Went through Greenstar to have my solar system installed. They were the fourth or fifth company I got a quote from, and they blew all the others out of the water. We ended up getting a larger system than the other companies which claimed we would "pay almost nothing on our electric" with a tiny 6.5kw system. Meanwhile, the system that Greenstar quoted us is about 25% larger than the other companies and we're still a tiny bit out of pocket on electric every month. They're an honest company, which is more than can be said for a lot of these solar salesmen. Ask for Ryan!

From the very beginning of working with Greenstar power we have been very satisfied. They are responsive but not only that our bill has been consistent and our payment is better than we thought it would be. We love the service we received. Great company and staff. My sales guy was Bryce and he was very professional and helpful. The installation took a little longer than my buddies but my install got caught between the holidays. My panels are up and running and overall I'm happy. Glad I made the decision to go Green.

Bryce Combs was fantastic to work with. I really don’t understand the poor reviews. Maybe bad employees? Bryce Combs explained everything. We got a rebate from the company and CPS, 30% tax credit for 2022 taxes. We produce so much Solar, I wish we had a backup battery. We keep our house at 71-73 during the day, 70-68 at night, run a small air purifier, pool equipment, normal utilities and our highest summer bill was $210. I highly recommend Bryce and Greenstar. We haven’t had a single issue since it was installed.

At first I was a reluctant buyer because I wasn’t very sure. Nate was extremely professional, responsive, and answered EVERY question I had, no matter day or time. He promised to be available at sale, and he has kept his promise. I am not too savvy on technical things, and I received emails stating that my system wasn’t connected to my wifi. I contacted Nate asking for help, and he showed up at my house to help me within 15 minutes! Wow! Now that is premium service and staying true to your word to be available. It’s been an easy transition just knowing that after the sale was complete, I wasn’t abandoned to fend for myself. Nate’s customer service is Golden. I recommend Greenstar Power to all who are looking to get solar panels and/or even a generator.

This review is long overdue but working with Tyler Johnson with Greenstar Power was a good experience from start to finish. Tyler to this day answers my messages if I have questions and its been almost 3 years since my solar was installed. I recommend Greenstar for your solar solutions. My only regret would be not getting a battery as the ice storm put us without power for 3 days. I’d definitely look into the battery if it’s a option.

Chad was an excellent salesperson. He explained the process well and kept in touch throughout the installation. Greenstar sent emails during each stage and worked with CPS to get my panels installed. Everything was activated in about 3 weeks. I am happy with my purchase.

I just purchased a new home in Forney, Texas, and asked my neighbor about their solar panels. They provided Nick Berges my information and he immediately contacted me and gave me a very detailed explanation on the solar installation process. I had so many questions, but he answered all of them and anytime throughout the day. Out of a few solar energy companies I looked into, I chose Green Star because of Nick's professionalism and excellent customer service. He has been available every step of the process and I praise his responsiveness and effectiveness in problem resolution. I highly recommend Nick if you are trying to look into solar. A+

Greenstar has been a power house of electricity since installation. Up front cost, professional sales representative (Blaine), no hidden fees. The installation was done super quick and very professional look. The San Antonio Greenstar Power has my most utmost respect. The team far exceeded my expectations in all aspects. We worked with Bobby and he was very honest and straightforward. He worked around us and our power usage to determine how many panels we needed. Never pushy about anything. He helped us with getting us a very low to no CPS bill. He also is very passionate about what he does for the company to the point where you can tell that he's not in it for the money, he just really loves to help people. Overall, I have no complaints, concerns or doubts about anything that Bobby did for us.

Owner threatened to put lien on house.

Originally the sales people were very friendly. One was pushy, but friendly. I signed a contract with them about a month and a half ago to provide services on July 1, 2021, however was in need to cancel services as something came up. I called through three individuals to get to someone who could help me cancel services for the solar panels and finally spoke with Eric Bowman I believe his name was. Right off the bat from his tone I knew he tried hard to keep customers locked into their deal. He mentioned there was a $2,000 fee to cancel. I said that was really expensive and couldn’t pay that full amount. I also checked my contract with them after the call and discovered a $2,000 cancellation fee was not stated. I offered to pay for the permits. His offer back was to pay $1,000 and leave a detailed 5-star review. I found this to be very sketchy. I offered to pay for the funds used for acquiring permits again (~$300) but he was set on the $1,000 cancellation fee and detailed 5-star review. Reiterating: This was my first time hearing about the $2,000 cancellation fee, again was not in the contract, but hadn’t known this at the time of the call. Because of this “fee” I said I would no longer like to cancel services but would like to postpone the installation indefinitely. Eric from Greenstar Power got very heated and threatened to put a lien on my home if I didn’t take their solar panels and hung up. I called the city to confirm he could not actually do this and get away with it. I also called a broker who sells for multiple solar companies to get his opinion and the broker has never heard of a ridiculous $2,000 fee to cancel. The broker stated you can normally cancel free of charge as long as the services have not been performed. The broker also mentioned he could cover 100% of my energy usage for a fraction of the cost where Greenstar Power would’ve covered ~70%. They seem to be a very small company trying to grow extremely rapidly. I asked to the city to cancel our application so they cannot legally put up solar panels on my house leaving me stuck with their business.

Jeremie and the Staff at Greenstar Power have been awesome to work with throughout the process of installing our Solar Panels and any follow-up actions! We are happy we had the panels installed and any questions or concerns have been addressed promptly to our satisfaction and peace of mind! I would highly recommend Greenstar Power!!

Before we chose Greenstar, we had met with several other solar installers. Greenstar was the only one that didn't make us feel pressured into giving them a sale. We worked with Bryce and Nate and they were very patient and accommodating with us.

Everything Greenstar was responsible for, they delivered. Design, installation, and support have all been great experiences. As an added bonus, they went out of their way to share our SolarEdge API key with us for home automation integration.

So far I'm very happy with Greenstar power! Tye, our sales rep, walked us through the whole process, and answered all our questions. The installation was smooth and I couldn't be happier with how low my electricity bill is each month. If you're in San Antonio, I highly recommend Tye and Greenstar Power!
