Highly recommend Luft Air Conditioning and Heating. Excellent service! Mike ordered a new coil on Friday and I was notified that the part had arrived Monday after being told it would take 3-5 business days. They arrived at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning as promised, replaced the coil, and took care of all the details to make sure the unit and air handler were working efficiently in less than two hours.

Luft did an awesome job. They were honest and straight forward to work with.

Fantastic experience. We moved into our house 18 months ago, and one room has always been much warmer than the rest. Mike came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and suggested a solution at a very fair price. The speed with which this was done was incredible - I made the first call to Luft Air at 11a on Saturday, Mike came out the same day at 2p, and he came back on Monday morning and completed the work within an hour. Very grateful for their quality service and care, and highly recommend!

My unit's fan stopped working and my daughter just came home with her newborn. I called Luft since my normal AC company was booked up for the day. Mike was able to come within the hour, and was able to fix my inside unit quickly for us. He was kind enough to let me know about potential other issues we may have, that we were essentially taken advantage of by the company who sold us the unit (I no longer use them), and he gave me solutions, if needed. I will be using Luft as my second go to AC company! If you're shopping around for a new company, I HIGHLY recommend Luft.

Hands down the most professional experience I have had with anyone in the trades. Mike came by to evaluate after I found mold on my A/C registers.
He found that the company who installed it two years ago did not install the splash guard which is required by the Trane manual. This lead to the plenum being constantly sprayed with water droplets and it was filled with mold.
He was thorough, courteous, and very kind. Stayed longer than a usual estimate would take and never rushed me. I would highly recommend him.

Nick from Luft came out on a Sunday evening, which I really appreciated, especially since there was no extra charge for after-hours service. He quickly diagnosed the issue and completed the repair efficiently. The price was actually cheaper than what I paid a few years ago with another company just to replace a transformer. Honest, fair, and professional service. I’ll definitely be calling Luft again!

I live in the Alamo Ranch area, I had some issues with the blower motor . I called Mike , he showed up in 20 minutes . He found the problem, went to the Carrier store , got a new part under warranty , came back and fixed it in record time.

This company is great. I have used them multiple times and each time they were at my building within 12 hours repairing whatever needed to be done. What I Love About LUFT

I cold-called LUFT for a second opinion after a big company gave me a $3,O00-plus estimate to do some work to fix my furnace. I just didn’t trust them.

I picked Luft randomly -I had no idea what to expect. They don’t have big billboards or TV ads. It was a very lucky choice.

Luft (“air” in German) turned out to be fantastic! Mike, the co-owner with his dad, moved the the U.S from Ukraine 8 years ago. He was courteous, efficient and clearly an expert technician. He explained everything and when he saw what was broken, drove to the HVAC brand supplier and got it. He only needed me part for the repair, and charged less than 1/10th of what I would have paid the big company for the repair they said I needed.

He installed it, tested it several times and left me super-impressed.

The main message: I will definitely use Luft for my hvac work in the future!

I felt the technician the if company sent was not super/rxprrienced. It it took him almost an hour and several calls to his company for advice to finally conclude that my furnace igniter and control board had mysteriously broken at the same time.
He suggested I order both parts for $3,500-$4,000 total and said it would probably take 2 or 3 weeks to get them in. He said that was so expensive, and my hvac unit was so old (10 years) it would probably make more sense to just replace the whole system. Have you heard that, too, when you just wanted a repair?

My husband looked up the parts numbers and price of the parts at the unit’s supplier here in town and they cost more than a thousand dollars less than the price we were quoted. I thought surely we could find a more trustworthy company.

Thats why I made a cold call to Luft, picked on a whim from Groupon.

Mike, the owner of Luft with his dad, picked up the phone immediately He was on a job near my home so he offered to come right over.
He was incredibly bright and efficient, obviously a highly skilled technician.

Right away he said what we suspected—it didn’t make sense to replace the control board until we knew if the problem was just the igniter.
He jumped in his van and drove to the supplier and returned a few minutes later with the part, installed it, tested it 4 times to be sure, and charged me $300, not the &900 the other company suited for the igniter alone, (they quoted $3,500-+ for igniter and control board, which I didn’t need at all.

Mike said he saw that kind of thing happen a lot - charging extra for parts and jobs and pressure on technicians to “upsell” -to recommend add-on fixtures or services and to steer folks toward replacing hvac systems that could be fixed.

Great service with Luft. Our AC was having some issues and shortly after arrival the issues were identified and explained to us so we knew exactly what our options were. Came back within an hour with new parts and had everything fixed faster than expected! Thanks again.

Technician was outstanding. My air conditioner went out on a Saturday. I gave them a call and he was able to respond within 30 minutes, almost unheard of. I had called a larger company and they couldn’t even get to me until Monday, and of course only gave me a four hour window when technician might be there. As soon as Mike responded to my home, I gave him the symptoms and he quickly isolated and identified the issue. My breaker was tripping and it ended up being the compressor. He was able to source a compressor on the next business day, and come to and make the repair that Monday. He was very thorough, professional and explained the issue that was occurring. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a reasonable price with quick response and outstanding customer service. If I have any issues in the future, or get asked who I would recommend, this would be the guy.

Amazing service. Anytime I have someone take a look at my HVAC I’m always prepared to hear “….and you need to new unit, but we can get you a deal for $15k”. This wasn’t that. The tech went through my entire system. Told me what was wrong(starter motor). Gave me a fair price and got it done by the afternoon. On top of that he serviced and cleaned my condenser unit like no one has ever done. Truly, amazing. I won’t call anybody else at this point. They have a loyal customer now.
