Scotty came out to do scheduled maintenance cleaning of my system. He did a great job, he was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I am very happy with the service I was given.I would also recommend him to anyone needing a furnace tune up. Thank you Scotty.

We signed up for a discounted tune-up service through Home Depot and Mountain Air Conditioning and Heating happened to be the company that came to perform the service. During the tune-up, the technician claimed to have found an issue with our air conditioner, which was less than a year old and had been working perfectly fine. They strongly suggested we move forward with further diagnostics to check for a coolant leak, which would have cost us around $500.

Since the unit was still under warranty, we decided to contact the company that installed it to see if the issue would be covered. To our shock, we discovered that Mountain Air Conditioning and Heating was the same company that installed our unit!!—they just didn’t realize it at the time!

We called the office back and explained that their technician had identified a possible coolant leak which should be covered under our warranty. They sent out another technician, who gave us a completely different story, saying everything was working fine and that there was no problem at all. This was extremely distressing proof that they were just trying to charge us extra money for a problem that didn’t exist.

Do not trust these people! Their practices are dishonest and they were clearly trying to take advantage of us. We will never use their services again and strongly advise others to steer clear as well.

Mike and Finn were great! They were very courteous, pleasant and thorough. They found a few issues during the AC tune up, explained them, had photos and they took care of them. Awesome service!

Very impressed with Mountain Air Conditioning and Heating. Carson was awesome going over the systems and choices. Chase B. and his helper were fantastic. Worked long hours to get the job done right. Mike M. came over and was amazing getting everything on point and explaining the thermostat and app. Scott and another project manager were great also. Highly recommended this company!

Mike did a great job at getting my furnace up and running. A tiny spider web had stopped it from getting enough air. He cleaned it out and get me running in less then 30 minutes. Great customer service for a last minute call on the Saturday.

Zack and Scotty came out and serviced our ac. They were very polite and knowledgeable. They were able to help with our settings to maximize our energy usage while keeping us cool. They even were great with our dog and petted him and gave him the attention he needs! They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves and must have swept up the dust and dirt from going in and outside the house. Thanks Mountain Air!

Steve and Scott installed my new furnace less than 24 hours after the initial visit from Chad. Mountain Air gave my family the best Christmas gift I could ever imagine. You have my business for the rest of my life.

Rodolfo and Zach came by to check out my aging unit. Despite being original to the home and clearly on its last leg, they still diligently worked through a full diagnostic. At the end, they provided me a number of options like a partial repair, complete repair, and explained how these could be credited towards other services.

What I appreciated most was their candid feedback and willingness to explain the “what” and “why” they were doing throughout the diagnostic. It felt more like I was working with friendly coworkers and less like I’d called a company to help me. I can confidently say it was technicians, not salesman, that showed up at my door. Their sales group is a separate department and they only come out upon your request.

This company is clearly one of the larger ones in the area and I was apprehensive to call. However, at the recommendation of a neighbor, I’m glad I called and I wasn’t let down. If this is their standard for service then I can strongly recommend them to others. Thank you to Rodolfo and Zach for their help and patience today, I greatly appreciated it.

Scotty came to service our furnace today and was so helpful, informative and professional. He gave me great tips and went above and beyond just a routine tune up. He didn’t pressure us to buy things we don’t need and was very thorough. We will always use Mountain Home services for our house needs!

Mike M was great at explaining the nuances of my AC unit and helped me understand what was going on with it. Fantastic that he was able to come on the weekend (and not charged an arm and a leg) and got all the repairs done quickly. Very much appreciated the work and getting the house cooled down again. He provided info for next time and other options available like duct cleaning, purifier, etc. He definitely enjoys what he does.

Scotty was very professional and helpful, and walked me through exactly what issues my furnace and hot water heater are having, as well as solution options. He also worked with his colleagues to quickly generate a quote for new equipment, with competitive prices and financing included. I’ll absolutely work with this company again, and will recommend them to family and friends.

Mountain Air responded to my call in less than an hour and came out to repair my furnace in less than 12 hours from my call. It’s great that they are open on weekends which reflects their stance on providing great customer service. Mike M was very personable and polite. He provided outstanding service! Mike was thorough on troubleshooting, explaining the repair needed, providing the estimate, and completing the repairs. He took the time to ensure quality repair. I was so impressed with the service I received today from Scott & Rodney. They were very professional and exceeded my expectations with my new AC insulation. They were kind enough to answer all of my questions and treated my home and family with respect. I will gladly use them for any future needs. Shout out to Matt in the sales department as well. I’m always so impressed with the polite and professional techs from Mountain Air. Rodolfo was no exception! We bought our AC and furnace almost six years ago and haven’t had a single problem. We are on their service agreement plan and it’s worth every penny (though it’s already a super reasonable cost). I also like how they send a detailed report at the end of the appointment. Great suggestions for upgrades without any of the salesman-y pressure. I highly recommend them!

I just got a new furnace and heat pump installed. Mountain air was great to work with. They worked hard to make sure I got what I needed within my budget. The techs who did my install, Travis and Rodney, did a great job. They were very friendly and helpful with explaining my new equipment and answering my questions. They did a great job installing everything and cleaning up afterwards. I'm very happy I chose this company.

I had scheduled an furnace tune up and Rodolfo gave me a call as he was on the way and arrived right in the middle of the window I was given. He was very professional and friendly and got right to work. Once he was finished he let me know that there were no problems with the system but the ducts were dusty. I asked for a quote and he provided a full quote for what a cleaning would cost but didn't pressure me into anything. The whole experience was very positive and I look forward to with Mountain Home Services in the future!

Bryce Nichols was a great technician and was fast and super nice. I also appreciate the do what he had to do and did not push selling me anything. He also tolerated by loud dogs.

I had a rep come check out my system a few weeks ago and was advised that my best option was to buy a new system. To get a second opinion I had their competitor Arrant HVAC come by and was told I just needed to add coolant and he'd come back in a few months to check for any minor leaks.

I went with Arrant HVAC and my AC is now working great in the middle of this heat wave and I didn't need to spend $12K, I needed someone to refill the coolant for $300. Feel like I was about to be ripped off.

Giving a five star review for Solomon. He showed up on time and was incredibly professional. He was very detailed on informing me of my current status of my furnace. He also offered some important information for future upgrades to my house. I have been with Mountain air for quite some time and I’m always pleased by the great customer service.

Scotty was amazing! He came out to do a service on my AC and was thorough, explained everything he did, and recommended services to increase the longevity of my systems.
