Appliance Repair reviews in San Antonio, Texas

My refrigerator stopped working so I called My Repairman to see what was going on. Fantastic work on Alex's part: he was professional and he was very thorough on his diagnostic of the issue. It turned out to be the exact issue I thought it was (but couldn't confirm without the tools that I will be buying soon) and definitely worth the $55 diagnose fee to have a profession do a once-over on my unit. I know who I'm calling the next time I need work done.

I RARELY do online reviews, however, the experience we have had with My Repairman warrants a review. A BAD REVIEW! I am in the service business and understand that there will be times I cannot completely satisfy my customers. That is why honesty and transparency are your best friend as a service provider. My Repairman does not operate on these values and treat you as a second rate customer if you are not a cash customer. They do not return calls nor do they follow through with what they said they would do. I would buy a new dishwasher before calling this company ever again. There are plenty of good appliance repair companies in San Antonio, My Repairman is not one of them.

I am usually very skeptical of repair companies, especially when using a home warranty. I was pleasantly surprised of the promptness, on time, and knowledge of the repairman, George. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and educational regarding the repair of my dishwasher. I was kept abreast of the appointment times, and the process. Would recommend Mr Repairman based on my single experience.

My Repairman ENT INC, truly was the best experience we could have asked for. Unfortunately, we were hit with multiple water issues (washing machine and toilet), that caused flooding throughout the house. I was able to contact My Repairman late in the evening, and have the first available appointment the following morning. Our handyman, Alex, was on-time, professional and most importantly knowledgeable on the tasks at hand. He quickly resolved the washing machine issue and was able to identify our toilet problems as well. You never know what to expect when you are forced to call outside assistance, but I was thankful to have an honest and trustworthy company such as My Repairman. I will be calling again if needed, and hope to share more referrals!

We have used My Repairman many times in the past few years. Reliable, competent, and very reasonably priced! Linda is fantastic and gets appointments within hours or a day. We have had George Sr and George Jr and both have diagnosed and repaired our appliances quickly. They are the BEST!

We had a leaking appliance and My Repairman was out immediately the next day. They were very professional and helpful when it came to giving us all of our options. I appreciate that they were not pushy and gave us all options and their recommendations and why. Highly recommended then for any repair needs. This was our second time using them and we will continue to only use them.

My Repairman has been our go to source for servicing our GE side by side refrigerator for years. Both George Sr and his son George Jr have worked on our refrigerator. They always contact me when they are on their way to our home for the appointment. They are polite, professional and always answer my questions and explain the problem and how it was fixed. Their repair fees are very reasonable. I absolutely recommend them to anyone needing appliance work.

This is my third time using My Repairman (various appliances, all 10+ years old) and every experience has been fantastic! George and his son are very fast, professional, and clean up everything before they leave. He explained the problem completely, had all the parts and tools necessary for the job, and got right to work. This company was recommended to me by a friend who had used them twice (A/C and dishwasher) so I was very confident in calling them.

We've called My Repairman on numerous occasions to fix our appliances. Everyone involved with this company is very professional and honest, which is hard to find these days. I recently called them to check on our dishwasher. The receptionist was very accommodating, and even though they were busy, they were able to put me on the schedule for that same day. Each technician that has come to our house has been very knowledgeable, helpful, and took their time to explain to me what the issue was and if a part was needed. They're always dependable, and I will continue to call them year after year for any of my appliance needs.

Just had our refrigerator fixed a few minutes ago. Was very happy with the service. They gave us a time frame between 8am-1pm for the repairman to arrive. Mr. George arrived before 11am. He was very nice, professional and accommodating. He explained everything in detail. I would avail of the company's services in the future and will recommend them in a heartbeat. It's a good thing I gave them a chance even after reading the bad reviews. Keep up the good work Mr. George and God bless!

This place is awesome! I was a little leery because their overall Google score is not that great but they had 156 positive reviews on NextDoor and since they were able to come out the same day I called I gave them a try. I had a washer that would shut down during its cycle and when I was able to get the door unlocked it was full of dirty water. George came out and said all it likely needed was a water pump cleaning so I only got charged a $75 trip charge and $25 to clean the water pump. Many other companies would have told me I needed a new pump or something else to get more money out of me and I would have believed them. I have used the washer several times since and it is working great. So it’s refreshing to know that there still honest repair people out there and I will definitely give them a call again the next time I need an appliance repaired.

Great guys! Quick and efficient service. :)

If I Could give 0 I would!!! They have not done right in training their techs and have horrible customer service! Good luck trying to get someone to help you!!!
-
The most unprofessional technicians you will encounter. Run away from this business as quickly as you can. You will regret having any work done with them.

A nightmare repair job was handled by Nick. He stuck with it, kept me informed, showed up every time and got me a resolution that was much better than expected. Old school service technician. Thanks Nick!

Worst customer service, the rating they have is legitimate. They want to schedule it the day they do the service but you don't know the time until they call you that day at 10am and then they provide a 2 hour window. They refuse to set up that 2 hour window in advance, well we all have jobs and family and that just won't due. Get with the times NISI! Their resolution... Call another provider, ok will do and done! Your loss ✌️

Trying to get NISI USA to communicate or even show up is almost impossible. They only communicate via text and when an appointment date and/or time is set, they don’t show up. The lack of care for the customer is shocking. They must get paid by Samsung whether or not they work.
-
If I could rate this zero stars I would. 3 attempts have been made to have a technician from the San Antonio location come out to fix my ice maker from Samsung and despite confirming all appointments, the technician fails to show up, I can't reach customer support in the San Antonio office because no one answers the phone and it's going on 3 months now. Even when Samsung calls to assist, they get nothing either.

So on Sunday night, my older (7 years at this point) refrigerator had a high temperature - it's set to 8 degrees and it was up to around 40 at one point. I moved all the stuff out and frantically googled to find someone to come take a look at it - okay, these guys are recommended by Samsung, who I've always had a pretty good experience with (more on that in a moment). I called their offices Sunday to make an appointment - but of course, they're out of the office. No big deal.
So I call back on Monday. They're still out of the office - well okay, it's MLK Jr. Day, but it would have been nice if they had updated their phone system to reflect that. But whatever - no big deal. So I hop on the internet and find their website and 'self schedule' - inputting everything except the serial number (which is behind fridge, pressed against the wall). I think nothing of it - their form asks for address, phone number, email address, and preferred method of contact.
Today is Wednesday and I hadn't heard anything. So I pick up the phone and call. After waiting for their call center, then being transferred to the local shop, then waiting for the local shop, I finally get to talk to a 'service rep' who tells me that she's texted me 'several times' and that they need my serial number in order to...order parts? When they haven't even been by to assess the fridge? Also, this won't be a surprise - the text she sent immediately after the phone call came through, but these 'previous texts' never came through.
So if they're going to order parts sight unseen, they should be able to quote how much the repair is going to cost, right? Or, as I would have preferred - COME ASSESS MY FRIDGE AND TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG! I will happily pay for a service call *even if you don't do the repair.* But apparently they won't come by unless they can first get me to commit to a $800 repair.
At this point I think I'd prefer to spend $2,000 and buy another refrigerator. And although I'm a Samsung loyalist (laptop, TV, refrigerator, washer, dryer) I think I might look outside the brand - my first experience with Samsung appliance repair hasn't been great.
