I called Allstate Appliance Repair because my washer was full of water and wouldn’t start. The technician came the same day, spent about 10 minutes looking at it, and quoted me $250 for the repair. I decided not to fix it and offered the washer to him for $40 to cover the diagnostic fee. He countered with $20, which I reluctantly agreed to. However, it took him three days to come back and pick it up.

When his son arrived to collect the washer, he was here for less than 3 minutes, drained the water, and got the machine working before loading it onto the truck. I can’t help but feel scammed and taken advantage of. They clearly knew the machine wasn’t a major issue but tried to profit anyway. This type of business practice is incredibly disappointing. For that, I’m leaving them a well-deserved 1-star review.

Disappointing Service Experience and Unreliable Appliance:

I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received regarding a refrigerator purchased from this company. After only seven months of ownership, the refrigerator's compressor failed.

The owner/technician Miguel, visited the home and charged us a service fee. During his visit, he attempted to blame the cat for damaging the compressor, a claim I found highly questionable. Despite my concerns, Miguel repeatedly tried to sell us a new refrigerator, which I declined given the poor experience with the current appliance.

When I brought up the one-year warranty I believed we had, Miguel stated he would look into the situation and call me back within an hour or two. He never returned my call, which I found misleading and unprofessional.

Thankfully, I contacted the refrigerator's brand manufacturer directly. They sent a technician free of charge, who informed us that the compressor appeared to have been previously tampered with, potentially causing the damage. This explanation is far more plausible than Miguel's assertion about the cat.

Given this experience, I do not plan on purchasing any more appliances from your company, nor can I recommend your services to others.

definitely would not buy from them! the first stove that I got from them the biggest burner did not work which was fine. I contacted mike and he never wanted to answer and when he did he stated that he was going to get the part it would be about four days a month later after me continuously texting him and calling him for updates he tells me he can replace my stove I paid for a nice newer stove and he replaced the one he gave me with an older version and he didn't even come out himself he sent somebody else he didn't refund me any of the money since he gave me an older version either very bad service

Didn’t fix the problem. It was lint build up not outlet replacement charged around $250 for a mere dryer outlet replacement that was not needed. They are dishonest, focused solely on money. not knowledgeable. Would not recommend.

Mike is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and is willing to go the extra mile when necessary! Due to a part delivery delay, Mike was willing to sacrifice his family time and come repair our fridge at 8:00 p.m. in addition to the repair time, his driving time was 1 hour each way. I think his price of $85.00 to diagnose an appliance is very reasonable and he always tries to respond asap. I have referred Mike to several others who have been happy with his service and I will continue to refer him!

Amazing service ! Quick and responsive. They called me back like they said they would and showed up when they said. He fixed our kenmore washer which saved us a good chunk of money because we didn’t have to buy a new set. I will definitely recommend Allstate appliance repair to everyone. This is one company that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone I just got ripped off with 240.00 dollars. my dryers elements went out so i called this company to come and fix it. The dryer worked good for a week and then stopped working again so I called the owner multiple times and text him didn’t get an answer until the following day. By the time I had already called another company which were able to confirm that the part that this company had put to my dryer was used and because of the my timer stopped working and the thermostat . you can see in the picture below that the part that he put was not new . how is it that a brand new part is going to look like that from Memorial Day to now ? But I learn my lesson not to trust companies that have no integrity. People please be careful this is one company that I will not use or recommend!

Talk about quick, fast, and efficient! My washer went out and within the hour I called this company from a Google map search. Spoke to the gentleman and he was here within 2 hours! He told me the issue - quoted me, got the part and within 30 minutes my washer was running again 🙌🏽. Service was on point and the tech was very friendly! Keeping their number for the next time!
