Amazing, amazing, amazing!
Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and their service is beyond words impressive.
We had an issue with our hvac unit and because of that, we had to have it shut off. They came out quickly, diagnosed the issue instantly, and had the part in had first thing the next morning, and was at our house right after. Also, they were half the price of the 3 other people we called.
They truly appreciate and care about their customers and it shows!

We had an issue with our AC not cooling the house. LUFT inspected and tested both the indoor and outdoor units and quickly identified the problems. They came the same day we needed the work done and replaced everything to get the AC working again, including old ducts in the attic. Punctual, reliable team with honest and fair pricing. The quality of their work and level of service made it a great value overall. Highly recommend!

We had a mold problem with AC and Mike came out right away to inspect it and was able to do the work the next day. He did the job super quickly, was very responsible, and really paid attention to details. He even pointed out a few other issues we didn’t notice and gave us helpful advice. Really great service – I’d definitely recommend him!

Luft Air (Mike) quickly and thoroughly diagnosed the problem we were having with our air handler unit. He offered us options on repair costs and visually and verbally explained to me the problems that we were having. At the same time, I had diagnoses and estimates provided by two other AC companies. Mike was the most straightforward and gave us options for repair, without trying to upsell us or overcharge for the service. We were very happy with the work he and his coworkers did, also with communicating about appointments and arrival times. I highly recommend Luft Air and plan to use them again for any other issues that come up or when it’s time to replace our unit.

Excellent customer service. Father and son company with meticulous attention to detail. The price was best out of all the other companies and I had been looking for 2 years. We agreed on a price, signed the contract. On day of install shows up with upgraded system at no additional charge. I was more than beyond content!!!

I had Luft Air Conditioning and Heating upgrade the entire HVAC system at my rental property in Alamo Ranch, and the experience was exceptional. Mike installed a brand-new Amana 16.5 SEER2 high-efficiency system for about half the price of other quotes I received. Not only did I save a lot of money, but the new system also came with a much better warranty.
The installation was fast, clean, and professionally done. The new system is quieter, cools the home more evenly, and will definitely help reduce energy costs for my tenants. Mike kept me informed throughout the process and made everything stress-free.

The technicians were thorough, professional, and took the time to clearly explain the issue and the repair process. Luft did a full HVAC replacement at a very reasonable and honest price. The work was started on time and finished on schedule. They took proper care of our wood flooring by bringing their own carpets and cleaned up nicely before leaving. At the end of the job, they did a thorough walk-through of the new installation, registered the system with the manufacturer, and provided the warranty documents. Overall, a very professional experience. Will definitely call on them the next time something goes wrong with our HVAC.

I recently had both of my AC and HVAC units (R-32 systems) replaced, and the experience was excellent. Mykyta & Team were professional, knowledgeable, and guided me through all my options. Their price is very reasonable and far better than other contracting companies. The Installation was completed on time with great attention to detail, and they left the space spotless. We have struggled with our HVAC system for the past ten years. Each new company told us the fix we needed would solve the problem, then it would break again. Luft came last year when we had a water leak and determined the water pan was installed wrong. He showed us pictures and explained what was needed. Fast forward to this week and the AC couldn't keep up. Luft carefully explained our options, showed photos, then shared the concerns he had about how the unit was operating. We decided to finally replace it. Luft explained the various units, answering all of my questions, providing details about performance and warranty and we got the best one for our home. He did a great job removing the prior unit and installing the new unit. They are very professional, detailed and on time. We highly recommend Luft! Thank you!

We had a great experience with Luft. They arrived and got straight to diagnosing the issue, and they didn’t stop at just fixing the immediate problem. They also found areas where previous work hadn’t been done correctly. Each issue they discovered and the solution for it was explained in great detail, so we always understood what was going on and why it mattered. They also recommended several ways we could save money moving forward, which we really appreciated. After they finished, our AC and heat were running better than they ever have. Luft is a knowledgeable father-and-son company, and their attention to detail really shows. We felt confident having them in our home and will definitely be calling them again.

PLEASE READ ENTIRELY. AC UNITS ARE TOO EXPENSIVE TO NOT DO YOUR HOMEWORK. We found Luft from a reddit suggestion. We interviewed a total of 6 companies. We did a mix of the known companies and 3 smaller companies. All 5 companies recommended a unit that was too large for our home that currently uses 2 units this would have damaged duct work and cost us a-lot more in the long run. Luft was the ONLY company that looked at both the inside and outdoor components thoroughly. He then sat and explained why the unit was too big and what each item did. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He was the only one who took the time (2 hours) to do this. When he left we completely understood what we needed and how the a.c. Unit functioned. He was the LAST company we called for an estimate and we learned more with him than all 5 combined. Pricing: the top companies wanted 14-16k. The smaller companies wanted 8-9.5k. That right there was eye opening. We also wanted extra work done like cooling the movie room and main room. Other companies suggested major duct work and cutting into the home. Luft did not. He suggested work that was very minimal priced at $25. He also threw in work other companies were charging $800 plus. He did for FREE. I cannot even begin to tell you how hard working dedicated and attention to detail this duo is. We signed the contract and they showed up the next day at 8:30 am and worked until 6pm. Just them two. They placed the unit in and out while working fast, efficient and quietly. They used proper protection wear and laid material to protect our home. He went and corrected the other units short comings at NO CHARGE. He suggested cheap ways we could make our systems work for us at a more efficient friendly way. Like sizing up and changing the vents and adding a return. Other companies were priced at double for this same work. He Explained thoroughly and gave us cheap pricing. I will ALWAYS recommend them. He gave us all the paperwork talked us through the warranty and helped guide us to the rebates. We asked so many questions and he never rushed us. Luft is a solid, honest, hard working company. I recommend them 100%.

To keep the first part short if you don’t want to read the rest. Just go with LUFT, you wont find someone better in San Antonio. They will explain everything in detail, give you a more than fair price which is a rarity given how expensive things have become and they are extremely good at what they do.

If you have read this far, I rarely write reviews for companies or products. However the quality of service, the friendliness and the honesty from Luft impressed me so much that I hope people see this review. My A/C system was super old and dying on me so I shopped around getting several quotes and speaking with companies about buying a new system. Being an engineer myself I was instantly impressed by Mike given he asked what my needs were and gave succinct recommendations while explaining in detail why the recommendations he was giving were the right choice. Speaking of detail, they take pride in doing the work right, that shows in their attention to detail and the quality of the work they provide. Mike resized my supply plenum not even charging for it because it was not the right size for the system and he wanted any work associated with him to be done right.

On top of beating the 5 other quotes I got from the larger names from around here by $4000 I got a unit that was bigger, which Mike showed me was actually the right size for my homes sq footage being we are in South Texas something the others didn’t do. It also has a higher efficiency rating than the units I was suggested by the other companies. The quote that I received had every detail listed including part numbers that others didn’t include so that I could do my own research on the products to verify it’s what I wanted, shocker everything that Mike had said about the quality of the product was repeated online by other HVAC professionals and the prices again were more than fair. I’m going to end it here because this is getting long winded but seriously if you’re looking for HVAC services in San Antonio I highly recommend LUFT and I know personally they have my business for as long as I’m near an area that they provide service to.

We just purchased a home in the Huebner area and unfortunately had to replace the entire HVAC system. I learned of Luft Air from a Reddit post, called them up and Mike (one of the owners) was willing to drive out to our home for an assessment same day.
