AHS sent this company out for a second opinion after a previous company came out 4 times without resolving the issue of my AC running constantly but not cooling lower than 80 degrees. I was apprehensive after reading the reviews here.
Miranda got me on the schedule same day due to some cancellations they had and Larry came out, listened to my concerns, and assessed the ductwork and system. He found it to be low on Freon so he recharged the system with 6lbs. of Freon, added Stop Leak in case of a small leak somewhere, and discussed some ductwork configurations that would help in the future but nothing that was pressing in regards to the current situation.
The AC is now cooling appropriately without running constantly. I even had to pass out blankets to my family.
I had an excellent experience with American Air Conditioning & Heating. Ask for Larry!

After suffering 2 1/2 100° plus days without air conditioning, my home warranty sent American Air-Conditioning and Heating. The technician,
John Saiz, was so knowledgeable and helpful. He quickly found the problem and he promptly got started fixing it. I had absolutely no problems and would highly recommend them.

Raul and Manny were amazing! I received a call letting me know they were on the way. They arrived promptly and got to work. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything worked prior to leaving. They are an asset to any company they work for.

Juan and his assistant came out and checked the entire system and found the thermostat was not communicating with the system. They were thorough, professional, and very personable. I would highly recommend this company for any AC work you need done.

Juan came out today after our A/C went out. He quickly and efficiently diagnosed our issue and resolved it with a new part since the system is under warranty. Over the past year we’ve interacted with 3 A/C companies and this one was the absolute best!! Highly recommend them and ask for Juan…he was awesome.

Manny was very helpful and diagnosed a problem that has been there since the system was installed over 20 yrs ago. In addition he is helpful, knowledgeable, & very considerate. We have had that unit serviced regarding every 12-18 months and none of the other service techs figured out that the system would continue to leak until Manny & American Air Conditioning & Heating came today! We are very thankful.

My AC went out and my warranty company sent American Air Conditioning out to inspect my unit. From the very beginning I had a great experience. The office was very polite and professional setting up my appointment and getting a technician out asap. Technician by the name of Juan came out and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained the problem and fixed it In a timely manner. Now my unit is working better than before!!! I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends and request for this company to be my first choice in service. Thank you American Air Conditioning for being so Awesome!!

I want to thank Corey, Gabriel, Isaac, and Raul for the wonderful service installing the AC/Heating unit. Issac and Raul worked quietly during the day. All of the men were very polite, respectful and considerate. Everything about the unit was explained to me with understanding. Great job men! Thanks also to Ms. Brittany and Ms. Cindy they were also was polite and helpful.

American Air Conditioning and their technicians, specifically Juan, are amazing! They were able to schedule a service quickly after I engaged my home warranty. Juan was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of my home. I highly recommend them!

I submitted a request through American home shield and got assigned this company. They answered quickly and got the job done...at least half that is. They removed the broken part and never sent the diagnostics report to AHS (according to them). It's been over a week and both companies just point the finger at each other. My initial experience was good, but until they resolve my issue and complete the job I'm not changing the rating. Will adjust accordingly...

Isaac Peter was absolutely amazing! Answered all my questions! Went above and beyond to fix my attic air handler! He's noticed that the previous installer did some things not so advantageous to the system and rather than just keep status quo, he went back to his vehicle and got more PVC pipe and spent way more time than he intended to get it done a better more efficient way. Appreciate him very much! You couldn't ask for a better person to represent your company!

I would leave zero stars if I could. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are crooks. Guillermo admitted to me that his technician John is human and made a mistake when he told me I needed refrigerant for my ac when I really needed a new valve. John sure did charge me $346 for refrigerant that was not needed. Guillermo will continuously make excuses for his technicians to save face for the company. 13 days from their initial technician coming out to “fix” our ac and it is still not fixed. Each day my warranty company tells me they have spoken to Tiffany in dispatch and Tiffany has told them they will be calling me by end of day to schedule for the correct repair and each day comes and goes without any phone calls from the company to make these repairs. Guillermo, John and American Air and Heating owe me $346 for unnecessary refrigerant and they need to hire honest, educated technicians.

American AC has flaky service. They recovered my refrigerant in my system into their own tank, which they won't document how much they recovered so that they can charge you for putting in new refrigerant at their cost. Tech made an excuse that the recovered refrigerant wouldn't go back into the system. surprise surprise. Explained it was their recovery tank. So it's on ME that their recovery tank won't work properly so they must use their own refrigerant to fill my system. Half of what they recovered wouldn't go back into my system...hmmmm... Half?? Their manager Jeff was rude in our conversation about their tank issues. Poor customer service. Stay away from these guys. Would give 0 stars if i could.

Juan is an awesome air condition repairman. He took the time to ensure both air conditioner worked properly after he received the parts needed to fix them. My AC stopped cooling. I called a few companies, (4 to be exact), and either they would not return my call or they'd schedule an appointment and then not show up. No phone call to explain why or even to reschedule. By day 3, I was very frustrated of not having a cool place to come home to. I called American Air and was greeted in a friendly/professional manner by Cindy. I was happy to have someone answer my call for starters, she listened to what I had experienced the 3 days prior, and although it had nothing to do with her or their company, she was very apologetic and assured that they would do right by me. Sure enough, she scheduled a same day appointment. John, the tech that was scheduled to service my unit, called me when he was 25 minutes away. He was friendly, professional, and punctual. He checked my unit, found and repaired a small leak, and recharged it with freon explaining the process along the way. It's been 3 weeks and I've had no more problems! Thank you American A/C for your excellent customer service, affordable rates, and for keeping this woman from melting in this hundred degree weather! I will be recommending you to my friends and family.

I have American home shield and they use this A/C repair company. So the tech comes out and says we need a new blower motor but he does have the correct bracket for it and that he has to take it back to the shop to see if they have one there but also says he can’t come back out to actually fix my A/C today. He said it’s because they have him scheduled for other appointments after mine. But tells me to call the shop and speak to manager about it. I call the number I have for them and the recording says they are closed ( it was 3:25 pm). In the same recording they say their hours are 7-4:30. You can’t get ahold of this company. The tech seemed

American Air Conditioning & Heating are wonderful to work with. They are focused on customer service and care, not just making a sale. Raul and Manuel replaced one of our systems. They took the time to make sure we knew everything that was going to happen for the replacement, and when finished they walked us through the work.
