There was a water pipe that burst so they replaced the pipes in the kitchen. They fixed the tile around the tub. They went above and beyond to get the job done right. They followed up afterward to make sure I was satisfied. They cleaned up the area. I would highly recommend James Armstrong Plumbing and use them again.

James came in and replaced water supply line and valve to my toilet. He was very professional. I would highly recommend this business to anyone. If I need plumbing service again I will definitely be calling James again

I had a water near the kitchen in an area where the washer is located. Water would also occasionally appear in the garage area nearby. All this information was conveyed to the plumber by the guests staying at my house. I was out of the country when these problems arose and called JA Plumbing. They came to the house promptly at the indicated time. The plumber told me the water was due to a leaking toilet due to a broken flange. He indicated the toilet had some play. Although the toilet was not near the garage or the washer area I trusted the diagnosis made by presumably someone who knows what he is doing. However, the diagnosis was completely wrong. Replacing the flange did not have any effect on the water accumulating in the washer area or the garage. It turned out that the leak was coming from an outside faucet that had only recently started being used by the guests.

The charge for replacing the toilet flange was $850, more than twice the rate charged by the highest bidder of several plumbing companies I recently polled. I was out of the country and since the plumber claimed the water was coming from the toilet I had no choice but to authorized the work.

When I questioned the exorbitant charge for a job that took less than two hours, the owner James said I was paying for their knowledge and skills. However, with said knowledge and skills they misdiagnosed the problem! If you charge an exorbitant fee you should at least guarantee your results.
He argued that no one could tell if the toilet was also leaking!

They charged me to solve the wrong issue and they charged me twice the going rate. As a remedy, I was expecting they would at least fix the actual leak without any charge or alternately charge me just 50 percent for the misdiagnosed work that I they did . A fair fee for that matter. James instead offered to fix the actual problem for half the price which was a whopping savings of $125 dollars for me. I rejected his offer and will be submitting a formal complaint to the Texas Better Business Bureau and I will pursue a claim against the company in small claims court.

Don't trust this company unless you enjoy being robbed.

Price gouging at its FINEST! Do NOT recommend. Leak had already been confirmed and location pinpointed, plumbers directed to suspected location. Once here, owner demanded an astronomically higher price than average ($600+) for the diagnostic (had been quoted $85). Definitely will not use them for the repair. Highly suspect many of their positive reviews are bought.

I got the actual owner, James Armstrong and his helper Joe to come and repair my shower and toilet. Mr. Armstrong was very friendly and professional while doing the repairs. Mr. Armstrong explained and answered all my questions. The prices were fair and service was top notch!
I will be using James Armstrong plumbing again soon.

Definitely recommend. James always answers his phone and always has lightning fast times for coming out to evaluate the problem, give you a rundown of the problem, and how you can go about repairing/replacing your existing problem. I asked for confirmation on a leak I found with thermal imaging under my slab with a hydrostatic pressure test. After quoting me a ridiculous amount hundreds of dollars over fair market value, he said he would offer a $300 discount for me pinpointing the exact location before the testing commenced. Once he was done, he informed me that the 300 would only apply to a repair. He wanted over $2000 in cash more that day to schedule a repair after I told him I needed to speak to my insurance first. I had to tell him more than once that I wasn't scheduling it that day.
Here's the kicker: after leaving a review for overcharging me and not honoring his word, he asked if I could remove my review in exchange for the discount he promised. When I agreed and removed my review, he re-charged me the $300 discount! Dishonest con artist, would not recommend.

James is very courteous and professional. He was hired by my landlord on the same day he installed a new hot water tank. All up to Code. I would recommend him 10 times over.

We had a slow draining kitchen sink. James responded very quick. He covered the floor with drop cloth to protect our floor and cabinets. Remove the trap for access to the drain with a power drain cleaner. Drain was free and clear and flowed all the water we could run down it. Great clean professional service. We also needed to replace our old food disposal. It was replaced in a short time and a very clean install.

Very professional and handled my leak issue within a few hours. James was great to work with and he made the calls for water clean up and restoration. Everything was handled and I didn’t have to think or panic.

James Armstrong Plumbing replaced of main water line from meter to house. Outstanding service and follow-up. Sebastian the plumber, initially installed a temporary line so that I would have water. He installed the permanent line and returned to repair a drip system leak at no charge. He was very professional and courteous. They care they took in completing the job properly and professionally. I would definitely recommend this company.

WOW what a Great experience From James Armstrong Plumbing that started out as a NIGHTMARE. Hot water heater broke in the middle of the night and flooded my House, called around looking for someone to help me and was gives the name of James. Well I gave him a call around 11:30am and left message with his office, and received a call back about noon from James, told him my tale of Whoa and Janes took it from there, he was at my house by 3:15pm looked the problem over and gave me a FAIR estimate, I could go on and on but to make a long story short James removed my broken old unit and Replaced and I had Hot water by 6:30pm. Thanks James you've got a customer for Life.

I've used James Armstrong Plumbing for the plumbing issue. They did an excellent job. They checked things out very thoroughly. It was interesting though because right where they where checking I have a fire smoke alarm and it's one of the tests they had to do. There was no smoke or anything, but they checked everything up and nailed down the right problem to make sure that nothing else was going on. They were very thorough and very professional. I have been using James Armstrong Plumbing the last 4 years, and I'm always happy with their services.
