Always a professional experience from Smith & Sons Plumbing. They're very responsive, and were able to get me scheduled for service the same day I called. They do things the right way, and I appreciate their attention to detail. Definitely my first choice.

Smith & Son's has always taken care of us. Not only is Peter great, all of the folks there are honest, reliable, and respectful. Nick helped me out today and he could not have been a better guy. Looked under my house like no big deal, fixed our issue we called about, and also helped me troubleshoot about 5 other problems we are having on top of that. Never made me feel rushed or like I was a bother. Overall 5+ star company and 5+ star crew. I recommend them to anyone I know and use them at all my local shops. Thank you!

Smith And Sons, we had a great experience and outcome. Camden took care of the water heater issue. He was able to get a new water heater installed. Him and his helper were super polite, proactive, and professional. Of course I will recommend them for your plumbing needs!

I woke up to a broken shower knob and couldn't shut the water off after showering. I tried to fix it myself, big mistake! Called Smith & Sons Plumbing and the plumber (Chris) arrived within an hour of my call. I live in an old house and expected the plumber to have a difficult time finding replacement parts since the water supply cartridge did not even have a brand name on it. The plumber was back and replaced the parts and even replaced the knobs within an hour. This is the first time I have used this company and I highly recommend Smith & Sons. They are professional, knowledgeable, prompt, attentive, friendly and kind. I will definitely be calling Smith & Sons for any future plumbing needs. Thank you, Peter, Debbie and Staff. - Berta

Had our water heater replaced as it was 20 years old and started leaking. Smith plumbing was quick to respond and gave us a very reasonable estimate for a replacement and installation They worked quickly and got the hot water running quickly. We were impressed with the professionalism of the technician.

We asked Debbie to mention using new material for a project 3 times. We caught the staff taking 'short cuts' and not doing work matching the job description. They are over priced for attempting to install used material. The plumbers said Peter told them to use an old muddy piece of material to hold up a 400 pound appliance. I had to ask a 4th time for them to use new material. Very dishonest and no communication. We had to call them back to finish the job after they left us hanging to go to another job. Honestly, I wish they could have done better. Next time I will ask for another vendor most definitely not a place run by an owner like this one.

This company is top tier and will not let you down!! They are extremely knowledgeable, extremely professional and prompt treating every job with urgency and most importantly show up when they say they will. We have had them out on several occasions to solve various plumbing issues and locate and fix the problem. Do not hesitate to call these guys you will never need another plumber again!!!!!

I have used Smith & Sons on 3 occasions and have been impressed every time. Our plumber has always been punctual, friendly and courteous, providing us with quality work at a very reasonable price. They have always been available within a day of calling. They have gained our continued business and I would recommend Smith & Sons to any of my friends and family.

My parents were having plumbing issues and Peter and his crew were quick to check what was going on. They were very polite and thorough when explaining the issue which instilled a lot of trust. The repair was quick and my parents said everyone that went to work at their house was pleasant. My dad is a Spanish speaker so I appreciated when they called me and explained everything to me as well, to make sure I knew what was going on. Communication and customer service was great, on top of the efficient labor they did. I’m very happy with the service provided by this company.

I have had a few highly disappointing experiences with Smith and Son Plumbing. Debbie, the secretary, is extremely rude and unhelpful. Despite me specifying my availability, she repeatedly scheduled plumbers at times I couldn't be home, then blamed me for missed appointments to my property manager. It took several frustrating conversations before an alternative arrangement was offered.

The plumbers themselves are untrustworthy. They consistently provided misleading information. To me, they claimed issues like "old pipes" or "minor fixes," but reported completely different problems to the property manager, such as "hair in drains," "clogs," or falsely stating I didn't have a stopper. In reality, the supposed clogs were minimal and wouldn't cause blockages, and I did have a stopper which they removed for photos.

I suspect they might be in cahoots with the property management company or simply taking advantage to ensure more work for themselves. Their visits are brief, usually less than five minutes, and the problems persist after they leave. This results in me having to fight unjust charges due to their inconsistent and dishonest reporting.

Overall, I found Smith and Son Plumbing to be unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Both employees were very professional, courteous, explained process during installation. They were on time, cleaned their work area after project. I would recommend Smith and Sons to family and friends

My parents needed someone to look at their upstairs sink and the piping involved. I called Smith and Sons and the owner, Peter, came over quickly and assessed the issue and gave my parents an explanation about what was going on and how they were going to do their best not have to go through the wall to fix the problem which was what they were worried about. The following day, they reached out and set up an appointment for a time that was convenient for my parents. The plumbers who came over to fix the issue were very thorough and really looked into the best solution for them. They were very happy with the work that was done and I know they will use them again and so will I if I ever need any work done as well. Thank you Smith and Sons! You truly are one of the best plumbing services here in San Antonio.

Great service by Ben and John, they were professional and answered all my questions regarding the installation of the kitchen dishwasher . The receptionist did a great job when I called about my appointment. I highly recommend Smith & Sons plumbing and will be calling them back for a washer/dryer installation .

Prompt service and very professional. They take pictures to show the problem, and as a landlord, I find it very professional that they step outside to call me to tell me what they found instead of doing it in front of the tenant, thank you for your professionalism.

Have to give it up for Ben (who did the install), Debbie (who did the scheduling) and Peter (who helped make quick changes to estimate) for all of their collective help in resolving a several months-old dilemma and getting hot water back to my house!

I was pleased with their responsiveness, their work, their prices and attitudes throughout. Also? The attention to detail and thoroughness. I had three different plumbers come out for quotes and they were the only ones who were aware of some specific codes relating to placement of the enclosure - the others did not catch this and would have been against code.

I hope I don't have any plumbing issues again - but if I do, they're easily the guys I'd call.
