One of their drivers almost wrecked into my car because they were using their cellphone while driving.

They destroyed our neighborhood! They are incompetent workers who have shut down our cul-de-sac for over 3 months now! I hope the city never gives this company another contract!!

Incredibly sloppy, substandard work. Seem to care very little for the safety of the neighborhood during construction. Do not take responsibility for their work product.

Sagres Construction+DC Water=The Partnership That Works.

DC Water has contracted with Sagres to replace all the lead and galvanized iron water mains and public/private service lines along our street on Capitol Hill. As a longtime resident of the District, I am delighted to report that the personnel at Sagres and DC Water are doing a masterful job. The Sagres crew working under the able direction of civil engineering superintendent Luka Dragacevac and foreman Alfredo Alvarez are nothing short of amazing: I mean, I have seen them literally run to their assignments carrying shovels and heavy concrete-cutting road saws. And DC Water civil engineer technician Thomas Wilson has been readily available for advice on challenging issues. In my own case, the exceptionally competent trio of Luka, Alfredo, and Thomas were able to resolve a difficult problem that involved tunneling safely beneath my front yard and cast-iron stairway without disturbing above-ground structures. Bravo! And kudos to DC Water for sending such an experienced and professional contractor to Capitol Hill.

Sagres Construction was contracted to replace the water lines on Capitol Hill Washington, DC, and they did a fantastic job. The work was an extensive collaboration between DC Water and Sagres Construction and it required months of work to complete the project. I’d be remiss if I didn’t specifically thank Luka Dragacevac from Sagres and Thomas Wilson from DC Water for their outstanding direction and supervision of the project. Their communication and professionalism was second to none. Many houses had water meters in their front yards, and Sagres (specifically Luka) exercised extreme care with shrubbery and hard structures to leave any evidence of digging to a minimum, and at the end of every day they took great care to leave a very clean work site. Overall we couldn’t be happier with their work. Absolutely 5 stars

Sagres is installing a new water main in Hyattsville MD running down our street, affecting everyone on the street. Their process, production, limiting impact, Safety and Daily clean up is extraordinary. Their workers WORK HARD, ALL DAY, they run to get a tool or to next task. They are organized, know how to keep moving and work around problems. It was an absolute pleasure to see such an organized company replace the water main. I would HIGHLY recommend them for work. CONGRATULATIONS on having a successful, organized crew and thanks for sending them to our street.

Todd and his team were brilliant. Job was to redo and expand a current curved concrete driveway. Utilitarian look with brushed concrete. His team cleaned up after themselves and did a great job on the driveway, including a downspout rerouted under the driveway and reset our paver pathway to make sure it was level with the new driveway. Would highly recommend for your concrete driveway needs.

Fantastic work! The finished driveway is exactly what we wanted. I needed some grading done, the existing driveway removed, and replaced with a larger pad. The driveway was done in the herringbone pattern we requested with a cobbled border and the colors we selected. Schneider was easy to work with, communicative, and professional. Highly recommend.
