these 3 issues, The fan motor looked as dirty as the filter and need to have that cleaned
Summary, These little issues put a strain on the whole system resulting in: Higher utility bill, shorter life of my HVAC system, and accelerated repairs on underperforming components that should have lasted years longer but now need to be replaced (i.e..capacitors, fan motor-outside unit, etc....I figure he saved me hundreds in repair bills! Thanks Andrew.

Spencer was very thorough and professional. He showed me pictures that he took of all the components he inspected and tested and then made some sensible recommendations for ongoing maintenance. I highly recommend this service.

Technician offered comprehensive status assessment about quality of a 40 y.o. system, and made appropriate repair/replacement recommendations.

Got the 40 y.o. air handler/heater replaced a few weeks later. Service men did a great job and cleaned up well.

Took weeks to get a part in, and we were not informed the technician was on vacation for a week. Then when he finally came out and put the part in, that wasn’t even what was wrong with the dishwasher. Said he would return to fix correctly and we cannot get him to return our call. 4 weeks without a dishwasher and we ended up buying a new one anyway. Never again.

    Dun-Rite has Dun-Wrong!!!
This is my first time writing a bad review for a business. I've tried countless times to speak with management but since they failed to return my calls I've decided to file my complaint here.

We recently had Dun-Rite come out Nov 13 to get a quote for new AC unit install and also to have duct work done. We explained to our sales rep that we wanted a full quote on a new system and repairs that needed to be done. Price total was around $18,500 from start to finish.

We were delighted when they said they could come next day to do install. However that is not exactly how it went it down. The technicians installed AC unit only. They failed to put back our attic siding, and said the duct work would be done within the week. We quickly noticed the fan on blower of new unit wouldnt shut off. We then had them come back out and found that the new unit had some sort of " malfunction" and they would need to order new parts. This was not repaired until 2 weeks later costing us $760 in electricity bill since the blower was unable to shut off. I had expressed my concern for a possible high electricity bill but they assured me it wouldn't be much higher. Bill went from $250 to $760... Meanwhile our duct work still needed to be done, and we were reaching 3 weeks since Initial install. Communication was a HUGE problem with this company. We were told to remove everything out of our sons room so that the work could be done back on Nov 14. They finally came to do duct work on Dec 4, and the work is still not complete because we need someone to fix the drywall from their repair.
Then We noticed the unit was not keeping up so we had Dun-Rite back out once again, only to find out more work needed to be done.
They then had the audacity to hit us with a $1,800 bill for the duct work, when they had put that work in the initial quote around $18,500.

We tried to speak to management about all our concerns but ended up being hounded to pay for the duct work, the $1,800 we didn't owe. This company sure has poor communication between customers and their employees.

My husband spoke to a guy who claimed to be of management and if he is I sure hope someone above him is reading this because he was beyond unprofessional. He said they would like to part ways with us as clients, instead of writing all the wrong and trying to make things right this was the companies response. Cowardly actions I would say.

For those looking for a reliable service that provides the utmost customer care and communication, well this is NOT the business to go with. For the amount of money it cost for new AC/ repairs I am truly disappointed.

Sorry for the novel but people should know. If you go and check Better business Bureau you will see this company has had several complaints within last 6 months. Lesson learned. God bless and Good riddance.

We highly recommend Dun-Rite HVAC services. We felt comfortable with the technician, GAVIN, who seemed to do a very thorough and honest inspection of our units without pressuring us to buy parts or services that we did not really need. The technician was very professional and seemed very trustworthy.

He replaced two capacitors for $532. My family had a fit and said we were taken advantage of because we are elderly. Will not be using this company again. He also wanted to put in a quick start for $986 that we have been told since we do not need. Beware folks!

The actual service was good. The outside unit was cleaned and the UV light was installed efficiently. On the not so good side, they left the back gait unlatched so my dog got out, and they left the hose turned on when they finished the cleaning.

While the technician was very pleasant, he was unable to identify the location of an assumed leak. Instead of additional troubleshooting, he went straight to the entire system needs to be replaced with a very costly install. I suggest you avoid Dun-Rite for AC repair/troubleshooting. The experience was much more like a sales call than a maintenance visit.
I am very unhappy and do not recommend Dun-Rite.
