I had Clint and his team do 3 jobs in the last 6 weeks and they have provided great customer service. Clint and Randall answered all my questions and were readily available with any issues we had. They even provided us with a loaner wall unit to cool my family down during the transition. Great job would recommend!!

They seem great at first wanting your business but when the unit they put in continues to have problems they don’t want to fix them especially when it’s under warranty. The don’t listen to the customer when there’s the same repeated problem. They also want to continue to charge a service call when they never fixed the problem to begin with.

Follow up: No I have the right company. The installation was done for my mother Helen May. You sent invoices for a service call for maintenance on warranty work and she had to call a dispute. You've made several trips out, had to replace the thermostat, the system AC stops working and you tell me its just clogged. Never really addressing the matter. Now the heat pump hisses and the AUX comes on for heat. The heat runs cold air instead. The unit hasn't quite made a year old yet.

Pricing was competitive or a lot better than other companies for a new unit install. Few issues with installation, but the tech Jesse went out of his way to get it resolved so my AC would be up and running. Around 10 pm, Randy and Clint were on the phone with me, helping diagnose what turned out to be a small issue. Everyone was very friendly and answered all my questions on the phone or through text. Carnes and Sons had my new unit installed on July 4th and overall I am satisfied.

We chose this company out of four that we received bids from on completely replacing our AC/furnace. We are delighted that we did. They were fast and efficient. Hector and Dorian did the installation and were a pleasure to have in our home. The next day two technicians came out to check the system and help with paperwork. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks to Carnes & Sons we are now comfortably cool without a huge bill to pay off.

My two units went out last week and a friend referred me to Carnes and sons, I called Clint and we agreed on the job then he sent Juan and the team next day to replace the two units and have it done in one day. They upgraded my system with top of the line LED purifier… got it installed and working within a few days of initial contact. In 2025, I had an issue and Carnes came out to look into my unit on same day, same hour almost. This company is very professional anf dependable. I recommend to anyone I know that has HVAC needs. Great quality of service and overall great family business with people that care. I highly recommend.

My AC broke on a Friday in August when heat was over 100 degrees! My unit was super old so knew that I wanted a new one. I called and got immediate service from the owner. Since I knew what I needed already, he asked for pictures of the area and current units to get ideas on labor costs. Then he was able to give me a few quotes with different brands. Process was very easy. Plus they were willing to install over the weekend. I did find slightly cheaper options than this company but not folks willing to work on a Saturday so that sealed the deal for me with 100 degree temperature. The owner also offered to being an window unit AC over for the night which was very nice but I didn't take him up on that offer.

On the next day, the install wasn't done by the owner or his sons but instead what the owner called a "helper". Well the helper did the whole install and only time the owner and son came by was to drop off the new unit and maybe an hour of the 6 or 7 hour install. I'm actually fine with all this as helper seemed knowledgeable; however I was believing that the owner and/or sons would be doing the install. The other company that I had called which was as cheaper but didn't work on weekends made a point to tell me that he and his sons would be doing the install and that he does not contract out. He also said that the most important day of your AC is your install day. Anyway all that said, I was fine with the helper doing the install as I think he did a good job.

I have already recommend Carnes to friends and felt like the speed and transparency of the process was great. Hopefully I won't be calling them for a while but you should definitely give them a try.

I don't know where to start. They are hands down the BEST HVAC company I've dealt with!!! The initial evaluation, the communication and service provided. They listen to your needs and work with you to make it as smooth as possible. The installers were very knowledgeable, super friendly, professional, and constantly updating on the progress with detailed explanations. They also go over everything after the job is complete. Clean up, and the craftsmanship is on point! I've dealt with over 7 providers within 9 years, and no other can hold a candle to Carnes. Highly recommended!!! You will not regret going with them!!!

Carnes and Sons Air Condition Service is absolutely amazing! My AC went down Wed night and on Friday, I had a new unit installed. They provide kind, honest, and knowledgeable service. This is a family-owned company that wants to take care of their customers. I will refer everyone who needs AC service to them. They are the best!!!

We replaced our AC system and the job done by this company was excellent. After reaching out to several AC companies we felt most comfortable with Clint at Carnes and Sons. On every call, we felt Clint's honesty and his understanding of our problem. He was very patient and professional explaining the various types of AC units and specs available and worked with us on giving us very fair price. His technician, Hector Rodriguez and apprentice Dorian were extremely professional too and did a awesome job installing our new air handler in the attic and condenser system outside. Going forward, we plan to definitely call them again with any of our AC needs.

This company is amazing, they helped me the SAME day (late in the day) that I phoned them for service with my AC unit as it was not cooling in this Texas heat. The technician was super helpful, professional, courteous and patient with my questions as I am a first time home buyer. I had an awesome experience with Carnes and Sons. My tech, Jonathan Carnes, was super professional and honest. He actually guessed my issue (a bad capacitor) before even opening up the unit, and sure enough, he was right. He had it fixed fast and got my system running again.

The service was amazing! My AC would not cool down the house, not even at night, and with 103° weather outside I was really worried — especially since I have a 5-month-old. They came out the same night I called, which was so urgent for me, and went out of their way to really investigate the problem. Now my AC is holding steady at 72° without any issues. The team was professional, quick to respond, and made sure everything was working how it’s supposed to. Carnes & Sons has helped me replace two AC units now over the past couple of years. Clint and his team have always been very responsive, knowledgeable and follow through on what they say they will do. They have stood behind their service and products and are the only HVAC company I'll use.

Carnes and Sons installed a brand new AC/Heater system in my house after my old unit gave out. They did a fantastic job with the install and had me up and running in only a couple days. I got quotes from around 8 vendors and they were significantly cheaper for the brand and high end unit that I wanted installed. They were legitimately the cheapest option I got quoted despite them providing the highest end unit. Other companies were quoting me 2-8k more for similar systems or quoting the absolute most basic AC system and still changing more. Do yourself and wallet a favor and give them a call. I also spoke directly with the owner several times during the quote process and he was always extremely helpful in addressing any questions I had as I was deciding which company to choose. Once the install was complete they handled setting up the inspection and did the product warranty registration making everything a very smooth and easy process.
