Let me preface this review by saying that I'm a small business owner. I would never leave a poor review for a company out of spite, our anger. I'm writing this review honestly, and I'll do my very best to do it tactfully.

I decided to give these guys two stars to acknowledge that the representative who visited my shop was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, their communication, administration, and extended customer service proved to be terrible, and actually put my small business at financial risk.

We have an older AC unit and it needed to be topped off with R22. First, I'll say that this company's pirce for R22 was about 15% more expensive than other businesses I talked to. Because they were able to get to me immediately, I calculated that to be the surcharge for convenience. During the course of maintenance I discussed replacing our air conditioning unit with Service First. We made an agreement that the nearly $800 check I was writing them for R22 refrigerants would be held for a period of one month, so we could discuss the prospect of replacing the system altogether. I did not ask for them to hold the check, they offered. They indicated that they would apply some of the payment towards the new system if we moved forward.

I contacted Service First about a week later asking for them to send over a quote on a new system, and confirming that they were indeed holding the check for 30 days. Two days later I got a notification from my bank that my checking account was overdrawn, and saw that they had deposited the check without any notification, or ever sending me a quote for additional work. Had we been notified that they were going to deposit the check we could have made the appropriate arrangements, but since there was no communication at all it caused us a lot of problems, and expense. To say we were disappointed would be a gross understatement. Our debt is paid to this company, and we've cleaned up the mess they left us with, but I assure you I would never do business with them again. If you value integrity, communication, and competency, I suggest you find someone else to work with.

My shop has been using George Best for years. We decided to give Service First a shot because they were available, and are actually located in our neighborhood. I love doing business with local companies, and I was hopeful that the experience would be a positive one. It wasn't. We made a mistake. I'm leaving this review in the hopes it will help someone else avoid the same mistake.

Kevin Edwards is one of the most informative technicians we have run across.
He is very professional and is very knowledgeable about his job and we will welcome him back at anytime.

Juan came in and explained everything he was going to do and gave recommendations. He was cordial and professional. I highly recommend getting service by Juan. Joseph and Anthony came out in December to look at oyr heating unit and they are the best. They explained what they did with smiles on their faces. Keep up the good work gentlemen.

Rolando Candelas came out to service our AC and he provided excellent customer service! He took the time to hear out my concerns and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Service First and Rolando Candelas.

First I want to say, that it is VERY refreshing to have amazing and professional customer service. Joshua was knowledgeable,flexible and eager to find the source of the problem. Joshua went above and beyond with his visit by educating us on future possible complications and how to prevent and maintain our AC in the future. He was patient and polite during his entire visit and this alone has all my future business.

I called and requested a quote and was able to get ballpark figures before a tech was requested. Though the rates are a little higher than other competitors, I will still go with company and refer everyone I know based on my interactions with this business.

The tech was sent and arrived within 30 minutes at 7pm at night! Now that's fast, convenient, and we'll worth the price in my opinion.

I have done business with other Google "trusted" AC repair companies (look at me prior reviews) and they were terrible. So I really mean it when I say this was a great experience.

I definitely recommend Service First Air! The technicians Rolando & Jeff were very professional and helpful when they came out for summer maintenance. They fine tuned the unit and when they were done it was cooler and any mugginess was gone. Very good service!

Quality service. They repaired what prior repair companies were overlooking and completed the same day.

When I purchased my house 5 years ago I had issues with my AC unit. I called a company who told me I needed a new unit immediately. I made a call to service first just for a second opinion. They assured me all I needed was the unit charged and instead of a 10,000.00 bill it was around 200.00. I have used them many times since.
Last night my AC stopped working and I called Service First. Not only did they respond at night in the middle of a heat advisory, they arrived within 90 minutes with a team. In another 90 minutes I was up and running. I am older with medical conditions and have 4 dogs I was concerned about. ADRIAN was my absolute hero. Not only was he the most professional repair person to ever visit my house he went so above and beyond to assure my comfort in the heat to include washing my vent covers. I was totally amazed and completely satisfied!!!
If you need AC work call service first and ask for ADRIAN! You will be amazed. THANK YOU SERVICE FIRST ESPECIALLY MY NEW FRIEND ADRIAN!!!

I have had Service First technicians in two houses and over 10 years.... They are always fantastic! Work gets done quickly and very neatly... They never leave a mess! Daniel came through again today. New capacitor and changed the filters for me (I can't reach the returns in the ceiling)... :) aahhhh, cool air! Y'all should call them! Trustworthy and reasonable!

Kevin came out and got us up and running and was very honest and transparent about the issue and how to fix it. What a relief to have somebody give you an easy fix instead of overcharging you and feeling scammed. Kevin was super polite, and actually brought our Amazon packages in from the front doorstep when he came in.

Kevin Edwards from Service First came by for our regular system maintenance appointment. Reminded us that we have an old system and that we’ll need to be ready for a new system when it finally goes out. He expertly explained the issue and the general costs. Very professional and easy going guy.

My A/C stopped working. I called the next day, and they had my AC installed. The two technicians, Javier, Servando & Alex, were knowledgeable, fast, and didn't leave until my AC was completely installed. I highly recommend Service First Air. GREAT COMPANY

If you are looking for amazing, honest, reliable and affordable service- I highly recommend Service First plumbing and Air Conditioning. Rolando has been our go to man anytime we are having issues in our home. We had tried companies referred to us by our home warranty and they always let us down. We actually had to have Rolando come in and reverse their horrible services.
Thank you Rolando for all of your hard work and dedication to helping my family. This company is about helping families first!! God bless and thank you again Rolando.

Kevin came out late in the evening to look at our ac system. He was very knowledgeable and found the problem really fast. He took his time explaining to us all the problems with our unit. He was also one of the friendliest people we have ever met. This put us at ease and knew that we could trust his judgment on the issues. Call them and ask for Kevin you won’t be disappointed . If I could give more than five stars I would. Thank you Kevin!

Very happy with this company! I called later in the evening when our A/C suddenly stopped working, and they had someone out within the hour. Kevin was professional, friendly, and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue — highly recommend!

My A/C stopped blowing cold air one day and I had no idea why. I’ve never had to call for A/C work and was looking for someone that was honest and reputable. I went online and read a review that Service First was reasonable and reliable so I decided to give them a call. They offered to come out the same day to see what the issue could be. Rolando was professional, knowledgeable, and explained how the A/C unit worked and why I wasn’t getting cold air. He replaced what I needed and the air cooled off immediately. Service First came out for an emergency situation we had on a Friday night. Kevin Edwards was the technician who followed through on the call and serviced our unit. However, he discovered some major issues with both our units, so we decided to have them both replaced. Kevin came back out on Monday with his team…Heber, Cercando, and Isaac, and did an amazing job replacing the entire units. They were prompt, hard-working, polite, and cleaned up promptly after themselves. I am completely satisfied with their work and with Service First, and would highly recommend them to anyone!!!!

Recently had the pleasure of working with Joseph who pointed out various issues with a previous AC installation and attic insulation that was never installed! He went out of his way explaining what was needed, was patient, knowledgeable and empathetic for the crap install we had previously. Within a couple of days I had a new insulation, attic fans and a brand new AC system that made all the difference in the world. Great job Joseph!

Spent alot of time with Kevin today. Knowing it was time to replace our unit he took time to explain various options that would be best for our safety, efficiency and even financial needs. He obviously has lots of experience and knowledge about this profession. We are pleased and recommend him and his company for prompt responses and for taking care of our family's heating and air conditioning needs.

The technician arrived within two hours of my call, explained everything clearly, and quickly diagnosed the issue with my AC unit and the repair was done quickly.
