After Staggs plumbing came through and screwed up the job and after charging us $700 dollars we called Horizon plumbing. A guy named Cody came by fixed the issue that Staggs plumbing quoted $6500 for ( yes you heard that number right) in 5 min and said it was too small a fix and he wouldn't even charge us for it. Companies like Horizon plumbing will go a long way as long as they charge a honest price for a job at hand. We need more trust worthy companies like this.

Our tankless water heater died the week before Thanksgiving and they managed to fit us on the schedule and complete the install of a new unit the day before Thanksgiving just in time for guests! Zane and his helper were quick and quiet with the install. Zane communicated through every step and even when they needed to leave for additional material. They tested every faucet in the house before leaving too.
Update: We needed up with a pipe drip right after the install and Zane came out to inspect and provide a temporary solution to get us through the weekend.
We are thankful for the service and quick turn around of things and highly recommend Horizon Plumbing! -
Zane and Horizon Plumbing were punctual, thorough, professional, and courteous in replacing our water heater. They identified & communicated mistakes left by the previous plumber who installed the last water heater 10 years ago and explained how they were correcting them. They also took the time upon completion to explain the functionality of the new water heater & possible upgrades and ensured we had hot water before they left. The installation is clean and I highly recommend which is saying a lot because I’ve worked in residential new home purchasing for the last 20+ years.

Zane came out this morning and took such great care of us. Our tankless water heaters had stopped working and when he came to fix them, he was efficient, thorough, and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what was wrong with them almost immediately and fixed them fast. Just a great professional and honest. Our units are almost 15 years old so we suspect they won’t last many years longer and when they finally bite the dust, we’re calling Horizon. 10/10 stars.

The technician worked very hard to install the unit in the location that worked best after consulting with the vendor. Came back a second day to finish the hook up and checked back after completion to make sure we were satisfied. Cory took his time to make sure it was done right and that we were satisfied.

Water is leaking under the bath sink. “I tightened and aligned the gasket” and it’s still leaking. “I did all I can do. Contact manufacturer. It supposed not to be water proof”
Bath sink is not supposed to be water proof? And leaking water under the cabinet and damaging it is normal? Very logical.
Avoid at all cost. They will charge you for things they can’t solve and point finger to other party.

Your explanation completely misses the point. You’re addressing something that was never the issue in the first place.
I never complained about water leaking through the pull rod. I know perfectly well that part isn’t supposed to be sealed — that’s not where the problem is. The actual leak happens between the faucet base and the vanity top. That’s the area where water seeps through during normal use, like washing hands or brushing teeth. Don’t you see the water drop and water mark around the gasket?
You keep saying everything was installed “per manufacturer specifications.” Maybe so. But that doesn’t explain why water was still leaking right in front of you. You didn’t identify the real cause, and you didn’t fix anything. You simply repeated a line that sounds technical without solving the actual problem.
In the end, I sealed the gap between the faucet base and the vanity top, and the leak stopped completely. That alone proves what the issue was — and that your plumber missed something basic.
As for the claim about “pouring cups of water,” that’s misleading. The reason water was poured was to clearly demonstrate the leak — because under normal use, the same thing happens, just slower. No one is dumping water on their sink for fun. It was done to replicate normal conditions and show you what’s wrong, instead of waiting days for it to happen naturally.
The problem wasn’t the pull rod. It wasn’t the gaskets. It was the seal between the faucet base and the vanity top. You failed to find that, dismissed the complaint, and then blamed “user misuse.” That’s not professional — it’s just avoiding responsibility. -
Troy and the team at Horizon are simply more than you expect when sealing out a plumbing repair. The communication upfront and while they were here was outstanding and the prices when they were done were extremely fair. If you’re just looking for a simple straightforward solution to your problem without an upsell, then these are your guys! The plumber that came out was named Lane and he was a very well mannered guy that took his time explaining things and then worked quickly to get the job done. Very professional, will definitely use again.

