We just purchased our first home a month ago. Yesterday we had an electrical smell and the AC went out. We looked up HVAC. Found 1st Gen and called them due to their reviews. Eric came out within an hour and thank God found the problem and had the parts in his truck. AC back on! 🙌🏼

Fast Service & Great work! We needed a HVAC technician to come out after hours. Eric called under an hour and came out to service our unit. He was honest and polite he did what he could to keep us comfortable for the weekend. We did end up having to get a new unit. Eric was able to get us an estimate in a timely manner. Our AC unit’s capacitor went out over the weekend. Called 1st Gen Monday morning and Eric came out diagnosed the issue and provided reasonably priced options. By mid morning, our house was cool again. Very respectful, thorough, and professional. I would recommend Eric and 1st Gen if you’re having any sort of AC issues.

Eric and his crew were amazing! My A/C went out on Monday and one of my neighbors recommended 1st Gen. I called around 4:30pm and Eric was at my house within 15 minutes. He confirmed my A/C coil was out and explained my options. He even called to find out if it was still under warranty. On Tuesday, I told him I wanted to get the entire attic unit replaced, and on Wednesday morning they were at my house at the scheduled time ready to go! He even honored my request for the brand of unit I wanted. He warranties his work, the crew cleaned up before they left, and Eric explained everything to me throughout the process. He even showed me pictures of what was broken. Did I mention they did all this while it was pouring rain outside & COLD!?! 1st Gen's prices are also the best! Out of 3 large company quotes, Eric's price was about $2K less! Once they left, Eric registered my new system for me, ensuring my warranty was activated. Such nice guys and AMAZING customer service. I can't recommend 1st Gen Heating & Air enough! 10 outta 10. A+. 10 stars. 100%.

Fast, reliable service. Attempted to get manufacturer to honor the warranty. Responded to our first call the same day. Repairman was informative and explained the issue, provided options and completed his work quickly and neatly. Will definitely use again when needed.

I’m very pleased with my furnace tune-up. Eric arrived on time and worked quickly! He charged a reasonable price to replace a part and even changed out my air filter for me. He also vacuumed up insulation that fell from my attic hatch, which I appreciated. I’d highly recommend 1st Gen Heating and Air.

Found these guys when looking for a LOCAL contract. Page said they closed at 10pm and it was 945pm. Called anyway expecting to get voicemail. To my GREAT surprise they answered and were able to come out the following morning at 9am. Showed up on time and ready to fix the issue. Found the issue quickly and got the parts ordered so Monday would be quick and easy. And it was just that. Showed up at noon Monday replaced a valve recharged a little bit of refrigerant and house is cool again. I would highly recommend this small local company they are awesome!!

Back on April 29th of this year, our HVAC system decided to retire. We had just purchased the home in Sept of 2016 and knew the system was old, but we weren't expecting it to fail so soon. We were new in town and didn't know who to trust, after a few calls to contractors and listening to they're patchy repair/replace tactics, we had to get serious and find someone with credibility and with the best customer reviews. We found Wayne Price and called him for an estimate. He came out and did a free estimate and he was not only thorough in looking at everything inside and out, spending some time in our hot attic to redesign our whole plenum and duct system, but he was very thorough in explaining to us in detail everything he would do to build a whole new complete HVAC system for us and exactly how much it would cost. We were worried at first that it would cost us an arm/leg, but were very excited when he gave us a price way below other contractors and with the confidence he inspired on us, we didn't worry that it would be cheap materials or equipment. So, on May 1st, bright and early, his crew began with demo of the old condenser, fan coil unit, all the duct work, plenum, boots and diff-users and in as little as two days, they had finished all the demo and completed the new installs, leaving the house very clean each evening when they left. I don't mind including that while performing the installs in the attic that they had a young apprentice who accidentally stepped through our living room ceiling, although this would normally be a BIG problem, Wayne promptly had a trusted contractor out to make the ceiling repair and paint and there was not any sign of damage. After all was finished, air balance and a few tweaks to the duct/plenum, we have a complete new system that has performed top notch! We couldn't have been any happier than we are now and knowing that we have Wayne Price for maintenance and available should we have any future issues is a very peace of mind for us. We highly recommend Wayne Price for any HVAC installs or repairs and can't thank him enough for the very fair, honest and friendly staff that he employs....THANK YOU WAYNE PRICE!!!!

I would like to take a minute to say how pleasantly surprised I was with the excellent job Wayne and his crew did installing my hvac system and the information provided to me. Now, installing a new system is something we don't experience very often so needless to say I was totally lost on where to even begin. I had some other companies come by and give estimates but they were in and out and didn't take the time and explain things. I can honestly say when Wayne Price left my house I felt like I had the answers I needed. I could not be more happy about the choice I made when I chose Wayne Price and I will recommend this company to everyone.

Excellent job done. Friendly two guys that did the install. Mr. Wayne Price came out to give estimate himself. Verify what had to be done. Had replaced the a/c and inside furnace replaced. Very reasonable in price. Would recommend WAYNE PRICE HEATING AND AIR in waxahachie.

We we’re very pleased with the professionalism along with honest feedback of what was wrong with our ac. We had already received other quotes with pretty much a “your whole unit needs to be replaced “ mentality. Once Wayne came over and inspected then unit then John came over and fixed it, just in time for the hotter days upon us. These gentleman were awesome.

Josh was awesome. So was his wingman who I'm sorry I didn't catch his name. I called them early this am and they were here in less than an hour. My ac was blowing hot and cool air. Mostly hot air after a power surge.The workers were efficient, honest and professional. I'm ready now for whatever this crazy Texas weather has to throw at me. So thankful to the Wayne Price Heating and Air team.

Recently we had to have a complete new system in our home. In the past few days with this very cold weather the temperature inside was very comfortable. I was never this warm with the other unit we had unless the thermostat was set on Emergency Heat which is very expensive to run. The air coming through the vents was cold but the new Bryant system air was so nice and warm. Wayne and his helper, Danny, are both very considerate and really hard workers. After 15 years of knowing Wayne I can certainly recommend him and you can depend on Wayne to give excellent service.

Wayne Price and team are AWESOME!!!
Our unit stopped cooling late one evening. We called the company that conducted a Maint. check last year, and they responded promptly. The tech was very nice and began checking the system and told me everything that was wrong. We were charged HUNDREDS of dollars for a part that cost $53 and took him five minutes to replace. I was given an estimate without a breakdown for things he found wrong in the addict. He verified the warranty and we were still looking at THOUSANDS of dollars for a project that would take less than an hour to complete. I was given the ”speech” about using quality parts. I contacted the warranty company to discuss my concerns. The representative told me to contact Wayne Price and assured me that his team would take care of us. I called, Josh came right out. He checked the units and explained his findings. He even walked through the house checking the air flow and measured the vents. He verified the warranty and completed repairs that were urgent. Wayne is putting a plan together to complete the other things that are needed. I'm so glad that I was told about the company and will forever be a loyal customer.
