I have been a client of Chrome Heating & Air Conditioning for years and have always experienced prompt and professional service. The technicians are personable and professional but most importantly they are extremely knowledgeable. I've found having the maintenance service contract to be a great advantage.

After a great experience with Ben for my spring A/C maintenance, I called Chrome again to do my fall/winter service. Not only was I offered a same-day appointment, but DJ was fast, thorough and even reassured me about a new noise my old system was making. The pricing was very affordable and I signed up for the annual maintenance membership to save even more next year on seasonal tune-ups and any necessary parts and equipment.

This was our first experience with Paul. He is replacing a technician who was promoted had been providing excellent service for years. Paul had big shoes to fill.

Paul was excellent. He was very neat and thorough and explained exactly what he was going to do and then explained his findings to us. Again, Paul he’d big shoes to fill snd he wore them well. We look forward to working with Paul in the coming years.

Paul Hutton did a great job. He really knows the AC business. He’s very kind and polite. I like him a lot. Joel trained him well.

Two service men diagnosed the real problem very quickly when they pulled the front off the inside unit and discovered the drain pipe filled with gunk. no need to replace anything. and they did it for free because the initial repairman who came out three weeks ago should have seen the real issue. My wife was angry because we have gone without an AC for 3 hot weeks, ut we will save on the electric bill.

I’m really grateful for AC PROS and technician Terry! He saved us when we were in a hot spot and desperate for a fix in a tight timeframe! Straightforward talk and quick resolution!

Casey was here first time & did a great job. However not happy with the reception Extremely large time window (8-1) & then I get a call at around 12 that the technician I had requested won’t make it due to family emergency! They knew that he had taken time off since Friday,& the least they could do is inform me beforehand! Luckily technician Casey was good & did a great job but very disappointed with the reception! This is perhaps the first time I’m ever posting a negative review

technician showed up on time and appeared in professional attire.
After about an hour in the attic, he informed me that my metering device AKA expansion valve was leaking. HMM? Had a guy from another AC service tell me the same thing two years ago, and still have had no issues. I informed him of the fact that the secondary drain line was dripping, and asked him to check the primary line. This is the second time he has done this check this year. First time I had to point out what the problem was and he repaired the outside drain line. This service call he said that the primary drain pan was dirty and possibly rusting and offered to replace it for $300.00, instead of cleaning the pan out. HMM again. He also told me that the return air flow was not the correct size and needed to be replaced with a larger CFM duct.
3rd HMM?. He did not do a coil cleaning on the condenser outside. 4th HMM? He gave me a quote of $3500.00 to fix these issue. Considering that we have had no issues with the AC for years, i think this company is more interested in selling unneeded
work, instead of actually doing the preventative maintenance that I signed up for. I'm not going to recommend the company to anyone, and will be more than happy to explain why do the above
comments.

I had to supply my own filter for additional cost.

Today was spring check up day for our units. They let me know Paul was on his way. He arrived, introduced himself and put on his shoe covers. Explained what he was going to do and asked about any concerns. He checked everything, addressed a balance issue and checked and cleaned the outside units. Friendly, polite and efficient. Great Service!!

Casey & his helper (sorry, terrible with names) were right on time. Friendly, courteous and polite. Very quick & efficient. Resolved a couple of minor issues not on their paperwork due to a glitch in the system. Very nice job gentlemen!

A/C Pros has outstanding service! Everyone I have spoken with is very polite and professional. They keep you informed about timing of your appointment as well as sending a picture of your technician prior to their arrival.

Emmanuel has been our technician several times and is amazing. He is engaging, listens and takes time to explain everything. This visit was for our new maintenance agreement.

Joel came out to diagnose a continuing problem. He is friendly, courteous & hopefully has addressed the issue. Kudos to everyone at A/C Pros for their work ethic & working to resolve our problem.

I recently had my AC serviced by your technician because it was blowing hot air. Despite adding 4.5 pounds of freon and mentioning a potential system leakage, I was assured it would work fine for the year. However, it failed after just over two months, resulting in a costly repair of $650. Furthermore, there seemed to be no follow-up on the picture of the inner coil taken or the promised estimates for repair. This lack of communication and unfulfilled promises has left me dissatisfied with the service I received. Additionally, I’ve tried calling for estimates without success, which is disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service to others.

Edit: I received a message from AC Pros informing me that they couldn’t locate me from their system. It seems that I inadvertently provided A.K. Bob as my name when I received the service. July 23, 2023

There are ALLOT of HVAC companies and products. If you want the BEST. Call Russ and Laura Teager at AC Pros in Richardson. They will treat you with respect, give you a great price and stand behind their work. Put your investment in AC Pros, we did!!!

Casey Morris was professional, knowledgeable and provided excellent repair service to our Trane air conditioning unit. We appreciated that he communicated so well in explaining to us the steps he took to insure our unit was repaired properly. We will request Casey for any future repairs requiring a repair team.
