We are so pleased with Freedom Maids and highly recommend the company. The house had gotten away from us. Years of accumulation of stuff we didn't need was removed with careful consideration and kept items were organized. The house also received a deep cleaning. Maury and his team went above and beyond in their efforts to restore, organize and clean our space. We were treated with respect, compassion and support throughout this process. Maury showed professionalism, attention to detail, and a vast knowledge of expertise in home repairs and maintenance. He, along with the team showed such care and empathy and made a difficult situation much easier. We couldn't be happier with this experience and company!

Freedom Homes Services was the answer to our problems. They helped us donate items to the appropriate charities so they wouldn’t go to waste. They carefully cleaned our home throughly and followed our directions exactly.
They were on time and worked continuously during the day. If they were unsure about something they consulted with us before proceeding. We were in control of the cleaning and item removal during the entire process.
Pricing was very reasonable and we feel the money was well spent.
Maury, owner, and Luis and Martha, the team that worked with us, were always respectful and sensitive to our concerns and needs.
We highly recommend that this company be considered for your project when you need thorough cleaning with detailed attention to your specific needs.

Can't say enough about Maury and his team. They were extremely easy to work with and did an outstanding job cleaning a home for me. The house was in extremely bad shape to say the least. Very compassionate and hard-working team. Would recommend them to anyone who asks!!!

Absolutely great team to work with. My father had passed away and his home was in a horrid state, attempted to clean myself, but it was overwhelming. Contacted Maury and he was willing to meet for an estimate. After the estimate, he was willing to work with me on cost and once it was locked in, they started right away. The project manager and the team did an amazing job, they were on site early and even finished ahead of schedule. The place looked brand new. Great people to work with! I highly recommend!

My family and I used Freedom Maids in 2024 for an emergency clean up job on a loved one's very cluttered home. Our loved likes to buy and sell things and stuff got way out of hand with the inventory. Essential areas of the home needed to be made safe (aka free of clutter trip hazards), functional and clean for our loved one and Maury's crew made it happen. They were there on time and performed the job as described. They came with moving boxes, bags, a trailer...pretty much everything that was needed. They sorted, boxed up, moved around, hauled off, organized and they also cleaned as they went. We had a two-person crew, very efficient, respectful of the property and the belongings of the owner. They only threw away what our loved one wanted thrown away.

Helping someone sort through and clean a massive amount of belongings is a niche cleaning service and I'm very grateful that we found an affordable company that has so much experience with these special type of jobs. I really can't thank them enough for helping us out with such an overwhelming and daunting task. This company is also able to help with repairs, which we're looking in to now that the living spaces are more accessible. We're looking forward to continue working with them in the future to meet our goals for the home.

Wow! I admit it - I'm a Shopaholic and a Hoarder. But Freedom Maids has come to my rescue.
After 40 years in my home - weathering hurricanes, ice storms and Houston's heat, my house looks like an archaeological excavation site.
But no worries. I was introduced to Maury and his Freedom Maids service. Maury got me to come to grips with having to let go of things. I started at being willing to give up 30%. But with his tutelage and my delayed reckoning - I'm now up for parting with at least 50% of my worldly possessions.
His two efficient organizing, packing and discarding specialists made quick and easy work of getting through and dispositioning many things I hadn't seen or touched in years.
Now, I'm on a self-imposed mission to take photos, remember, release and renew. So I say, "Thank you Freedom Maids, Maury, 'M' and 'L' - you have given me room to be more myself."

Recently we experienced the passing of a family member. They resided in Houston TX and we reside in Ohio. Our family members home needed to be cleared and cleaned so Freedom came to our rescue. Maury organized this effort which needed to consider the neighborhood and how best to get there trailers into tight quarters.

During their work we had constant contact with Freedoms crew and on the fly adjustments to the work we're achieved in real time. I have never experienced such efficiency, consideration and competency as we did with Freedom Home Home Services.

Maury and his crew were compassionate, careful, kind and efficient. They went above and beyond to help us pack up a loved one's home, even helping us pick up a rental van when we had a hitch in the pick up location. Maneuvering this move from out of state was challenging, but we are very thankful for Maury and his team. He arranged for the packing crew as well as recommended a great realtor. Communication was great throughout the entire process. Maury's cost estimate was accurate with no hidden fees or up-charges. He turned an overwhelming process into a huge blessing. I highly recommend this company on all levels.

Maury Hammond accepted a very difficult job. He and every member of his crew treated our family with the utmost respect during the entire process. Five stars is not enough for the work they completed especially in Houston heat with no air conditioning.

Maury sent out a 2 person crew and in less than a full day they completely removed all the trash from the house and deep cleaned the entire kitchen including inside the fridge. The floors were spotless and the bathrooms shined. I was super pleased with everything they did!

The project was to clean out my mother’s house. For the past 20 years she has lived as a hoarder, it was just easier to let her live as she chose then to fight with her. However, at 86 it had become unsafe to allow her to continue to live in the environment she had chosen. The problem was how to even start. I googled hoarding cleanup and found Freedom Maids. Maury came out to meet with me and while surveying the property educated me on the process. He was so very personal and sympathetic to the challenges I was facing with and aging parent that was resistant and fighting me every step of the way. After speaking with Maury we had a plan the project would take 4-5 days to complete. Thanks to my amazing crew Marta, Luis and Adan and 14 days later, 2 larger dumpsters full of removed trash and so many trips to donation centers I lost count. The house was completely clean from ceilings to floors, repairs were made on Sheetrock, railing installed, clothing racks assembled and installed. The wonderful thing about Freedom Maids is the company does it all, and more. I am truly grateful to have found such wonderful people to work with. I had an excellent experience with Freedom Maids. They helped clear-out and deep clean my father's entire home. Their approach was thoughtful, respectful, and incredibly thorough from start to finish.

They worked closely with me to carefully sort through everything - separating trash and broken items, setting aside valuables and sentimental items, and identifying items to donate. Nothing felt rushed, and they were very mindful when handling personal belongings. Once everything was sorted, they packed and labeled boxes clearly, grouped items together, and stored them so that the space stayed functional.

The team handled all the heavy lifting, including trash removal, hauling donations to a local charity, and transporting items for storage. After decluttering was complete, they did a detailed cleaning and sanitation of the home. The difference was incredible - rooms were restored to their original purpose, walkways were clear and safe, and the entire space felt fresh.

The team was professional, efficient, and kind throughout what could have been an overwhelming process. If you need help clearing, organizing, donating, and deep cleaning, I highly recommend their services.

A service that you think you would never need. An uncle recently came back into my life and I found him living in an awful environment. Freedom Maids and the absolute Dream Team of Martha and Luis made this massive clean-up job go off without a hitch. They are the nicest and hardest-working people I have ever met. This was a total clean job of a two-story apartment and me moving my uncle to a nearby one-story, one-bedroom apartment. Thank you so much, Martha and Luis. 😇
