We have used Brite Maid for a number of years and are very happy with the services they provide. We have a crew come and clean every other week and the ladies are always super friendly and efficient. A trustworthy company *bonus points for being so sweet to our fur babies.

I was extremely disappointed by the customer service. I purchased a Groupon and three days prior to expiration I began coordinating for a cleaning date. I work in the mornings and requested a cleaning appointment in the afternoon, any day in May after 12. I was told that they don't serve my area in the afternoon. It didn't say that anywhere on the voucher. My zip code is within their service area. I then gave the one morning that I could be available, which was almost 2 weeks down the road. That was apparently not available.
Finally, after several days of back and forth, I was able to get an appointment a week later with a 12:30 arrival time. But.....now, my groupon would be expired on the actual appointment day, so they wanted me to pay the difference between the groupon $90 and their normal fee, which would have been another $93.
I asked several times for them to honor the Groupon since we began the coordination process before expiration, but they refused. I got a refund from Groupon and will not use them again. I have had other vouchers that as long as you made the appointment before expiration, they would honor it and not even mention it.
I used Brite Maids before about a year ago and the cleaning was OK, not perfect, but OK. It was a rushed cleaning. I bought a voucher for REAL TOUCH cleaning now, they are a little more expensive, but their WHOLE HOUSE cleaning includes the whole house. Not just 3 BR 3BA and 2 living areas, so technically cheaper in the long run.

This is, by far, THE worst company I have ever encountered in my life. Their business practices are underhanded and deceptive; their management is incredibly rude.

Brite Maid Services falsely advertised a "Home Cleaning Session" on Groupon. The should have advertised a "Partial Cleaning of Your Home with Lots of Hidden Fees." They sent an email stating that they would only clean one common area of the home, but only AFTER I had redeemed the Groupon (in order to give them the voucher number when making an appointment), which meant I could no longer cancel the Groupon, AND after charging me an extra $15 for a Saturday cleaning appointment. If they want to charge extra for a family room, that's fine, BUT THAT NEEDS TO BE CLEARLY STATED ON THE ADVERTISED GROUPON. Not after I've exchanged multiple emails and already been charged twice!!

They refused to vacuum my family room unless I paid an additional $25. (They had already vacuumed the living room; they didn't offer me a choice as to which common area I preferred to have them vacuum.) However, earlier in the cleaning, the house cleaner had swept dirt and debris from the bathroom onto the family room carpet. So not only did they not vacuum a major room of the house in this "house cleaning session", but they actually made it MORE messy than it was when they arrived. When I spoke to the supervisor, he was extremely arrogant and unhelpful. (It was only after this experience that I read these Google reviews and clearly recognized the management's snide attitude and condescending demeanor in every single reply to a negative review.)

I find it utterly unfathomable that a company could be this slimy and rude to its customers. You'd think an honest business would show some care or concern for its own reputation. Brite Maid Services seems to rely more on hidden fees and false advertising than on a good reputation. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY.

My mother lives in Temple Hills, Maryland. I paid for her to have Brite maids clean her home for a photo shoot to list her home for sale. My mother is 84 years old, and could not possibly have done this herself. Knowing full well the details of the request and taking the $367.00, Brite maid agreed to send two workers to her home Monday, 11/9/2020.
She was told, the workers would call her 20 minutes before they arrived. The front porch had been painted the day before, and had not dried, so it was terribly important for my mom to receive the promised call. Which she did not. The two workings rang the bell while staying on the freshly painted porch! No call. Then, shortly after arriving, one woman left, saying she would be back in 1 1/2 hours leaving one woman to clean a two level home, and wash the interior windows. This quickly became a very expensive joke. The first woman never returned. To make matters worst, the woman who stayed, spoke no English, so my mom could not communicate with her. IN the end my mom ending up cleaning. DO NOT HIRE BRIGHT MAIDS. Total rip off!

One of the worst customer services I've ever received and they never showed up to do the job. I scheduled an appointment a month in advance for 9am. They changed it to 11-2pm the morning of. At I:00pm I called to check. They confirmed someone would be there within the hour. At 2:00pm they said they would be there in 20min. At 3pm no one had showed up. I called to cancel and they said they would call me back in 5min. At 2:30pm no one had called me back. I called again and they transferred me to management and put me on hold for 10 min. I called again. When I finally got ahold of someone they "kindly" offered me the opportunity to reschedule (and pay the full price) and an oven cleaning. I had to take off work to do the cleaning myself an hour before my event. NEVER SCHEDULE WITH THIS COMPANY. This is only the second bad review I've ever given a company if that is any indication of how unprofessional they were. Please, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

UPDATE: They refused to give a refund after they already processed my voucher. All they will do is offer to reschedule with an over cleaning. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! PLEASE, never use this company if it's the last thing you do! I will be taking them to court if needed to get my money back. They were quick to write this response, but won't give me my money. And they refused to give the name of anyone higher than the "supervisor" that answered the phone and were EXTREMELY rude.

We are ALWAYS so PLEASED after each cleaning. The first cleaning in the new place was right after we moved and the team did a tremendous job!! It was such an unexpected relief to walk into a clean apartment and they had even removed boxes, made up the bed in the nursery with the new bedding and pillows.

My wife and I both work long hours and we have an almost 7 month old so it’s huge for us to have such reliable, consistent service. We would happily recommend Brite Maid Services to anyone and everyone we know.

