Excellent service. Clara was very knowledgeable, very thorough and honest. She told me and showed me what the problem was and what options I had. She fixed the issue for which I called and pointed other parts that may be an issue soon if not addressed, however she did not push the issues, or try to sell me something else.

I had a great experience with this company, and rhe price was right where I expected.

Eleven years ago, I took pot luck on finding an A/C contractor who could fix my 42 year old central A/C unit. The contractor said he could not fix the problem, and I had to purchase and install a new system.
I kept looking and found General Air Conditioning. Their skilled craftsmen came to the house and fixed the problem (and several others after that).
Eleven years later, my A/C quit working, and General Air Conditioning could not fix the problem because the 53 year old system needed replacement. I agreed. (I'm a retired engineer.)
Tim Bruce and his highly skilled craftsmen (and craftlady) installed the new system in just three days, the only restraining factor being receiving parts from suppliers 100 miles away.

General Air Conditioning installed are complete system some years ago. They provide regular maintenance to the system to keep it in top working order. The technician that we deal with most often is Clara who is a great professional and a joy to deal with. Just prior to the 10-year warranty expiration our compressor went out. They installed a brand new compressor at no additional charge. I am sold on General Air Conditioning and their staff.

We have had our new unit just over a year. Our electricity bill has decreased and we are setting our unit temperature cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter compared to our old unit. It was a pleasure working with Todd to get a new unit installed which came with a 10 year warranty. The installers and service technicians are very professional. I am glad we did business with General. Highly recommended.

Michaela did an excellent job servicing my AC unit. She conducts herself very professionally and possesses a great deal of knowledge about ACs. She explained everything she was doing. She asked all the right questions to figure out the problem. She noticed things like my lights flickering when the AC turns on — which indicates a problem. She was able to provide estimates on the work that needed to get done. (Other repair places make you talk to the manager about costs.)

They seemed to know what they were doing. They were quick, courteous, and cleaned up afterwards. They went to great effort to make sure that the compressor was placed properly. They went to great effort to make sure that the air conditioner unit would drain properly. They removed any garbage created by removal of the old unit.

The work performed was excellent. Even with the extreme heat we have been experiencing, they took extra time to insure everything was installed correctly as well as correcting some previous work items performed by a different company. They were polite, unobtrusive, and professional. I will trust them and General AC with any future work.

We switched to Tim's company over 15 years ago and haven't looked further since. His company is trustworthy, honest, reliable and just plain out and out great. His technicians are well educated in their field and praise Tim as a boss. We have done business with other companies through the years but since finding General Air our hunt is over. We do not hesitate to highly recommend them.

General Air came out today to do the standard maintenance service, but wow, they did a whole lot more than we ever expected and all as part of their Annual Maintenance agreement. We have been with Gen Air for many years and we appreciate them more and more as the years go by. The two gentlemen did a fabulous job, cleaned up after themselves and left us with a smooth running system. You can count on them to give you the very best always.

Well I can tell you that we struck gold with General Air Conditioning. Throughout the process we got excellent service in determining exactly what we needed based on our house and a/c use. Every step of the planning process was clearly explained and all my questions were answered. For such a big purchase, I felt really reassured that I picked the right system and company to work with.

The install process was just as impressive. The technicians were very professional and worked diligently to make sure everything was installed correctly. They also kept me informed throughout the installation to help me better understand the ends and outs of my system.

After two months with the new HVAC unit, I am very impressed with its performance and the service provided by General Air Conditioning.

Wouldn’t have anyone else service our unit. Makayla was great today (8/25/23) and my summer check up was done in a timely manner. I have also had Clara and Tim come on different occasions. They are even available around the holidays, last year our heater went out the day before Christmas. General come out and had our home ready for Christmas morning. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Vic and her crew were on time and did a great job. They explained everything and cleaned up after themselves. Definitely would call again and will definitely recommend.

Once you go with General Air Conditioner, you will be a forever customer. I just left another company after 15 Years because my A/C went out and they re-scheduled my appointment 3 times. I called General Air conditioning, talked to the front desk, Crystal, very professional, very friendly, knows what CUSTOMER SERVICE is, she answered all my questions and stated they install Trane A/C Units only, that is exactly what I wanted. Experts to replace my current Trane.

She contacted the owner, Tim Bruce and he came to my house the same day and did what he needed to do to make sure I had A/C in this Texas Weather. VERY COMPETITIVE PRICING. TRUSTWORTHY, not a sales man, he only cares about what you need, not about the money he wants to make. The very next day, Tim dropped off the A/C and told me his crew were on the way. Josh, Vic, and Nick were her in the next 30 minutes. They installed a new 2-speed Trane. I did not need a furnace, Tim stated I had another 4 or 5 years, it was still in great shape. The last company stated I needed a NEW SYSTEM, they are obviously out for themselves, not a 15 Year Customer. They tried charging me over $24, 000.00 for a new system. Tim just shook his head.

When the crew got here, the first thing Vic was concerned about was the HEAT in our house, she offered a FAN to me, to keep me cool, in my home office. The last company apologized to me and stated they had a skeleton crew, General Air Conditioning is a SMALLER BUSINESS and they OPENED a slot for me. They CARE.

Josh, Vic, and Nick are very dedicated, as HOT as it was outside, they did what they needed to do, installing my new unit away from a bush where my current Trane was to have enough room to work and they installed a brand new breaker box for my new Trane. Everything was cleaned up, looks neat and now I am breathing CRISP cold air. THANK YOU, General Air Conditioning! Best experience in customer service in a long time! Todd took his time explaining everything recommended and was extremely patient while my husband and I discussed it privately. Installation went smoothly... everyone involved with installation was respectful of us and our house! All of our questions were answered thoroughly and in a way that we could understand. Everything was explained in detail so we wouldn’t encounter any surprises. Cannot say enough good things about this company and their team members!!! I highly recommend to anyone needing heating and air conditioning work!!!

Victoria and Josh were great. The temperatures were in the high 90s to low 100s all week and they pushed everyday to get our new ac up and running as quickly as possible. They worked tirelessly daily and kept us regularly updated on progress, problems, etc. Simply an incredible team! They are the type of people that make good companies great.

This gal knows her business backwards and forwards. In fact the entire crew worked very well together. It was a full day, but after all was done every thing was left spotless.
