I have worked with over a dozen hvac contractors and Clint and his team is Prompt, fair priced, and honest. What more could you ask for in an hvac contractor.

I called this company from Michigan for my mom in Bulverde,Texas. I was very happy with the way they treated me long distance and the care and respect they showed for my 80 year old plus mom. I would most definitely recommend them and have reserved their number for any future issues my mom might have.

They came and installed an AC unit. The quote was fair and they could start the next day. They went far beyond the call of duty to get this installation finished. There were issues with the old heating system and the addressed each as it appeared. I would highly recommend this company. Very nice people.

We contacted them (after going through 2 other companies, and not getting a timely or reasonable solution), and they had our AC part replaced and working in less than 24 hours! Family run business that gave great service. Clint came out and we discussed all options for a new system. This was a renovated house that had an old not working HVAC. Clint gave us a price that was very fair and the install was done in a professional manner.

Carne's and Son's is hands down one of the best contractors I've ever had do work for me in San Antonio. They are highly professional from the minute they show up. They were on time and worked quickly to get our AC up and running fast AND right the first time which is important when it's as hot as it is in South Texas. To top off our experience with them we tried to install a new thermostat which sadly was more confusing than we initially thought. Not only did they come to assist us in getting the thermostat issue straightened out they did it free of charge. In a time when you have to be very particular about hiring contractors for various reasons you should not hesitate to hire these gentlemen. Thank y'all so much for bringing back the cold air in the height of summer.

Called in morning to try to get a quote to help my son get a new HVAC system installed. I live out of state and son is in the military so did not have much time to schedule. Clint and his crew replaced the entire system the next day for $2000.00 less than my sons original quote. System is working good and as a kicker, when my son got home he realized he forgot to take the trash to the curb but not to worry, these guys noticed it and did it for him. Payment was easy and hassle free with the link he invoices from. Great customer service. No surprises in invoicing. What he says he will install for is what he charges. I forgot to mention he quoted and billed $150.00 less than his verbal quote

I had my AC go out and I called Clint as he had installed the unit about 3 yrs ago and had given us great service. It ended up not being the AC that was bad, but my wiring from 1977 was done. He called his electrician and the electrician had a crew out the next morning and replaced wiring and the panels. Clint did not charge me for coming out. He came out after hours and spent 30-45 minutes figuring out what was wrong,. he refused to take a payment from me. He also had shown up the day before he was scheduled as he knew we were without AC in these triple digit temperatures we were having. That was great customer and he has my business going forward. When he installed my AC 3 yrs ago he saved me $3500-$4000 on what other companies were quoting me. Good guy and good family.

The Carnes and Sons team installed a unit for me in my Mother In Laws house. Installors were professional, clean, and timely. The pricing was legit. Mr. Carnes really knows his stuff. Wil be using them to replace units in my own home soon.

Clint and family are great 5 stars doesn’t do them justice. They are upfront and honest with great pricing. Installed a complete new system in 1/2 day and made sure it was running great before leaving. I would highly recommend using Carnes And Sons. I can only give you 5 stars here, but I give you 100 stars. Contacting several HVAC Companies, I decide to use Carnes And Sons, a family-owned company, honest recommendations that met my needs (no hard sales) for the installation of new AC & Heating System. Clint and sons arrived at the appointed time, very professional, and courteous from the first correspondent to the finishing of the job. The crew was also just as professional, knowledgeable and courteous and arrived on Monday and installed the system in 4 ½ hours. But ran into a problem with my thermostat connections (original unit over 20+ year old, so was the wiring), but left me with air up and running for the night. Returned the next day to replace wiring in the attic. A late decision on my part to upgrade the thermostat, so Clint came today to install it.

Carnes and Sons and his crew (thank you guys) are hands down one of the best contractors I've ever had to work for me in San Antonio. You get the best price in town and the superior service second to none. They are NOW my first choice for all HVAC repairs.

Top 3 takeaways after using Carne & Sons to replace our interior and exterior central air units:
#1 The knowledge from the first call was helpful in not wasting money because I didn’t know what I needed. I was on the phone with the owner and he was able to give direction as well as offered a free consultation. (other companies were going to charge $85 just to come out)
#2 In person he was informative but low pressure with making a decision. Negotiations were fair and I got a great deal.
#3 It only took 24 hours from the time I said yes, I want a new unit to the time that they were able to remove my old unit and replace it with a new one.

Carnes and Sons installed two units for us. My father called them first as the AC unit in his home failed and they responded with a great HVAC unit at a fair and reasonable price. I verified this after getting several quotes and researching AC units. This is a father and sons business and they and their team provided a high quality installation with top notch follow up. Their follow up service made sure everything was working properly. One month after my father had his HVAC unit installed my 30 year old unit failed so I called the Carnes team and had the same unit installed at my house and received the same great price and service. They also do attic insulation as we got a quote on this too and may have it done also. If you want great service and a fair price provided by an honest man, call Carnes and his sons. Highly recommended by both my father and I.

Just an update. After about couple months after the AC Unit was installed, I bought a new air filter to replaced the clogged one. Turned out the water drain pipe that was installed, blocked the path where the air filter needs to go in and out. After calling Mr. Clint, I was initially responded back as being a wrong customer complaint. After explaining the problem with the pipe blocking the air filter pathway, Mr. Clint said he will find the time to come and fix it. Today is 09/05/2023, over 3 years has passed, still no shows and no fix to the problem. For this, my rating goes down to 3 stars.

Again today is November 8, 2014, still no show and no contact. Rating remains at 3.

This is hands down the best AC company in the San Antonio area. A hidden gem if you ask me, they did great work and Hector was very knowledgeable and walked me through everything after the job was completed,he did a fantastic job. Good service,great value. I highly recommend this company for your HVAC needs.
