HVAC reviews in Tomball, Texas

My AC went out under home warranty. The company sent three technicians out, the second one of them being Access Air. They were on time and gave me a physical paper diagnosis of what is wrong with my system as well as the readings, what they meant and what they should be. They also were willing to send me the direct quote even though it was meant for the home warranty.
The home warranty claim dragged on until I got to choose my contractor and I chose Access Air. The front desk staff seemed sympathetic to my specific scenario and went above and beyond to get me scheduled and keep me updated on the status.
The day of install, the installers were here right on time. They completed the work and were thorough and friendly. There weren’t any “oh we’ll have to come back in two days,” they stayed until it was complete (which took it into the evening). I was thoroughly impressed to their commitment.
They also called and checked to make sure the system was working and drove over the final paid invoice and the warranty information for my new equipment.
I’m a DIY person who is exceptionally critical of contractors because of how expensive they usually are, but this was out of my wheelhouse so I knew I needed an expert install. Access was awesome all steps of the way and had a competitive quote (I ended up with 4 total quotes for comparison). I have a second unit that is 20 years old and I’ll probably call Access Air when it finally quits! -
Highly Recommend. I had an issue with my AC compressor. They responded quickly and sent a super friendly and knowledgeable tech out SAME DAY! He had the issue fixed in less than 30 minutes and best of all the price was very affordable. I will certainly use them again and refer my friends if they have HVAC issues!

Ali and his team at Access Air are fantastic. Recently used them when my AC went out. Ali and one of his team members was out the very next morning to take care of the issue and I was back up and running before lunch. Excellent service, communication, and execution. Would recommend to anyone!!

Ali has assisted me with several clients to correct faulty & non code-compliant HVAC safety issues & concerns as we provided general roof repair and/or roof replacements for our clients. His price is fair, and I can trust that he'll get the job completed correctly so that customer safety is priority. Ali & the Access Air team will remain my go-to source for any HVAC related concerns that are found while performing attic & roofing inspections at 314 Roofing Solutions.

Ali is one of the best in the business, we’ve been using him and his team for 5+ years. He has serviced our company, 314 Roofing Solutions since we bought our building, and also provided maintenance and service to our home A/C units. He is as honest as you can ask for, and always delivers with great service and prices. We have recommended him multiple times for full replacements and have heard nothing but thank you’s from the referrals! Can’t go wrong with this company! 10 Stars ⭐️ if possible!

Can’t recommend Ali and his team enough! We've needed his services at my place of work and his customer service as well as quality is fantastic. One of the most reliable people we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Trust Ali with any HVAC needs!

They built my system in a new construction home about 12 months ago. It’s gone out 5-6 times in the last 10 months. 1 Star is too high.
-
Very difficult to get in contact with, even when you are under warranty. If you are out of warranty, good luck in getting them to call you. There’s better out there.

Deep blue installed the entire a/c system in my house. It’s a new build home and the system is not functioning correctly. I’ve called for them to come out over 5 times within a 3 month span. The staff is unprofessional, from techs being tardy to schedulers lack of response. Not until I “fussed” to the builder was I taken seriously, prior I was never given a report of the unit levels or work preformed. Always ask for documentation b/c they say whatever sounds good just to “‘make the homeowner happy”

Just terrible. Brand new home with leaking vent system. Came to "fix" the issue once, only at the behest of the developer and countless complaints. Wasn't fixed, kept leaking. Sheet rock damaged again and had to be cut open. They claimed there was no evidence or proof of water damage, despite very clear and evident water damage. In the photo you can even see the water stain on the paper. Still leaks! Now they won't return our phone calls, and they've left a sizeable hole in our ceiling. They even tried to bill us despite not fixing anything. Terrible company. Would never recommend to anyone under any condition.

Complete disaster . Installed new HVAC system on my new build the duct work is horrible , vents condensate and did not even add the proper lines . Please don’t use this company . If they were not the original installer and i didn’t have warranty i would not even allow them to Fix what they destroyed . Go hire some professionals !

