This was my first time working with American Air Conditioning and Heating. They were dispatched by my home warranty company (American Homeshield), which is always a gamble regarding the quality of service providers you get. From the service technicians (Larry and Juan) to the office staff (Brittany) I was so impressed with their service. Their digital communication (appointment confirmations, status updates and pictures of technicians) are professional and an added bonus. They helped me finalize details with my warranty company so we could get the parts we needed and the issues addressed swiftly. I highly recommend them!

I purchased new a/c unit with install from American Aug. 25, 2025. Called for service May 19, 2025.. plenum detaching from a/c unit in attic causing water / condensation drip. Although I advised those was rental property so I needed a call before tech left the property. I received no call.
May 20, 2025 I called and asked to speak to tech concerning estimate for repair and his determination that it was not caused by faulty install… left message with desk person.. they will call me back.
May 21, 2025 my follow up call.. I was told they would call me back at end of the day.
May 21, 2025 did get call back. Spoke with supervisor- Guillermo. He explained that the tech determined the house settled and that’s why plenum detached and got $432.07 they would fix. I initially refused to pay since still under warranty..but then agreed to pay however next day( Thursday) I called and let them know that I changed my mind about paying the scheduled Friday call out to make repairs. I insisted the repairs were covered under parts and labor warranty… Guillermo said connection failed due to settling… I told him entire house was leveled 2022 before A/C install. Guillermo said they would not cover repairs… I told him that I will not pay repair charges for scheduled appointment the next day. They cancelled the repair appointment…. I’m preparing for Small Claims in Bexar County Pct 2.

This is the first company I’ve ever used that actually has techs that know how to work on the units. The builder of my home used a bad AC company for the install so I’ve needed services a lot over the past few years and this company is the only one who could diagnose the problem promptly and had a solutions to fix it right away. Larry from American AC & Heating Co. is the best tech I’ve ever had and hopefully in the future I don’t need a fix, but if I do, this will be my company of choice!

Technician Larry Pierce was amazing. He was very polite, courteous very professional and knowledgeable. He immediately found the problem after completing some trouble shooting. Very impressed with American Air Conditioning and Heating.

I can’t say enough good things about American Air Conditioning & Heating Co and their amazing tech, Larry! My AC went out in the middle of the night during this brutal 100-degree heat, and I was dreading long waits just to hear back, followed by days before a repair. I was so wrong.

By 7:30 AM (that morning) they called me to set up a time, and to my surprise, they scheduled me for the same day! I was expecting 3–5 business days, but Larry showed up at 1 PM and had my AC up and running by 1:30 PM. That means I went from no AC to a cool, comfortable home in less than 14 hours total.

Larry was professional, thorough, and quick. He explained everything he was checking and made sure the fix was solid. By the time he left, my house was already cooling down and I couldn’t have been happier.

Larry, if you’re reading this—you are the man! Thank you for saving me from this Texas heat. I’m beyond impressed with the speed, service, and professionalism. Highly recommend this company to anyone!

Andrew and Raul came like captain America to save me from the sweltering heat inside my house! They were professional and explained to me what they were doing every step and Andrew even spayed down a wasps nest in my backyard. Thank you guys so much for everything!

I recently had an issue with my air conditioning and reached out to my home warranty provider. They scheduled a service call with American Air Condition and Heating Company, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.

Nate, the HVAC technician, gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was about 30 minutes out. He arrived right on time, was very professional, and took the time to listen as I explained the issue. He thoroughly inspected the system, quickly identified the problem, and resolved it efficiently.

Nate was not only knowledgeable but also courteous and respectful throughout the entire visit. The level of service he provided, along with the smooth coordination between American Air Condition and Heating Company and American Home Shield, was top-notch. I’m very satisfied and appreciative of how everything was handled from start to finish.

I had Andrew Pacheco out two days ago and his performance was outstanding! His troubleshooting skills are excellent and he is a very personable guy that represents his company well. I will ask for him by name should I need further repairs. Also, the office staff were very upbeat and pleasant to deal with. Excellent job all around! And the cost was very minimal…

Cory is always a delightful and professional. He found issues that could have created more serious probabkems and showed me everything before actually performing the jobs upon my request. He was very thorough with the paperwork and answering questions. I hope i always get him to come back!
