Excellent and timely work. Jesse was able to diagnose the issue with our dryer rather quickly and even had a replacement part on hand. He even showed me the faulty part. Very honest and tidy work. Will definitely be using Mr. Appliance in the future for our repairs.

Daniel was punctual, polite and did a great job. Mr. Appliances will get all my future calls.

technician from Mr. Appliance spent most (all) of his time looking into computer and taking on the phone.
He absolutely didn't know how to fix vent hood.
Finally, I jumped on my ladder with a flashlight and figured it out.
    I fixed connections.
    No help from Mr. Appliance.

Mr. Appliance was very fast and efficient. Our technician, Daniel, was able to diagnose and fix the problem with our refrigerator/freezer within 30 minutes. Daniel was nice, polite, and more importantly, proficient. Thank you for such fast service, we will call again if we have an appliance issue.

I hired them to come out to fix a washing machine that stopped working. The initial appointment set up and communication/punctuality from the tech was great. The tech told me what was wrong, gave me the price of almost $500 to fix it, charged me, and said he’d get parts ordered and the office would reach out to schedule. A week passed and I hadn’t heard back, so I had to call them and then they came out the next day.

On their second visit with the parts, the tech determined that it was actually something else that was broken and they would need another $500+ to fix the new problem he found. Now it was going to be over $1000 to fix this ~10 year old washer (which could just be replaced for hundreds less).

At this point I looked at the original invoice from the first visit and realized that they had also over charged me from the price that tech told me (and that he’d written in his notes). I called them and told them that not only was I over-charged, but that I was now $500 in the hole and did not have an operable washer. They told me that they wanted to make it right, and that I’d get a call the next morning with an update. I never got a call back. I just looked at my credit card statement and found that they had refunded a portion of what they had already charged me, but still kept about $200. They charged me $200 to come out to misdiagnose the issue and leave me without a washer for weeks.

Giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because they communicated the appointment visits well and showed up on time.

Our part was ordered and ended up being the wrong one. The technician made a phone call, went and picked up the correct part and had it installed within 30 minutes. I highly recommend this company.

The response was good and the technician Martin was great.....the only downside is that I approved the repair.....it was completed......but after 2 weeks and countless attempts I still can not get a recpt. for services preformed. This is needed so I can reconcile and be able to bill back my customer (North Star Mall).

After speaking with the office the email address was incorrect in the system....since corrected.

Our fridge ran into some issues one morning, so decided to give Mr. Appliance a try after seeing all the high reviews here. Well, total disappointment! First of all, our tech, Matt was unfriendly and moody on the day, but we were desperate to get our fridge fixed, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt as he may have had a bad day or something. Upon leaving, Matt left our fridge with the power cable half dangling and exposed behind a crookedly screwed-on access panel! And also left a screw on the floor for me to figure out where that goes!! My goodness, I'm still mad that I had to pay a $120 fee for such a terrible, dangerous, and unprofessional service! It was my bad for not checking his poor quality work, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and trusted him. I thought about calling him back, but I just didn't want to deal with his moodiness and poor workmanship again. After he left, I had to pull the fridge out and open the panel myself to fix his stupid mistakes. Mr. Appliance, you guys really need to train Matt to be more professional at his job and how to be more attentive with customers!

Updated review: Had to change my review from 5 stars to 2. When he came it worked fine, but I don't think the testing was thorough enough, he should've tested multiple factors because the very next day the washer had the same error message. They scheduled to come fix it again which was a Friday, but then got tied up and told me it would be Monday. I couldn't wait any longer and bought a new Washer, and cancelled the Monday appointment. So now I feel like I spent consultation fee and a diagnostic fee for nothing (almost 1/3 of a price of a new washer).

Original review: Although the prices are a bit higher than what I am used to, my issue was solved in a prompt manner (needed to fix washer). Daniel, the service technician sent to my home, was extremely competent and honest. I trust him, and that says a lot about a business. I would request him again should anything else pop up. So while you can probably find someone on fb marketplace to get the job done, the chances of them flaking, not doing it right, being unreliable, are much more of a headache than going with a franchise. Also, their 90 day warranty should anything happen helps justify the price. The repair was cheaper than buying a new one, so I am content.

