—Scheduling (5): They came out the next day for an hvac problem during the latest freeze when everyone was having problems. They gave an accurate 4-hr window and then a 30min notice when on the way. It was easy to reach them by text and phone.
—Tech Michael Sanchez (5+): he is the main reason the overall score is a 5. He is very personable, professional, and explained everything. He even called the main office to lower cost of the repair quote. We were very happy he came back to install the new part.
—Parts Dept (2): We needed a part ordered for the repair but the parts dept were unable/unwilling to give an estimate on timing. I originally thought it would be a couple days, then a week, but got to worrying they just forgot about us. I even texted in several times just to be told that they are waiting on the part but would ignore my further request for an estimated timeframe. It took 10days, which would be fine if they just said “a couple weeks” at the beginning. This is an area they need to improve.
—Price(4): I could have done without the sales pitch for their membership tiers but understand the techs have to do it. I also think the initial price quote was high and happy Michael called the office to get it lowered.

We would use them again but hope they would improve on their ability to give estimates on parts arrival.

About 6 months ago in June, I had champion come out. And install a new system and paid for maintenance. During the past cold in 2026
Something happened to the a c call champion.They came out, turned out just to be a simple fix caused by a surge. They came out, inspected were very friendly used plastic tk cover boots in and out of the house. They came in, checked the system.I signed a couple of pages asked me if I needed anything else, very professional. No charge just piece of mind.

Champion Home Services professionals spent all day working extremely hard to remove the whole ancient Heat and AC unit and the air tranports and grills, along with replacement of all those, and the natural gas pipes, involving both the interior and the large attic of our 70+year old house. So now we have new, efficient heater/AC, which we've much needed for many years! Everyone at Champion is great! We really appreciate them!

Gerardo & his assistant were prompt, communicated well, & were respectful of our home while they removed our existing system (+20 yrs old) & replaced with a new one. They discovered some of the original duct work had been installed incorrectly so corrected that. They took their time to be sure the coolant was at the proper level & checked both heating & cooling for correct operation after the installation. Would highly recommend Champion for your HVAC needs.

Very pleased by the quality and professionalism of the entire team. They were courteous and extremely capable. Abel gave me a very thorough explanation of the work they performed. I’m very satisfied with Champion and will rely on them to maintain my new system! When I was purchasing the system, Peter explained all of the services and support options. He presented detailed options and understood my needs. I was very pleased that they were able to install the system according to my needs.

Great service as usual with Champion AC. Brian was my technician and he did a great job, very professional and polite. He explained everything thoroughly and provided options to solve the issues he found. Pictures of all work was provided as well and all work looked neat and professional. I will definitely be renewing my membership with Champion.

I really appreciated the technician who came out to diagnose my AC unit. He was professional, courteous, and thorough. He did a great job.

However, I was quoted $3,400 to replace a failed blower motor.

I ended up getting a second opinion from another company that was very transparent with their pricing. They charged me $460 for an OEM replacement motor and $400 for installation, which I found to be reasonable. The installation took about 30 minutes.

In my opinion, the pricing difference was significant. I personally could not justify the large gap between the two quotes.

I’m sure they would have done quality work, but I would encourage customers to get a second opinion when facing major repairs.

Mr. Lopez was very professional, and a hard-working, young man. He was very knowledgeable about the air conditioning unit and took the time to explain the process to me. He had a good kind caring affect, & was very pleasant, with my dog. Champion should be proud of this employee!!

We had an excellent experience with Ace Fernandez from Champion AC. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly inspect our system and clearly explain what was going on in a way that was easy to understand. I really appreciated how informative he was — he didn’t rush through anything and made sure all of our questions were answered.
Ace was honest about our options and helped us feel confident in the decisions we needed to make. It’s hard to find technicians who truly take the time to educate homeowners, and he definitely went above and beyond. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend Ace Fernandez.

Martin and his coworker were AMAZING! They were very respectful and mindful of the new flooring and paint that was done just a few months ago. The outcome was way above what I expected!!! Great company. Roman was able to diagnose and repair my unit in half an hour. I've been having issues for months and other AC companies were trying to make me replace my unit because of a simple issue.

Great company. Same day response and repair for warranty service. They were far more economical for a 2 stage TRANE unit compared to many other companies in San Antonio.

Our AC was having issues for years, and no one could ever seem to find a solution. Alamo Comfort sent Daniel over and he was able to diagnose and solve the problem. It was an extremely unique case that took lots of troubleshooting, ordering of new parts, and installing everything correctly. Daniel went absolutely above and beyond! We could not be happier with his service. A big thank you to the company, and especially to Daniel for finally fixing our problem.

My coils on my AC unit was freezing up, I let them thaw for a few days, then I called and was able to get service the next day, (Adrain) came out all was supposedly well , but there was a little miss understanding . I called back the very next day and the manager Daniel himself came and repaired without any additional cost👍very satisfied customer
