Had a backed up drain. Worked for a few hours to get it working and couldn't. Called Rare Breed and Chandler came the next day. Got here when they said he would, went through my entire system and gave me some decent pointers on keeping the drains clean. Would recommend to friends.

Here are the things I liked about my experience with Rare Breed Plumbing: the receptionist is super-nice, they were willing to give me a free estimate, and their estimate was $100 less than their competitor, so I went with them. Greg and Nathan were personable and they did great work.

They solved my plumbing and filter under my sink and were amazing! They responded quick and were so easy to communicate with. Very helpful and sweet! They did a great job and I was able to get an appointment within a couple days. We’ve found ourselves a new plumber that’s for sure! Highly recommend.

Brody and Chandler came to fix a sink drain pipe leaking in our wall. They were very professional and located the issue quickly. 1.5 hours later the repair was completed. They were courteous and did not make a mess.

I Want to express my sincere gratitude to Court Lundberg and his employee Daniel for their prompt and service and restoring our water heater after a previous company did not install it up to code.

Their attention to detail and desire to educate my husband and I about what was done wrong and what the did to fix the issue was a breath of fresh air!

This was a great experience, from the beginning. Miguel and Kylie were awesome. Explained everything well, had mats down and shoe covers. They did great cleanup afterwards

Brody and Parker arrived when they said they would (rare these days for any service-related appointment). They diagnosed and gave me an estimate in just a few minutes and had the work done in about an hour. Excellent!

I had a routine furnace inspection performed by Daniel. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He noticed some irregular noises with the original furnace unit in my house and guided me through my options without unnecessary pressure. He went above and beyond by contacting the manufacturer to check the warranty status and shared his recommendations.

More recently, I received a plumbing inspection from Miguel and Ash. They were great as well. They showed up, walked me through all of the important fittings and potential points of failure and noted any concerns, again without unnecessary pressure. We discussed routine maintenance and areas to focus between inspections. They provided quick and simple cost estimates for minor future repairs

Great service overall. I'll continue to rely on Rare Breed for their services.

I think I've found the plumber we'll be using from now on! They were amazing. All I had was a leaking washer hookup which is exactly what they told me it was. There was no embelishing or creating additional problems. I especially appreciated their transparency with everything by letting me know all the options and explaining what everything means. The service charge is reasonable and very affordable to have them diagnose the problem. Will definitely be going to them from now on!

Rare Breed did a fantastic job of helping replace a bathtub in my 100 year old home. They worked quickly and were extremely upfront on their progress throughout the job. When they encountered an unforeseen issue (poor craftsmanship on the original bathtub install), they helped coordinate a tiler to come out same day to redo the problematic area. Huge shoutout to both Miguel and Nathan for their professionalism and general attitude throughout the day.

I had Nathan H. and Miguel L. come out to our spa to help replace some of the faucets, connection lines and put in a new water softener. They were so friendly, helpful and fast! They showed up on time and exceeded my expectations with the service! I would 100% use this company again for my business’s plumbing needs! Thank you so much!

**Incomplete Work - Paid Thousands for "Full Repipe" That Wasn't Complete**

I hired RareBreed Plumbing in April 2024 for what was sold to me as a complete replacement of all galvanized steel piping in my home. I paid thousands of dollars based on this understanding. I trusted this company because the owner, Court, had previously done excellent work at my home before he owned RareBreed.

Unfortunately, this experience was drastically different:

**Professionalism Issues:**
- Two plumbers argued with each other throughout the workday while in my home
- What should have been a professional job turned into an all-day event
- By the end of the day, 5-6 plumbers were in my house trying to finish the work
- I had to speak with the crew leader about the unprofessional behavior

**Incomplete Work:**
- About a week after the original work, I had to call them back because the P-trap under my bathroom sink was leaking due to incorrect measurements
- On Christmas Eve 2025, I discovered water on my bathroom floor
- The source was a leaking shutoff valve connected to OLD, CORRODED, RUSTED galvanized steel pipes that were NEVER REPLACED during the "complete repipe"
- I had to make multiple trips to Home Depot on Christmas Eve to purchase galvanized steel pipe and repair it myself
- I sent them photos clearly showing painted galvanized steel pipes with old paint rings, proving they predate the April 2024 work
- During the callback for the P-trap repair, workers were directly under this sink yet never addressed or replaced these corroded pipes

**Company Response:**
When I called to address the unreplaced galvanized steel pipes, I was told on the phone that only drainage pipes are under warranty. This completely misses the point - these galvanized steel water lines should have been replaced during the ORIGINAL work in April 2024 as part of the complete pipe replacement I paid for. I was told Verbally, all pipes except copper would be replaced - that's why I agreed to spend thousands of dollars.

I sent an email requesting a written explanation of why these pipes were not replaced as promised. The company has not responded to my email request.

**Bottom Line:**
I paid thousands of dollars for complete pipe replacement and received incomplete work. The corroded galvanized steel pipes I discovered on Christmas Eve should have been replaced when I paid for the job in April 2024. I cannot recommend this company based on this experience.

If you hire RareBreed Plumbing, I strongly recommend:
- Getting extremely detailed written quotes specifying exactly which pipes will be replaced
- Taking before and after photos of ALL work areas
- Inspecting all work thoroughly before final payment
- Being prepared for potential professionalism issues during the work

Brody and Gibb with Rare Breed Plumbing were fantastic. They came out and repaired a leaking sink and also cleared a stubborn clog for me, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Both were extremely personable, professional, and clearly knowledgeable—they’re a true asset to their team. They took the time to explain what was going on, worked efficiently, and left everything clean when they were done. On top of that, the price was very reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will absolutely call again for any future plumbing needs!

Jered is the most compatant control technician I have ever found and I have been an Union HVAC technician since the 70s. Great response time great service if I need my BAS to do something new he just writes a program and gets me what I need. Reasonable rates and very nice to work with. I highly recommend JRE controls.
