What a total ripoff!! This guy comes in and replaces my ice maker that’s still not producing ice and then he’s not offering any warranty for the product, no refund either. Just told me to replace more parts. I emailed my attorney and I’ll be getting my money back no problem, and more!! You found the wrong customer to screw over

King Appliance Service came as a recommendation. For starters, I always appreciate a courtesy text of when the technician is on their way. Arriving within the scheduled time, Joe was able to troubleshoot the issue, gave his expert opinion on potential fixes and was able to solve the issue. Even if he wasn't able to fix our freezer, he would still deserve the 5 stars. He was friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. We will definitely use King Appliance again.

I'm sorry to report we were more than disappointed with king. GE dryer stopped heating and we were told that the diagnostic showed 2 thermistors were bad and that it would be $412 to replace them. Since we only paid like $550 for the dryer new we decided to try and fix it by buying the 2 parts, total with shipping about $100. When we replaced them it still didn't work so looking at YouTube the most common reason for no heat is a purple wire that runs to the dryer element it is SO common GE makes a $20 dollar kit to fix it. Put the kit in and works fine now. How could a specialist not know that? How could a diagnostic program not detect no power to the heat element? I have tried to think of an excuse why they would not see the broken wire hanging down or be aware of the most common cause but I do not see how it was not deliberate attempt to overcharge. I also checked the function of the thermistors we replaced with a multimeter according to GE instructions and they were fine so we still wasted $100 for unnecessary parts. The only issue was the $20 wire. If they would have said $200 to replace the wire i would have said go ahead.

My dryer took several cycles to properly dry clothes. Joe said it was the airflow issue and recommended having the dryer duck and the dryer vent interior cleaned. I agreeed to only have the duck cleaned. It was done in less than 15 minutes. I paid $161.29 expecting the duck to be cleaned. After service, the dryer continued to have same issue and overheating. I decided to remove the hose to look inside the duck from the interior entrance and exterior exit to outside myself. It was clear, the duck was inadequately cleaned. I then spent 3 hours cleaning the duck myself and discovered the blockage caused by large amount of lint and debris of bird’s nest have been shoved so far into the wall instead of pulling it out. Because the device used during cleaning was a long metal fork like stick. No vacuum, no dusting wand, no towels, no water, no cleaning product, just the long stick! I reached out via email hoping for a refund and resolution, but I was told there will be no refund because it’s possible the built up of lint, debris and birds nest happened in the period of 3 weeks after he performed the service. So, let’s the photos speak for themselves. Please use your own judgement if this is the type of business you want to trust to take care of you with honesty and integrity.