Wow, what an amazing cleaning job. Brite Maid Services has been cleaning my home faithfully for many years. When the pandemic started, we did not allow any one in our house. We recently I asked Brite Maid Services to return for biweekly cleaning of my home. They did an amazing job of cleaning away all dirt, some that may have accumulated for a year.
They wore gloves and booties.
They have been faithful, reliable, responsive to my requests, and hard working for many years. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great service at great rates! I looked around a lot before finding the Brite Maids team and have been very happy with their work after having them clean my house monthly for about a year now. Excellent communication and they go out of their way to meet my requests. Cleaning teams are very friendly and polite. Best of all, my house is gleaming when they're done with it!

They did an excellent job hitting all the hard to clean spots in the bathroom and kitchen. I came home to a very clean home and love how the sofas were vacuumed. I was hesitant at first to use them but am very happy I gave them a chance. Easy booking done via email too. Well done! Thank you!

I recently had Brite Maids out to clean my women's transitional home. I requested a deep clean of the location as it needed significant cleaning following the exit of several of our residents. I was told that the job would be done well and they would stay until the job was complete. Being conservative, the job should have taken at least 4-6 hours to complete. They were here no where near that long. Upon inspection, one floor seemed almost untouched. I am in a bind now as I still need to have the place cleaned and I already paid money that I did not have to have Brite Maid Services to provide a deep clean of the location. When I reached back out to them about my dissatisfaction, I was met with their customer service telling me what a dump my home was and that being the reason that the clean wasn't done properly. I was told because my home needed repairs, they could not clean properly and they did the best they could do. I agree that the home needs minor repairs, but that should not have precluded them from providing the services that were agreed upon. Also, it was inappropriate for customer service to make such comments especially when that is not their specialty or their responsibility to comment on.

Brite Maid Services did an exceptional job! They arrived within the agreed upon window and called 20 minutes prior to their arrival. When I arrived home after BMS left, I was pleasantly surprised at how great my apartment looked! It was spotless and sparkling. Every single area in my apartment had been cleaned -- even the couch was vacuumed. I am so pleased with Brite Maids and I look forward to using them again in the near future!

Paid for a standard cleaning with extra sanitation methods due to covid.

I only have a one bedroom and my leg is injured which is why i needed to get help cleaning again.

Disappointed because the first time I received service they did a good job, this time it was extremely poor.

2 women showed up, then 10 minutes later one of the ladies said she needs to leave and will be back in 30 minutes. The lady never came back!

The one who stayed, I guess felt she needed help and did NOT clean the rest of my place thoroughly. When she told me she was finished, i checked and noticed several places thay had NOT been swept, mopped, or cleaned.

One spot in particular I pointed out and she proceeded to wipe the FLOOR with a paper towel??? Then used the same paper towel to wipe my side table. Thats not sanitary! I kept telling her the living room needs to be swept and mopped and she told me she did NOT understand english but then some how knew how to ask for a tip.

I was so frustrated. After she left I had to risk hurting my leg again and swept and mopped myself. These are just a few pics (attached) of the obvious things that were on the floor to see that it had not been swept or mopped.

Im so upset i had to go in and clean after i paid for cleaners!

Update their response is disheartening, I was very nice to these people and to make up a lie like that is ridiculous. The truth will always come to light and your business will suffer with this kind of behavior.

The cleaners were very respectful and prompt. They came into my home, explained what they would clean and got busy. They went over and above what I expected. The quality of work was outstanding. I would highly recommend this business and their professional services. My house looked so bright and clean as if it was smiling.

Definitely recommend! They do sales often too. I’ve had them come to my apartment about three times now and am inspired to get on a more regular basis they do such a grat job! If you have a busy lifestyle and housecleaning usually takes a back seat, it’s definitely a great treat :)

had a great time with theodore from titans carpet cleaning. he's truly a professional who doesn't shy away from going the extra mile. he actually whipped out his vacuum cleaner and cleaned the spaces between my sliding glass doors. he also did me a solid by helping me out with my outdoor carpeting on the porch in alexandria. he's considerate and nice, which i really appreciate. so, i just want to say thanks theodore, i vouch for him!

Theodore performed an exceptional job on my carpet. He initially mentioned it would take him a fortnight, but to my surprise, he finished ahead of schedule. I was astounded when Theodore messaged me to announce that my carpet was ready. My carpet looks brand new! He even conveniently delivered it back to my home in Alexandria. I will definitely be employing Titans Carpet Cleaning's services again.

Zachary and Theodore arrived at my Alexandria apartment earlier than expected and rang me to sync up before they got there. Their work on my carpet cleaning was top-notch, making it look as good as new. Leonard, who handles the desk at the carpet cleaning company, was exceptional, meticulous, and knowledgeable.

The squad from a top-notch carpet cleaning company in Alexandria was quick and proficient, successfully cleaning carpets in all three rooms. They were thoughtful and friendly with me. Zachary and Leonard took the time to double-check my order and email towards the culmination of their service. It was an outstanding experience. Currently, I am simply waiting for my receipt. Zachary did an amazing job with our carpet cleaning! We had a master bedroom and closet that were stained from our cats, and I was worried about the mess. He arrived right on time and worked wonders on those stains! I was impressed that many of them came out completely. We had cleared most of the room but left a dresser in place, and he even moved it to clean underneath and behind! I thought he might just clean around it, so I was thrilled he didn’t. My grandmother, who can be quite critical, mentioned how friendly he was while he was here. He exceeded my expectations and I would definitely choose this service again!

angel was very professional when giving me a quote for the carpet cleaning services i needed, and didn't try to upsell anything extra. theodore arrived right on time, even though i was running late. very friendly and professional. he knew a lot about the cleaning process and explained everything clearly before and while he cleaned. my carpets look like new and feel so soft! i'm really happy with how it turned out and it was worth every penny. i highly recommend this team to anyone needing a good carpet cleaning. can't wait to schedule them again for another service!
