If I could give 10 stars instead of 5, I would. Wright Home Services was outstanding from start to finish.

They replaced all three of my AC units and finally resolved a long-standing cooling and air-balancing issue that multiple other companies failed to fix. Three other providers tried, gave up, and recommended adding a split unit as a workaround. James at Wright Home Services didn’t take the easy way out. He identified a smarter solution using the existing equipment with minor modifications at the plenum — and voilà: balanced air.

What really sets Wright Home Services apart is that they went above and beyond what they were hired to do — at no extra charge:

Repaired a broken UV treatment system

Patched a hole in existing ductwork

All of these issues had been ignored by my previous service provider.

Knowing we were approaching the holidays, Wright Home Services made sure we’d have a Merry Christmas. They sent three highly skilled crews and completed the installation of three AC units in a single day — which is impressive by any standard.

Special recognition to Thomas, Joe, and Steve, the team leads. They ran the project like a military operation — attack and conquer. Efficient, organized, professional, and clearly experts at what they do.

Wright Home Services earned my trust and my highest recommendation. If you’re dealing with HVAC issues — especially complex airflow or balancing problems — call them first.

I purchased a one-year maintenance plan that was supposed to include two service visits with routine maintenance. In reality, the only actual service ever performed was a quick hose rinse on the exterior unit. Everything else was labeled as an “inspection.”

During both visits, I was told my system was low on R-410A refrigerant, yet they could not tell me how low it was and were unable (or unwilling) to top it off. Instead, each visit turned into a sales pitch explaining that my indoor unit was “going out,” followed by multiple quotes for full system replacements. The estimates ranged from $10,000 to $16,000, not including warranties, which were another $1,000–$2,000.

It became very clear that the goal of these visits was to sell me a new AC system, not to maintain the one I had. I ended up getting a second opinion from a smaller local company, who simply rebooted my outdoor unit and topped off the refrigerant. My system has worked properly since.

In total, I spent about $200 for two visits that amounted to sales calls. Wright even followed up by phone shortly after to see if I wanted to move forward with a new installation. I told them I was no longer interested and requested that my annual plan not be renewed. Despite this, I had to call again to ensure auto-renew was actually canceled—because it wasn’t the first time.

I strongly recommend getting a second or even third opinion if you deal with Wright Services. They clearly operate as a sales-driven company, which is fine—but they should not be trusted for honest service or routine HVAC maintenance.

Had another fabulous experience with The Wright team! Mandy is always so quick to respond to email and phone call- her customer services is too notch! James came and helped check an issue and then since he was here went above and beyond doing a routine check and service! I love this company!

Wanted to say thank you to Steve first of all for helping us out with our new AC system. Jason for coming out here and looking at what we had and helping us figure out what we needed in our home. He was very helpful in telling us what other things could be added and looked at details we may not have, he really knows his stuff and his experience shows that. He even came out after the installers to make sure everything looked good and up to his standards of expertise. Jacob and JJ thank you for the installation process and the tidiness. They were able to get us up in running in 6hrs from start to finish. Everything looks nice and tidy from their work. Really appreciate all of you for your help and getting us cool air in this hot Texas heat. Would highly recommend these guys for their work, experience and professionalism.

Had Wright AC services come and give my 5 year old unit a good checkup Though unit is fairly new- the ductwork was not replaced previously there may consider one of the 3 options James Moore quoted me -

At this time unit checks out and is warming well - so it’s something I need to consider for the near future

I cannot say enough about the exceptional service provided by Wright AC Services and especially James Moore. Late at night, when most companies would have told us to wait until the morning, James answered the call without hesitation and drove over an hour to help us. From the moment he arrived, he was one of the nicest, most professional, and most knowledgeable people you could ask for.

He thoroughly inspected our system, explained every detail in a way we could understand, and went above and beyond to make sure the issue was fully resolved. Our system had been repeatedly tripping the breaker, and James quickly identified a serious problem with the electrical breaker box that could have turned into a safety hazard. Not only did he fix the immediate issue, but he also applied protective measures (like noalox electrical gel and proper tightening of connections) to ensure the system was safe moving forward.

What stood out most was his dedication—he treated our situation as if it were his own home, ensuring we weren’t just “patched up” but genuinely safe. Wright AC Services is lucky to have someone like James on their team. If you want true professionalism, reliability, and expertise, look no further.

Ian arrived earlier than scheduled, which actually worked out great for us. I called and was able to get a more specific ETA via text. He was polite and professional, took care of the clogged pipe, and answered all our questions. He even offered us a recommendation for a drain cleaner to prevent a repeat of the issue. Pricing was very reasonable, especially compared to quotes from other companies.
I expect to call Drainworks for future issues thanks to their service and reasonable pricing.

Brayden did a great job. Showed up on time. Tried twice to use the auger to clear the clean out. When that didn't work he immediately called for the jetter team. He wouldn't quit until he solved my issue. He took doing the job to completion personally. I appreciate that dedication. Julian showed with the jetter and they sorted things out. Great team.

Jim, the technician that came out here was super nice, very thorough and detail oriented. He told me what needed to be done, reassured me that none of it was urgent, but if it was him, he would have it done sooner rather than later. He emailed me pictures and prices so that I could figure out taking care of the issues. I highly recommend these people. The service is great, and the pricing is reasonable.

Tech was amazing for customer service but was late by 1 hour and dispatch office DID NOT CONTACT me for updates as advised. Also the inspection was not what I thought it was just more visual than really looking at plumbing in details like I've seen from other companies. I may or may not use this company again first impressions was subpar at best.

Kenny performed our hvac checkup and did an outstanding job. He was very thorough, took pics, and explained all his findings with a sit down discussion. He was amenable to questions during the process as well. We are very happy with the maintenance contract initiated.

We had our first visit from Air & Drain works today and I appreciate how knowledgeable Jim Bell is. There are some issues with our AC that were brought to our attention that our previous service provider overlooked. The report today was detailed and easy to understand. We look forward to having Air & Drain Works continue to be our ac service provider.

I had a professional outdoor venue two weeks ago in a parking lot. Both the location and time of year not my idea. I had to find a way to survive but did not have time to mess with it myself. I rented 3 large portable air coolers and two small generators. Combined with tents, it turned the asphalt hell’s cape into a nice 80 degree feel that made outside rather pleasant. Cannot say enough good things about Jerry. He took this problem off my plate and did it all. This is a turn key operation. I told him locations and times and he made it happen. I will definitely use them in the future. Great solution for any outdoor venue.

Of course our AC system went out in our business in the hottest summer on record. To make matters worse, the world seems to be backsliding into some serious supply chain issues. The parts needed for our system were quoted at 2-4 months in backorder. We reached out to Preferred Climate Solutions and Jerry was here within the hour to assess the situation. We had working solutions installed by 9am the next day. These guys are next level professionals. This saved our entire summer.
