I don't like giving negative reviews as I know there are real people on the other end trying to make a living.

But today's experience was off the charts... my a/c unit broke today. I called this company and they were able to get a tech out in 30 mins (which I appreciated).

Their tech Chris arrived and took a look at the unit.
He came back and said it would cost me "$749 even" to fix it.

In a state of sticker shock, I asked for a price breakdown. He said the capacitor was broken. And I needed a compressor starter kit. And service charge. I asked him for the part's name to see if they would price match. He visibly looked upset.

At this point, he mumbled something, slammed my front door on me and left. I didn't know what had happened.

He returned a few minutes later upset and impatient barely able to hold a conversation. I shared my surprise at his reaction to my earlier question. He did not acknowledge it. He proceeded to say that "the conversation was over" and just left.

Needless to say, but I got my a/c unit fixed with another company.

I am not an expert at a/c units. So, I ask questions to learn. If I can learn, then I can make better choices to do what is right for me.

Rude. Unprofessional. Upsetting experience. That was my impression and experience with this company.

My AC went out at 2am (of course), and out of the numerous companies that I contacted for repair help,1st Class Heat and Air was able to send someone out within 6 hours of receiving my call (non emergency!). Chris Miller was courteous and respectful, and answered/ put up and with all of my inquiries without delay. I told Chris that 1st Class Heat and Air was my AC go-to from now on. I would highly recommend this company from today’s experience.

Aaron B. got here on time and was very efficient. I especially appreciate his explanation of the issue, and quick fix. I feel good about the service, and we talked about what my needs will be when the time does come for replacement. 1st Class will be my service provider going forward!

Aaron was super friendly and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue and informed me of an approximate quote before continuing. Everything was done within a few minutes and payment process was convenient and easy. Thanks for the great service!

My system didn’t feel like it was working so I look around reading reviews and kept seeing Aaron’s name in all the reviews. I called first class to have them come check out my unit. Thank god they sent Aaron. Talk about a professional. He was on time and very polite. He talked me through the entire process. When he did find some problems he came straight tight to me. Gave me the pros and cons of repairing the system. He didn’t try to sale anything. He gave me the solutions. I said yes he got straight to work. He had me fixed up in no time. No pressure and full understanding. From here on out Aaron is my guy. He is the one to ask for. 5star for 1st class and 10 starts for Aaron.

I used this company a few years ago when my AC was not cooling at all. Another company had come out prior to 1st Class and added 2 gallons of Freon, but didn't do anything about the leak that was apparently there. So when the system stopped cooling again, I called 1st Class Heat & Air. The long and the short of it is that we had them install a new AC, and we were very satisfied with every aspect of our dealings with them.

We have continued to use them for regular service check-ups, and last year we had them install a new furnace. All has been fine, and we have been completely impressed with their professionalism, courtesy, rates, timeliness, knowledge, staff, and the service they have performed. We had them come out this week for the regular service check-up on the AC. Once again, everyone we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. When so many companies fail to meet even a minimum level of expectation, 1st Class Air impresses at every turn.

This company and their staff are 1st Rate. They are a diamond in the rough!

Thanks to Service Tech Chris Miller for saving the day on a HOT Texas Sunday!! Chris was quick to arrive after our desperate call for help and did a great job diagnosing....and then fixing the AC problem with our main unit. He explained what the issues were and what needed to be done thoroughly, and then gave us the options and costs before proceeding.

Chris got us back up and running in less than 2 hours. We were able to enjoy a nice cool house again!!

John came out about an hour after I called and fixed a start regulator in about fifteen minutes. John is awesome. Very professional , personable, and knows what he’s doing. Highly recommended.

I have used 1st Choice Air for over five years including regular maintenance and a full system replacement. Each time they come out they take the time answer my questions and have never pressured me into any extra services unless I specifically asked for them. My last technician, Chris, has been maintaining my unit for the last 2 years and has been a top notch professional. A capacitor finally went out (2023) but Chris has kept me aware of it for the last 2 years and hasn’t recommended replacing until now, before it went out unexpectedly in the summer time. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and recommend them to anyone I know. Keep up the good work.

My a/c unit broke Sunday evening. I filled out the online form on 1st Class Heat & Air’s website on Monday morning. By 10AM my a/c was repaired. I’m extremely grateful for the prompt service because forecasted temps this week are well over 100 degrees. The technician John was professional and answered all of my questions. My a/c unit is over 18 years old. I appreciate that John was able to fix it so quickly and he didn’t pressure me into buying a new system. John is a pleasure to work with and has certainly earned my trust. I know I’ll need to replace it someday, and plan to have that work done by 1st Class Heat & Air.

1st Class Heating and Air is just that. Josh arrived at my home an hour and a half after I requested help. Our house had a clogged drain pan that would’ve flooded the attic shortly without his help. He was knowledgeable quick to work while willing to answer any questions pleasantly. He did all of this without creating the need for extra work, worry or up charging. I had a wonderful experience with 1st Class Heat & Air. I had been putting off having my heating unit checked and discovered it not working during this recent cold snap. I chose 1st Class after reading about the company and seeing some good reviews.They were able to send someone out quickly to help. Daniel did an excellent job of explaining to me what the problem was and what options I had. I chose to have a new unit installed, even though they offered to fix the old one. Since it was 15 years old I knew it would need to replaced sooner rather than later. Dane called me quickly and I was able to get great financing, he was friendly and helpful, answering all of my questions. The installers were there first thing the next morning, just as promised. They were polite and got right to work. Daniel came by while they were still working and made sure all my questions were answered and even got the filters out that I had been putting off changing. They were done a little after noon. I couldn't have asked for nicer people or a better experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks 1st Class for a great job !

1st Class Air Service is amazing!!!! At a point of total frustration with the service we’d always used, we took a chance and used the text feature to reach out. In 5 minutes we had an appointment and within 45 minutes Aaron was at our door and did a fantastic job. No run around, clear explanation of what was wrong AND he has everything we needed in his truck and was done in no time. Thank you so much!!!

After using another AC company for years (forget getting service after hours or on weekends), I found 1st Class Heat & Air online. They had a 4.5-star rating and their website said same day service, so I gave them a call. This was after hours on a Thursday; I really didn’t expect a return call until the next day. A technician called me right back and was at our home within an hour. After he assessed the problem, he quoted me a price, and said that we needed to shut the unit off, and he would be back in the morning. They do have a service call fee, which I expected would be double, they only charged me for one.

The technician arrived as promised, not only did he fix the problem quickly, but the price was lower than he had quoted. I asked him if they had a sr. citizen discount, he said they did and took an additional 10% off!

I would HIGHLY recommend 1st Class Heat & Air; they are our HVAC company choice going forward. A very happy customer!

Best customer service we have ever received from any service company. Chris Miller was fantastic. He walked us thru the installation process of our new A/C system and made sure everything was handled quickly and professionally. The installation crews were on-time, courteous, extremely clean and went above and beyond our expectations. Booked a tune-up on Sunday afternoon, they were able to come out at 9am the next day. The tech was on time and very professional. He walked me through ways to avoid future problems. I will definitely be using 1st Class for future tune-ups and any needed repairs.

Last night my AC unit failed and I needed to reach someone to fix it.
From all the companies that I called, only one was available to come to my house and fix it the same day.
1st Class Heat and Air Inc. sent a Technician and when he arrived, immediately introduced himself and shook my hand, very nice, professional and knowledgeable about the job he was about to perform. In less than 5 minutes John told me the issue and proceeded to replaced the part. Our AC was back on and we were blessed to have someone that care about his customers.
