Reviews of local pros in Plano, Texas

Benjamin, Logan and Richard at Joshua Tree Experts proved they are indeed experts after trimming some well established trees at our home in Richardson. They show they care about your satisfaction but most importantly about the health of your trees! To hear Benjamin talk about a tree is like taking care of a family member.

Had 3 trees that had been lion tailed and cleaned out several years ago.
Scott was helpful and knowledgeable with the estimate.
Benjamin (certified arborist) was very knowledgeable and patient to explain his process and discuss/address any concerns I had.
Not as much pruning as I had expected (or wanted/hoped?), but he explained the process and was very surgical in his trimming approach.
Not the cheapest, but worth the value so far. May need to reevaluate in the spring when growth comes back.
I’m trusting the process and would recommend their services.
They were the most expensive of 3 quotes but my comfort level with their knowledge won out (especially since I got burned last time).

Benjamin and his partner did excellent work. He understood my expectations and shared his expertise. My front yard looks great! I'm glad I called Scott and his team at Joshua Tree. I highly recommend. Thank you!

We were very pleased with this company from start to finish. The owner, Scott, was very knowledgeable regarding the best way to trim our trees without damaging their growth or putting them into shock. He was very professional, and so were his employees that actually did the work. They did a fantastic job, and I highly recommend them!

Prompt—Proficient—Professional, these are apt descriptors of the service that I recently received from Joshua Tree Experts! Prior to the service, Scott provided a complimentary consultation that was extremely comprehensive in nature! My trees, shrubs, and lawn were pruned and treated with the requisite nutrients to ensure growth and health! If your trees/shrubs/lawn are in disrepair—I would definitely recommend Joshua Tree Experts—they will provide the proper care!

I love Joshua Tree! Such polite, friendly, and knowledgeable people that communicated well via text regarding appt reminders and in person when they came to prune our big trees. They fertilized, treated and pruned our trees with an excellent clean up job! I was super impressed. Joshua Tree showed great attention to detail and I would highly recommend!

From the estimate to the actual service, it was obvious that Joshua Tree is courteous, expertly knowledgeable, service oriented, and a company of high integrity. They walked me through the whole process and answered all my questions at each step. Joshua Tree cared for my maturing trees from the roots with a deep fertilization to the top with the skilled trimming and pruning that only a trained arborist can do. I absolutely recommend this company!

Benjamin, Logan, and Richard trimmed six of our trees in Allen, TX last week. They were meticulously focused on the health and shape of the tree instead of the hack/slash tree cutting so common in north Texas. The crew worked the entire day and did a great job. I would recommend Joshua Tree Experts for your tree care.

The team did a great job. We recently purchased this property and the large trees haven't been properly managed in years. The team pruned them correctly to facilitate proper growth, longer life, and reduced risk from wind or ice damage. They're beautiful. Great clean up afterward and very courteous crew. Well done!

From analysis to trimming JTE are the very best tree service company I have ever seen or used. They keep you updated on every step of the process. Their cleanup was great. They left our yards and walkways completely clean.
I highly recommend Josha Tree Experts!!

Superior company. Quick communication, affordable, and excellent job pruning my huge trees. I appreciated how they took time to discuss their plan, explain the rationale, listen to my input, & treated me with respect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Scott provided a great, no-pressure consultation. Benjamin then did a stellar job, walking me through the process before and after the work was done. Their pricing is very competitive with general landscapers, but with the added expertise of being tree specialists. Highly recommend!

From my estimate appointment with the owner Scott to the tree trimming with lead tree trimmer Benjamin and Richard , it was a professional experience. Nice job and service. Highly recommended!

I think Joshua Tree did a great job pruning my trees. They were all very nice and spoke lovely English so that we could communicate. I especially liked that they all seemed to really care about doing a good job. They gave great advice, knew what they were doing, left my trees all with great new cuts, and cleaned up after the job. What more could a person want.

Wow. The owner, Scott, did a great job explaining what we needed to protect the health of our trees. Just had our trees done and they have never looked better! Benjamin, Richard, and Logan were not only on time but even a little early. They did an outstanding job with the trees and clean up. Highly-recommend and will absolutely be using again!

Tree experts that were worth every penny. They trimmed my trees and shrubs and explained everything along the way and were very meticulous about cleanup. The owner showed up on site to make sure everything was on track and I was happy. Great service from beginning to end.

I recently used Joshua Tree Service for the first time to trim a large oak tree. I was most impressed with the high quality of service received, as well as the results on my tree. I had used other tree service companies in the past trying to bring proper shape and definition to the tree, but had never been satisfied. Before I signed for the work with Joshua, their representative showed me with a laser pointer, explicitly and in great detail,
which large limbs and branches would need to be eliminated and which other main branches would need to be encouraged to become dominant, and told me how this would be accomplished. He was an extremely knowledgeable arborist, and the end result, after they did the work, was outstanding and markedly different from the results I had received in past years. Joshua Tree Service has my highest recommendation!

Strongly recommend Scott and his team for any of your tree care needs! I have a yard full of large trees that needs attention, and Scott gave me a comprehensive plan to care for them. The day of the trim Benjamin and Richard were my arborists and they were awesome to work with; professional, friendly, with great communication. They cleaned up completely and left all my trees looking great! I even got compliments from neighbors on the politeness of the team.

Scott came out and gave me a very thorough review of our trees and a game plan. He was very friendly and professional and spent a lot of time educating me on our trees, etc…the crew that came out to trim the trees were equally as impressive, knowledgeable and did an amazing job! The trees looked great when they were done. I plan on using them going forward for our tree care.

I contacted Joshua Tree Experts for a quote to straighten some 5 year old trees in the backyard. I received a timely response and an appointment was scheduled with Scott for a few days later.

After the initial visit by Scott a date was set to straighten the trees. Benjamin and Richard arrived on the day as scheduled and began to straighten the trees. They were very professional, courteous and willing to take an extra step to ensure they did not hit an irrigation line with the tree stakes.

They actually straightened more trees than I had received a quote for, Scott did not charge for the extra tree straightening.

I am very pleased with Joshua Tree Experts from initial contact until the final completion. I have no hesitancy recommending Joshua Tree Experts.

Scott and his team did a fantastic job taking care of our trees this past week! Scott was very knowledgeable on what is best for our tree to grow and be healthy, as well as how to trim it so that it can sustain storms. His team was managed by Benjamin who is also extremely knowledgeable and an arborist. They worked quickly, and cleaned up all branches and leaves when they were done. Our yard was truly enhanced by their skill and efforts, and our trees look the best they have ever! I would highly recommend Scott and his team! They are worth it!
