Called for ac repair service at our condo.
They came out twice claiming that the HVAC needed to be replaced and quoted an estimate of 10k. They stated the unit was non functional and 20 years old and no coolant was made for this unit anymore.
A second opinion was obtained and it was confirmed that the unit was dirty and the coils needed to be cleaned and within 2 hours of cleaning the unit, it
was fully functional and cooling properly.

Quality work and exceptional service at a fair price. I was incredibly impressed with their timeliness, customer service, and commitment to fully answering my questions and correctly diagnosing the problem.

Zach did an outstanding job thoroughly examining my entire unit—especially after another company I called the week before had failed to do so properly. He was very knowledgeable and patient with my many questions.

JR was also wonderful. He went above and beyond to accommodate my hectic work schedule and was extremely helpful in guiding me through my options.

In the end, they successfully repaired my unit, and I’ve since signed up for their service program. When the time comes to replace my unit, I’ll definitely be using ASC Heating and Air.

Mr.Zach, was very professional and thorough and explained to me step-by-step what was wrong with my HVAC. They were very patient, even though we had bumps in the road with the home warranty. Overall, the service was excellent. I will recommend their service.

They came out immediately for a second opinion and waved the service fee due to it being a second opinion. They were fast and friendly really taking the time to review the issue and my story. Pricing is reasonable and Ron really worked with me and Marsha at the office was so kind and helpful. They have veteran discounts, great service and payment plans if needed. The tech showed up on time for repairs and they didn't take long just to milk the labor rate. The entire experience was amazing and comfortable and they were able to get my AC back up and running! The tech was knowledgeable, explained everything he was doing to me, walked me through it and was very communicative! Highly recommend!

ASC provides HVAc system maintenance twice a year. The staff that have come to my are professionals and knowledgeable. They explain clearly what they found. I recommend ASC without reservations.

Incl y'all, I got 4 quotes. It cost me over $350 in Scv Charges just for someone to show up and tell me what needs to be done. $20,100 1st quote...$17,000 2nd quote...$11,000 3rd quote...$12,600 4th quote.

My neighbor gave me the number of his friend, an INDEPENDENT Licensed Electrician & Plumber. The work, repairs and replaced parts...$950.00! I gave him a $125 tip!

The $350 I spent on the other companies was worth it, I guess. It let me know just how willing, big companies are, to RIP YOU OFF and smile about it. I'm through with TV / Radio advertised big companies. (I wish my guy did AC / HVAC, too. I already have a great Independent Mechanic.)

We use this AC company for our restaurant Nichas Comida Mexicana and they have been amazing. They respond quickly whenever we call and always get our system running properly. Very reliable and professional. Highly recommend for any business!

Called on Sunday and scheduled appointment for Monday around 1. Called me Monday morning and said they could be there earlier. That was great since I really had a lunch appointment for 2:30. They came out and fixed my problem. Happy with the service and helpful friendly service.

We have had issues with the AC unit for a while, and couldn't find anyone to help us or anyone that we could trust. I made one call to ASC and received an immediate response. Within a couple of days, we had a brand-new system. ASC answered all my questions and even checked back with me to make sure we were happy with our new AC. Their customer service goes above and beyond.

Excellent service. The owner provided me with the specifications for different options for a new HVAC. The pricing structure was flexible; I did not have to buy a bundled product. As I already had a wireless thermometer, a whole house and HVAC surge protectors I was saved the cost of buying these items. The company pulled the required permit, and the employees were a pleasure to work with. I appreciate their attention to detail. I look forward to doing business with them again.

The owner, Mr. Tim Bruce, takes the time to present the product and answer any questions. My wife and I were impressed with his knowledge and recommendations of the Trane line.

Of the total 3 bids we received, the other two from the Orange and Blue Home Improvement Stores. I'm glad we chose this locally owned company, we didn't regret it.

I would like to recognize Victoria and David, our installers. I was extremely impressed with their attention to detail with their work and resourcefulness.

The home builder had made only one drain for 2 units. While not the fault of General Air Conditioning, this would make future servicing difficult. Victoria created a valve system which would allow easier service for both units.

The new Trane units are phenomenal! So quiet both inside and outside. CPS Energy has an available credit, all the paperwork was filled out and taken care of by Sara. There are available Federal Credits, those you have your accountant file.

The entire staff was very knowledgeable, hard working, and extremely courteous. I appreciate all their efforts at making everything just right, the replacement of both my units was a pleasant experience.

The staff was punctual, keep the work area clean, no damage to our property, and they finished on time. I would definitely have them do maintenance, repair, or another installation.

Update: After trying another provider for my ac maintenance and not too impressed with their level of service.

I signed back with General Air Conditioning. They were able to see me bright and early the next day. On time, Christopher serviced my two units.

Checked the indoor air handlers and outdoor condensers. Gave the condenser coils a wash, with a cleaner and water from the hose.

Took it a step further and cleaned the organic materials that accumulated at the bottom.

He asked if the house was harder to cool. With the extreme summer we had, I'd assume it was par for the course.

However, due to his readings of my units. While I was within range of refrigerant 9 lbs +/- 3 lbs, they were on the low side at 6ish lbs.

He recommended options, wait until next winter check or fill the freon. He also mentioned the potential of saving money.

If the unit is at optimal level of freon, it works at its best. That coupled with the fact we live in Texas. Where it is boiling 13 months out of the year. We.want.optimal!

Sure glad he presented me with the actual numbers. Told Christopher to fill'em up!

He presented the after figures and it was great. The house felt so, so much cooler and back to normal.

Have used General Air Conditioning for years. Always reliable, on time and courteous. Every employee professional and friendly. They name sure no debris is tracked in our home by wearing covers on their shoes. Always a pleasure. AAA+++

On July 5th I called at 7am because my a/c had gone out overnight and the other guys (friends of Bugs and Daffy One hour AC) could not get to me. Tim answered the phone and scheduled me for 3pm. At 12:30 he calls back and says his tech got done early at another job and could come now, points for early arrival. The tech that showed up at 1pm worked and worked to discover the problem to no avail, by 7pm it was obvious he was in way over his head, in comes the owner Tim, both stay at my home until 10pm to make sure my ac is operational for the night. They could not solve the multiple problems so created bypasses and said they would be back tomorrow. I advised I could not be there before 5, no problems for them...bonus points. They were there promptly, worked until 8pm to get it all done and repaired correctly. They were courteous and it was interesting to watch as Tim taught his tech as he went on. This is a professional and courteous outfit, and they also care about the customer experience and will sacrifice for the customer and you rarely see that anymore. I would give more stars if I could. Thanks Tim and Nathan for a job well done and all the effort you put forth to make sure I was happy.

My husband and I are very happy with our new HVAC system installed by General Air. Vic, Josh and the entire team worked very hard on my install. They cleaned up after themselves and were professional and courteous. I was impressed how hard they worked! Thank you guys!

Arrived on time. Fixed concern quickly & efficiently, especially due to having part needed in his work truck so no need for delays or a 2nd appointment. Very knowledgeable & explained each step in detail as well as recommendations & other services available. Very kind, professional & will use company again in the future.

Maintenance was performed on a Trane system by General AC, Inc. Clara and her associate did an excellent job on the system. The gas pressure was a little high and was adjusted. The filter was changed and the primary drain line was flushed out among other routine services. Clara was very knowledgeable about the unit and answered in detail the many questions posed by my wife and I. It was well worth the annual charge for the two visits to keep the variable speed unit operating at peak efficiency.