Ben (our tech, but also everyone we've worked with at Benjamin Franklin) was cheerful and extremely helpful, walking through his theories of what could have caused our leak and explaining next steps.

James was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk with. The problem is not an easy one to solve. He checked various places to find the gate valve, but it was no where to be found! My neighbor and I both were surprised to find out there was a different shut off other than the one at the curb! Anyway, I would definitely call James again for plumbing issues. I was advised that Benjamin Franklin was a little more expensive than other plumbing companies, but that they know their business...and I agree, the extra cost was worth it.

I have used Ben Franklin Plumbing for 10+ years. Art Childress was the technician who came to flush the water heater and inspect the other plumbing in the house. Art did the same thorough , professional job I expect from Ben Franklin. He made recommendations, answered questions and provided an estimate for the work.

Thank goodness for Baker Brothers and David Jason, one of their men working on Saturday. I just had foot surgery and water was all around the toilet and soon to be on the bamboo floor. I am grateful for the office finding someone right away! Bakers Brothers,May each of you be blessed this Thanksgiving! You certainly deserve many blessings! On Monday my toilet was replaced and the old carried off. Then my Hot Water Heater was drained and I bought their annual membership, which I think will be very helpful! The owner, David talked with me and found me the perfect toilet for my small bathroom space. See photo. Thank you for helping my Thanksgiving Week to be even more grateful. Always check their coupons before they arrive; and they send them to your phone if you wish.

Noah was patient and very thorough. This was the second time I had to have someone come out as the issue was not solved the first time. Right now it seems we are all set. Thank you!

Jeffery was on time, courteous & professional. He completed the job in 40 mins. The main sink in our master bath was “snaked” & cleared in 30 mins for which I was charged $300 which is OK. However, it took him only 10 mins to clean out the P-Trap on the second sink for which was I charged $200!!! RIDICULOUS!!! Comment - Since he was ALREADY here, the second sink cleaning charge should have been NO MORE than $100 MAX. (This review would have been 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Star except for the OVERCHARGE for the 2nd sink!!!)

Prompt, genuinely nice tech. He cleaned my slow kitchen drain till it started flowing again. I wish he would have pushed it all the way to the main drain, but at least it’s flowing as needed. He offered the whole home visual inspection which I declined, as I know my plumbing fairly well.

Kasey and his colleague were excellent in their work, professional, and highly helpful in finding the problem. We appreciate the team.
Timothy and Parker did an excellent work the next day in fixing or rather revamping the AC unit. We would recommend Benjamin Franklin as a “preferred company” for any plumbing work. Thank you folks.
Timothy did an excellent job fixing a small issue with plumbing. Thank you Tim. -
I had a leak on my outside faucet in a difficult place. Cody walked me through all the options and worked to explain alternatives. He fixed it the faucet with a damaging the brick. He had the best interest of my needs and quickly gained my trust.

Howard was very polite & knowledgeable. I was referred to your company by my father and he has always been satisfied with your work,as I am also. I highly recommend your company for any plumbing issues you might encounter. Benjamin Franklin sends out notification of whom your technician will be before arriving at your home which gave me piece of mind & a link to follow your technician trip on arrival to your home and how far away they are (very accurate on time arrival)!

Today I met a very nice licensed professional, Mr. Jeffery, who figured out how to get my gas fireplace up and running! I was very pleased with his work! I will be calling him back if needed!
-
Trip charge of $79 for absolutely nothing, and to tell me it will cost me another $129 to find out if the leak is in the irrigation or main line and $395 to find out where exactly the leak is after that.total rip off. USELESS, stay away!

Matthew was very polite, personable and professional and he got the job done quickly. He also asked me about any other needs and if I wanted him to check anything. He always educated me on water pressures. I would highly recommend him for any repairs you need.

Mr. Kasey came early. He fixed the problem quickly. He allowed me a substantial discount. And I found him extremely cordial and helpful.
