Great customer service. Prompt response time and took a very short time fixing my problem. Explained everything he was going to do and the cost up front. Extremely reasonable price. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them in the future for all my plumbing needs.

We called early in the morning for a huge pipe burst. The owner squeezed us in and came out to look at it himself. That afternoon we had his team out fixing 20’ of damaged water lines on our almost 100 year old home. They did great work at a fair price. Definitely would use them again!

Art is a master(piece) plumber! My sprinkler pipe froze and broke during the most recent freeze, and Art promptly fixed it. He identified the problem, the sprinkler company didn't put the pipes below the freeze line, and gave a detailed report with pictures to show the sprinkler company. He even answered a question of mine way past working hours. I would definitely recommend Art for all your plumbing needs!

Art was absolutely the best! We had some leakage after the freeze a few days ago, and couldn't identify a reason why. We called Essential Plumbing for the same day service, and despite Art had a schedule filled up, he understood our needs, worked around his tight schedule and came to visit our house just within 4 hours. He carefully went around to look into pipes, sinks, etc and shared tips on how to do maintenance, and ended up charging us zero cost! He could have charged all the professional charges like other vendors do, but was kind enough to share all the advice for us who are the first home owners. I would highly recommend Art and the business to my neighboring friends. We are so glad that we found an honest, modest and kind professional in town. We will definitely call for help again from Art when we need help.

Art and his brother were amazing! Our water heater broke and Art was able to come over the same day to check it out and got us scheduled first thing the next morning. I even got estimates from all the big chain companies and Essential Plumbing was by far the best value. These folks were outstanding. Very clean, thorough, and professional. I had a three story leak, beginning in the attic and terminating above the laundry room on the first floor. Water line crack. From finding the leak, which was quite challenging, to repairing the full line, it only took them 24 hours, and the end result I am highly satisfied with.

We've dealt with several Pearland plumbers for over a decade about regular maintenance (clogged lines, including from the AC drain, broken pipes, fixture upgrades, sprinkler system breaks, water heaters, etc.) as well as installation of a whole home softener and filter system over the past 10 years. We needed a line snaked (again) due to AC condensate clogging and found Essential Plumbing and its owner Art Fonseca in a search for master plumbers. Art not only came the same day with a fair price for the work. He took the time to fully understand our issue, our history with previous plumbers, explain what was needed and why, and executed the work transparently and thoroughly. He is a great guy, a straight shooter who is extremely easy to understand, with no surprises. He even followed us outside to advise us on options for our aging water treatment system that both confirmed what we had learned in our own research, but also explained what we would and would not need a plumber for if we replaced it when needed. We plan to use his company for all of our plumbing needs going forward. Start your plumber search with him and you'll save a lot of hassles.

Art came out to change a 30 year old gas valve for my stove. He was quick, efficient, knowledgeable, had a great personality and great conversation to boot. Very pleasant experience. Great job, will use again. Highly recommend!

Found Art at Essential plumbing through a Facebook portable generator page. I needed a natural gas line hook up for my generator and called Art. He came out and was super friendly and professional and very reasonable in price. He even stayed and got my water heater back running after it would not come back on, which was not Art’s fault. My family had a late Friday evening event so Art came back Saturday morning to finish up. If I have any plumbing issues I’ll be calling Art at Essential plumbing.
