Tavitas has been cleaning my home for several years. She and her crew are prompt, courteous, and leave my home spotless every time.

Incomplete, sub-par cleaning results and items taken from home.

I was quoted $180-240 for a deep cleaning. Tavita and her worker arrived 2.5 hours late and was told it was due to an accident, which I understood, but it just went downhill from there. Her attitude was poor and cleaning results were as well. The house was practically empty and the only thing that required heavy lifting was the oven. She looked around the house and kept saying how much work it was going to be and like a used car salesman she wiped her hand on the blinds to show me how much dust was on them. I was confused because I ordered a deep clean and she acted like she didn’t understand that a deep clean=a lot of work. She gave me a final quote of $300 and I told her I was quoted a top of $240. She said for that price it would exclude the oven or the floor boards. It was so late at that point I couldn’t back out and figured that if she got it all done and done well, then $300 was fair.

Results=Master bathroom not cleaned. Kitchen sink, refrigerator, countertops not cleaned. Not all the blinds were cleaned. Mantel not cleaned. It was hard to tell at first glance because the previous person left the house in pretty good condition. The floors in the bathroom have wood floors and until I used a Swiffer to see if they cleaned the floors, they just went around the rugs. She took a small bottle of wine and a professional grade spray bottle.

Complaint=I called to complain and I was told “everyone has a bad day” and ultimately, I was offered a discount for my next cleaning and a promise it would be done right and complete. I responded back that the right thing to do was to give a partial refund as I will not be hiring her again and never received a response.

Items taken= Tavita said that there was an accident with the bottle of wine and when I mentioned the professional grade spray bottle later (discovered when I was looking for it), I was told that it was also an accident, that when doing a deep clean they clear everything out, but if that was the case they would have cleared the other items that were next to the spray bottle, the other bottle of wine and other random stuff left in the house.

Cash only means no way to dispute charges.

I have been using Tavita's services for at least 3-4 years now. First at my old house in the Woodlands, now at my house in Cypress.
