Sean came out to determine needs and quickly provided me with a quote which indicated the work that was to be done. A couple of days later the crew came out to do the work. They did a good job and made sure everything was cleaned before they left. Thank you for the quick response and work.

I recently hired San Antonio Tree Surgeons to trim my oak trees. First experience with them. Their estimate was much higher than other smaller companies' offers. I accepted to pay more, expecting to get a top quality experience from A to Z.

Their guys did not do a bad job. However, there was just nothing special/superior to justfy such a gap in price. The workers' truck was bigger than the one I saw with previous teams. That's all.

I am not impressed by the administrative team either. The job was done on Friday. I received the invoice on Monday. I planned to pay within 2 or 3 days. I always pay my bills on time.

On Tuesday, I received a text message and an email about the "numerous" reminders I received to pay my bill.!!!!!

I’ve interacted with at least three different arborists from San Antonio Tree Surgeons, and every one of them has been kind, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest. The crews they send out do great work and really know what they’re doing. That said, over the last 3–6 months, the office staff has seemed unorganized and not well-informed. Communication has been confusing at times, and it doesn’t feel like they’re on the same page as the arborists. I’m still giving 5 stars because the quality of the on-site service has been excellent, but I do think the office team could benefit from some additional training and coordination.

San Antonio Tree Surgeons did an outstanding job! They were prompt, professional, and efficient in addressing all our tree care needs, including pruning, removal, and tree cabling. We truly appreciated the 5% military discount, which shows their support for service members. The team, both in the office and on-site, were a pleasure to work with—courteous, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. The services were completed quickly and seamlessly, with everything cleaned up perfectly afterward. We'll absolutely be using them again for future tree services. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch service!

I had them come out to diagnose and treat a live oak with black tar spot. Priscilla (arborist) was extremely knowledgeable, patient with my questions, kind, and professional. The gentleman who came out to do the injection was also knowledgeable, kind, patient (although I didn't pester him much), and professional. He allowed me to watch him work. Quite a fascinating process! Thank you so much, for everything! I will definitely be calling you out to manicure my live oak from here on out!

Paul and the team that he sent out to trim the trees on my property ( a 50 year old Arizona Ash and a 40 year old Live Oak) did an outstanding job on both trees, which had different needs. The crew was prompt, polite, and went above and beyond. I am pretty picky and I was very impressed with the excellent quality of their work.

I called the main office and was able to speak with Crystal who was very professional personable and just a pleasure to talk with. She set me up with Priscilla, who came immediately out to my house and did the estimate. The price for the scope of work was phenomenal. They scheduled me for yesterday, October 21 and the crew showed up, gave me an overview of what they were going to do, and got straight to work. They were fast efficient and their teamwork was amazing. They did a great job. I highly recommend San Antonio tree surgeons for any of your tree trimming needs. You will not be sorry.

My experience with this company as a whole was nothing less than exceptional. Priscilla came out and walked my property and answered all 107 of my questions. She has the best personality and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The quote I got was very fair and the work completed was above my expectations. The crews that came out were very courteous, friendly, professional, and efficient. Lastly, Crystal with the home office was an excellent communicator throughout the process.

I know who to call the next time we need our trees trimmed. Such an amazing experience and results that it was well worth the investment.

I’ve used San Antonio Tree Surgeons for trimming my Heritage oak trees at my primary residence and some good size oak trees at my rental house in North San Antonio and it can tell you this is the most knowledgeable tree service company I’ve dealt with. The owner and his arborist are all veterans of the industry and make what I think are big issues into manageable treatments.
I will use this company for all of my future tree treatments and trimming jobs.

Great service all around! An arborist was able to come out and give me a quote to trim some trees and check on the health of the trees for free. He was very responsive and we were able to book for just a couple days later. The workers were professional and very good at what they do. Highly recommend if you want a great professional job!

Great service made an appointment online, rep come out the next day, explained what was needed minor tree trimming with front yard Oak tree, also neighbor tree was getting an little to close to my home,also a stubborn tree stump, was placed on the schedule within 3 days crew of (6) techs arrived at home to complete job tasks at hand. Quick an efficient getting the job done also did housekeeping before leaving home great job!!

San Antonio Tree Surgeons did a great job. My home is zero lot line, and my neighbor's tree had a big branch and smaller one hanging over my roof. I was nervous about them bring it down safely and not damaging my roof, but they did a great job! Enough to earn a job from my neighbor too. They trimmed four other trees including taking down another large branch in my back yard. They chipped up all the branches and cleaned up all the twigs and leaves. Very happy with the job!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! PLEASE READ ———The company was responsive UNTIL I was locked into a contract. I spoke at length/in-person at my property with the assigned arborist about my desire to simultaneously remove a young oak and plant the same size and type of tree (to match the second young oak in my front yard). I even asked him to take a picture of the second oak so it would be easier to match. The arborist did not include a replacement tree on my estimate, and I was only added to the schedule for tree stump grinding. When the arborist realized I was only on the schedule for stump grinding he called me and said, “I thought you wanted the tree removed and a new one planted on the same visit”. That was correct, but then he acted like we didn’t discuss tree type and size during his visit because he asked for this information all over again. Fast forward, a crew came out and were simply able to pull this tree (that hadn’t taken root) from the ground and plant a new one in its place. I’m not an expert, but it doesn’t look like they found/planted the same type of tree to me. The new tree’s leaves have red in them. My second oak in the front yard (and third oak in my back yard) only have green in their leaves. This isn’t even the worst part! Nearly TWO WEEKS after the work was completed, I got a text saying that I was on the schedule for tree stump grinding! I told them the work had already been completed nearly two weeks ago, but I was never billed, nor was I provided with any kind of instructions on how to care for this newly planted tree. I was promptly sent a bill but no instructions on how to care for the tree (i.e., how often to water). I requested instructions again and was told that my arborist would call me. However, after initial communication with the arborist did not go so well, I requested written instructions of care/watering. The company sent written instructions saying that I should water the tree for 45 minutes the day after it was planted!!! This information is two weeks too late!!!! Guess now we will just see if the company lives by their planting warranty in the event that this tree dies.

I called San Antonio Tree Surgeons and they were out the very next day to give me a quote. They were able to do my entire yard—front and back—the following day in just a couple of hours! As a first-time homeowner, I was really happy with the quick, professional service and how great everything looked afterward. Highly recommend!

Service was great. Price was a lot less than expected. 2 visits under $165.00. Saved a very large tree. They are on my good list. You won't regret calling these folks. Trust me.