I called Mr. appliance to see if they could replace my glass on my cooktop. They refused to look up the model to see if it could be replaced. They said I had to book them to come out. I paid them $130 to show up for 5 minutes and tell me the cooktop is discontinued and can’t replace the glass. I then asked if they could install a new one and credit me the $130 I paid for the service call towards installation. They said they would do that. I then called back to schedule installation of my new cooktop and now they are telling me that they don’t install cooktops. Total scam. Avoid this company, they are dishonest.

Mr.Appliance was easy to work with. From the first call I made, there was a real person there to provide the information I needed, answer questions and schedule my appt. The technician, Mat, diagnosed my oven issue quickly and installed the original equipment replacement part promptly. He was friendly, knowledgable, and professional. I would call them in the future when I need an appliance repair.

The technician Daniel was professional, arrived on time, and correctly diagnosed the issue with my Samsung front-load washer. However, they quoted me $520 to replace the main control board, plus the $130 service call. I decided to order the part myself from ShopJimmy for $65 and swapped it out in about 20 minutes. While I appreciate the correct diagnosis, their pricing felt extremely high for a relatively simple fix. If you’re not comfortable doing the repair yourself, they may be an option, but I’d recommend shopping around for pricing before committing to the repair. Also, if I’m paying basically $130 for some advice, I would appreciate including the part numbers suggested on the quote.

Our first experience with their NE San Antonio office was very good. Had a broken coil on a 30 year old electric stove replaced. Problem with burner box. Great communication. Punctual. Knowledgeable. Will use them again.

Update 2, after writing this review I received a phone call from the manager. He was very nice and professional, unlike the other staff I’d spoken to thus far. He sent out an actual tech that knew what they were doing that evaluated the issue and repaired. Three stars though because this experience has been so laborious.

Update, I’ve called twice to discuss this issue with them and have yet to speak to anyone.

This company is a chain and feels like a major scam. I had them come out to check on an appliance. The tech did nothing, just looked at the machine I had already pulled out from the wall, decided it was something (and was wrong) then I pushed it back in. They then charged me almost $300 rather than the $75 trip charge. I had two appliances for them to look at and the same with the other one except this time, he damaged my floors and replaced a clamp that had fallen off and I had waiting. Just call the manufacturers tech, don’t waste time with these uneducated techs. Better yet, YouTube it, you can likely fix it yourself.

Mat the service professional arrived on time and was very courteous and knowledgeable. He went right to work and quickly diagnosed the problem and completed the repair in under 30 minutes! Mat answered all my questions and left the work area clean and tidy! We are pleased!

I have used them for more than 10 years, repairing my dishwasher, coffee maker, and refrigerator. I was satisfied with their service until recently. However, it is now clear that their good technicians have left and the six that remain are not nearly as skilled. We had six visits by three technicians to try to repair our Subzero refrigerator without success. One of the three "had no clue". For another, I had to demand that he speak to a Subzero representative, because he clearly did not understand the problem. This was after he installed a $100 part I didn't need. Seeing him struggle to even understand what the Subzero representative was telling him was the final straw. I had told the gentleman that answered the phone to send someone else, but he clearly ignored my request. My days using Mr. Appliance are over.

I was referred by another repair service that didn’t handle Freon. They were originally just supposed to measure Freon in our fridge and refill if needed. In that first visit I was told the Freon was okay and they proceeded to tell me we had a different issue. Many, and I mean MANY service calls later our fridge is worse off and I am tired of being charged for very expensive new parts every time they come out. Our waterline and ice maker were working before they started “repairing” things and now we can’t get water from our fridge. Oh, they did have to refill the Freon by the way… I just had to ask them to check it again on the 5th+ service call. It feels like I got scammed out of my time and money.
