My air conditioning unit died last summer and Select Comfort Systems came to my rescue. I really appreciated the friendly, professional service I've received from Lisa in setting up appointments. Holden has been the best technician ever! I love that when I make an appointment, he is usually early. I also appreciate Holden's demeanor and I trust him in my home. I highly recommend Select Comfort Systems!!!

We had furnace issues after a poor installation by another company. Select Comfort Systems came out, diagnosed issues and corrected the installation. Walter trouble-shot the unit until we were finally able to enjoy our new furnace. Walter is a professional and a genius. He educated us through the whole process and is a true master of his craft. We highly recommend this company.

Walter was great doing a zone valve replacement for us. Efficient, knowledgeable and super friendly. Everyone is great there (Holden and Lisa too)—Highly recommend Select Comfort.

Our furnace went out on a Sunday afternoon. Called Select Comfort West Valley and David came right over to fix the problem. David was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. We ended up purchasing a new furnace. David brought over four space heaters to warm the house through the night. John came over Monday morning and gave us some options and we decided on a certain model. David and Josh came over on New Years Eve day and replaced the furnace.
Very pleased with the work and customer service. Everyone went above and beyond what we expected.

We first found select comfort two weeks after our daughter was born and the heat went out. Rick came to the rescue and was amazing. For 16 years now, Select Comfort has had our backs and Holden had mine - once again - when our power went out during negative 5 degree weather due to a Rocky Mountain Power issue and some tubing on the lines to the boiler burst. The entire team was beyond awesome every step of the way. I especially love that Holden explains important things one might not know to ask and offers ideas/options/input that looks to long term while respecting short term needs. Could not be more grateful. Have had some horrendous experiences with other companies over the years - it is honestly scary what their techs tell me about their management and how they are incentivized. I had some serious issues with the initial service from Select Comfort but the owner, Rick, stepped up and worked with us to make it right. We chalked it up to bad communication and got to a solution that works for everyone. Rick and his team brought a good attitude and got the problems solved with creativity.

I've been calling select comfort for a few years now, and they've been great to work with. They replaced my furnace and heat pump. They replaced my water heater with a tankless water heater. All at a reasonable price. I trust select comfort to service my HVAC system annually.

The technician Don, arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and got straight to work. He diagnosed the issue quickly and had it fixed in no time. Can’t say enough good things. The greatest highlight-we had been without a/c all summer. Found Holden through a distributor, he came in, found and ordered the right part. Part came in at 6pm Friday night. Holden was at our home 7am Saturday morning to install it!!! Cannot think of another hvac company that would put so much heart into their service. Oh-and he was by far the best-priced one.

Walter B. Was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Had a brand new condenser and furnace installed by another company last July and it’s never worked properly. Got tired of working with the installer company and decided to have someone else come look at the system. Walter quickly diagnosed the problem and most importantly why my brand new condenser was incredibly noisy and not working well. Installer put the exhaust vent right by the condenser and aimed directly at the contact unit. This meant all winter that there was warm, humid, acidic condensation blowing right at the condenser resulting is massive amounts of corrosion (pics attached. This unit was installed July 2022 and the contact unit looks like it’s been used for decades and it’s been less than a year.) Needless to say, switching to Select Comfort Systems for all my future HVAC needs.

This is the best company, I give their names to anyone looking for HVAC in Utah, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our system . There’s never any pressure, no upselling parts or systems that aren’t needed.

When our 90 year old boiler finally died, we decided to replace our whole HVAC system, including installing duct work. This is one of the best customer service experiences we’ve ever had. Don and his crew were efficient, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves every day. What I really appreciated was how well they communicated, letting me know how and when things were going to be done, and making sure we understood how to get the most out of the new system we had installed.

We have been using Select Comfort for years. The biggest reasons are first their honesty. I was tired of using the big companies and watching them nickel and dime me for unnecessary repairs. Recall being told I needed to change out my AC. Called Select Comfort and learned I only needed Freon and that the old type was still available. Second, they charge a fair price and have done a great job of fixing or maintaining my equipment. Recommend them without hesitation!

Was away from the house for a couple of days, get home and the boiler’s not working. The house is very cold heading towards freezing and the potential for broken water pipes-I need the boiler fixed fast. Call one of the top 3 plumbing names in SLC. They assure me that once they replace a check valve ($2200) we’ll be good to go. 3-4 hours later they tell me that didn’t do it and I’ll need to replace the boiler ($15,000). At this point I call Holden. It’s after hours (6:00 PM) but he’s happy to swing by. He comes prepared, has everything he’ll need on his 4wheel drive truck, and gets to my house when he says he’ll be there. He examines the boiler and shares some specifics about the brand and that he is familiar with it as he is surveying the radiant heat plumbing architecture. He does a few tests and then claims to know what the problem is. It’s an internal plug issue. It took Holden 15 minutes to debug what a much bigger company couldn’t do after 4 hours of nut scratching. Their solution? A new $15,000 boiler. Holden’s solution? Let me work the problem and charge a fair price for my time. $200! Done.
You may have a bigger problem than I had but Holden is honest, fair, and doesn’t try to screw anyone. In today’s business climate that’s a rare find. I am honored to share my experience and give my highest recommendation for Select Comfort Systems and Holden who owns the business, to fairly and promptly address your plumbing issues.

It started off with a blocked kitchen sink drain. Because we've had great success with Rescue Rooter in the past, we called them. Cary (a 30 years drain technician, came out to try to solve the problem. He went way beyond what I could have expected from a service including hauling a 90 lb rooter machine up on our roof. After several hours of trouble shooting everything, he knew what had to be done. He called for Mike and together they determined it was a major plumbing problem including, but not limited to removing a 56 year old cast iron pipe that was completely blocked. The following morning, right on the minute, Art Boulais and Tony Nava pulled up. They deliberated and trouble shot it with the seriousness of a surgeon. Polite, professional, and respectful of all our concerns, they set to work. Never stopping for 7 hours. They came up with a creative and practical solution and implemented it with urgency. My husband and I are pleased and satisfied with all the attention and courteousness of Rescue Rooter. We will always call for them or refer them.

Jonny was a delight to work with while he replaced and installed a new hot water tank in our home. He was prompt and very helpful while explaining our options. Completed the installation very quickly. Even after having to drain the sentiment out of the old water heater. I would highly recommend for any future work.