This business failed to properly design, install and commission the HVAC system in my new construction home (purchased in 2020). The system is a single split system with three zones controlled by actuated dampers. System deficiencies include no splash guard installed, zone bleed rate not configured, no barometric damper to relieve pressure buildup during low-flow operation, line set undersized for installed length, wrong diameter insulation was used on line set (1" vs. 7/8") causing liquid to fill insulation annular space, the furnace was not installed properly on its stands, the slope of the evaporator box and plenum were incorrect, and overall the quality of the split system hardware was poor. The system deficiencies caused performance and reliability issues which caused two compressor failures, a capacitor failure, and liquid accumulation inside the evaporator box which rusted holes in the evaporator box itself causing water to drain from the bottom of the evaporator box into the emergency pan during normal operation. Please note that the primary drain line was properly maintained and never malfunctioned. I attempted to address my concerns with the business via dozens of emails and phone calls. This included damage that the business caused to the condenser unit during one of the warranty service calls. The business refused to investigate under warranty claim and eventually resorted to name calling. The business only expressed an interest to investigate after I advised the business that I had hired another HVAC company to inspect the system. To compensate me for the cost of this inspection, the business offered to perform two seasonal checkups on the system at no cost to me, but made no attempt to identify nor rectify any of the system deficiencies. I believe this speaks to the lack of expertise within the business to design, install and commission HVAC systems of this nature. I ultimately made the decision to replace the entire system.

I noticed water damage in the ceiling, which is just below the attic floor where the HVAC unit sits after 5 years of owning my newly constructed home.
I observed condensate leaking out of the coil housing and I traced it back to the root cause due to a missing part which was not installed by Deep Blue Comfort during construction.
The missing part is the condensate pan extension and as noted in the manual it states "All condensate should flow from the pan extension to the plastic condensate pan and not leak into the coil cabinet or duct." Since the pan extension is missing, the water leaked into the cabinet and eventually through the attic onto to my ceiling.
Deep Blue Comfort is not taking responsibility to fix the problem their negligence and incompetence created claiming out of labor warranty and that they can't control if other contractors are working around a new home. -
Honestly, I wish I could give this poorly ran company no stars. They messed up the install on the HVAC in my new build home. This resulted in mold inside the plenum as well as multiple wet vents. I ended up needing mold remediation due to this subpar work that occurred. I would have never used this company by choice. I’ve had so many service calls and I still have wet vents after 5+ months. We now have to get a new AC company since Deep blue is incompetent. I’ve never received my records after many request. I’ve put the request in writing as well as phone calls that Fallon, the owner - Miguel, and other techs won’t return. Why are they unable to give simple service records? My builder has even tried to reach out. My whole neighborhood has issues due to this horrible company! Not one resident in my neighborhood has had a good experience. There is a reason they only have bad reviews. Do yourself a favorite and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
** The photos show mold inside the plenum as well as my wet vents. See for yourself the type of work they really do!** -
It took over 20 visits and they were still unable to fix the issues they created during installation. But what else would you expect from a company that can’t even do the initial hookup correctly. They had insulation blowing all through my house and didn’t even bother to clean it up. My vents are still wet. Their fix was just to replace the vent. They didn’t solve the issue of what’s causing it. We had another AC company out to fix all these issues they created. Deep blue doesn’t return calls. I am still unable to get my service records. Do not use this company unless you like being lied to and having more issues occur.

Deep Blue has the contract with the builder who built my home. Allegedly, Deep Blue was not the same company who installed my system, but they were sent out to address my AC going out after 9 months. Brian was the technician that was sent out, and I was thankful he was able to add refrigerant as a band aid repair. He stated they will be back within 2 weeks to formally locate the leak, and make necessary repairs. I didn’t hear from them during those two weeks, and I failed to follow up myself. Well, my AC went out again and when I called them for repair, they said the evaporator coil was leaking bc I didn’t change my air filter and it created too much pressure on the lines and system. I was also told I’m responsible for the labor of $2,500 as this was caused by homeowner negligence. (First owner of house, lived in 9 months). I found it odd they were able to determine the problem all of the sudden. After two days of trying to get deep blue to my house for repairs, I decided to reach out to Davis AC. Davis did a thorough inspection and determined the leak was from the TXV valve joint, and it was a $1,600 repair. Mostly for refrigerant. The bottom line is, don’t trust deep blue. Getting in touch with service manager, waiting on service reports, and fraudulent diagnosis are complete red flags from any company that truly wants to serve its customers. I wouldn’t allow them in my house even if they said they build an entire new system for free.

Brian and his team did a thorough job of diagnosing the problem, suggesting the solution and executing on the agreed plan. The team arrived on time, conducted themselves professionally and finished the work before time. The invoice we received had a detailed description of all the work they did to replace the two gas furnaces. Brian came back and did the walk through with me and had one of his team members come back to complete what he felt needed to be done. Impressive!

Met Brian for a home comfort forensic issue. Brian is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to building science and home comfort. He knows how to show us the invisible with his tools and techniques.
Thank you Crossway Mechanical for the help!
