Wan and Domic did a meticulous job in replacin the flu-pipe and tested everything. Kudos to both. They worked very hard.

They charged my mom a fortune to replace a bad toilet flange. The bathroom is rarely used so we didn't discover it had started leaking again until after a year had passed. I called and the secretary told me they would not honor their workmanship warranty because it had been over a year. When I called a different plumber to fix it, he showed me that the flange was completely warped. It's not clear Kramer even replaced it, or what they did.
I hesitate to leave bad reviews for small businesses, but plumbers should not be allowed to get away with shoddy work. -
I had a great experience with the dispatcher Holi and both technicians. They promptly located the leak and repaired it before it became a bigger issue. I trust this company.

The main pressure regulator valve for my house started leaking suddenly and significantly on a weekday evening. On the advice of a local contractor I've worked with, I reached out to Kramer and Sons that evening via email (and left a phone message too) explaining the situation. Seth replied by email and with a phone call about 7:30 am the next morning. Since I had included a photo and we knew what the problem was, he was able to provide an accurate estimate. A friendly technician arrived at our house around 8 am and the valve -- which was in a somewhat tight space -- was replaced by 9 am at the estimated (and reasonable) cost. Kramer and Sons will be the plumbing company I call and recommend going forward.

Before scheduling, I asked about the process and any fees, and no visit fee was mentioned. At the end of the appointment, the technician brought up a $60 visit fee, which was unexpected and made me feel obligated to pay since it was not disclosed upfront.
While the technician was respectful, the assessment felt incomplete. He did not enter the crawlspace to evaluate sump pump placement (the main reason for the visit), and I later learned the information provided about the hose bib location was incorrect. As a first-time homeowner who is very detail-oriented, I found the lack of transparency and thoroughness disappointing. On top of it, it estimate was so overpriced. -
Juan was wonderful! Really helped explain the problem so that I could understand and talk me through various options for those solution. And Seth, the owner was so responsive in his communications. Excellent customer service by both!

Rene and Domon were Friendly, professional, clear about pricing, knowledgeable, explained work performed, made sure work fixed problem. They were fast and got right to work to resolve my plumbing sewer clog issue. Will use this company again if needed. $59 flat standard service fee is a no brainer and I was advised of that on the phone.

Kramer quickly scheduled a service to check a previously installed sump pump outlet system. Juan did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem and making adjustments to the system. No charge.... work done under warranty.

Juan was extremely competent and thorough. I was so glad to meet him and if I ever need help in the future he is who I will call. His services were mainly diagnostic, but very reassuring, and he fixed one toilet, which has never had the correct water level.

We had excellent emergency service from Seth Kramer and his team for a recent leak in our water line. This leak was ongoing while we were out of town for the first three weeks of September.
We only found out about the possible leak when we returned and found a 9/5/25 letter about excessive usage from Virginia American Water in the accumulated mail plus a bill for $729.50 (1760 gallons per day usage) for August when our normal bill is $49-$50 (103 gallons/day usage). We immediately called Seth at Kramer & Sons after speaking with Virginia American Water.
Seth sent an inspection team out on 9/22 to look for possible leaks inside the house – toilets, faucets, showers, etc.– but they found nothing, which we reported to VA Water. They also saw that the meter was still ticking upward rapidly when our main water was shut off. They suggested that there could be a leak elsewhere if the meter itself weren’t faulty.
A check on the newly installed meter (8/18/25) on 9/23 by a VA Water field inspector did not show an immediate problem, but he ordered service for a new meter to be installed by 9/26/25.
Given the amount of water loss, we opted to ask Seth to contact Line Locators, his go-to-service for leak detection, which he did on the 24th. He got us an appointment the next day because of his excellent relationship with them. Their technician came at the same time as VA Water arrived to look at installing a new meter. Both said that the meter was not the problem. The Line Locator technician did an excellent job finding a leak in the water line under our garage pad.
Seth then immediately scheduled his excavation crew to come out to repair the water line on Friday morning, 9/26. He made an emergency call to Miss Utility at 5 a.m. that morning so that his crew could get the necessary “all clear” from Miss Utility before starting to dig.
His crew did a careful, efficient, and thorough repair of the leak. This included removing the red brick pavers, breaking through a concrete pad of several inches to get to the leaking line, replacing the leaking section of the PVC-like line, disposing of the non-dirt rubble from the hole, filling it, and patching the concrete.
The concrete dried over the weekend, and the crew returned Monday and did another excellent job of re-installing the brick pavers on the restored dirt surface and fixing them in place with sand, which they watered in.
Seth’s immediate response to our potential leak, which was running at 2.3 gallons/minute, saved us a considerable amount of time and money. He was available to answer many questions, calls, and emails. His inspection crew and excavation crew were on time, courteous, and professional. They all worked efficiently and skillfully to help resolve the leakage problem as quickly as possible once it was identified.
We couldn’t be more grateful or recommend Kramer and Sons Plumbing, Inc. more highly. They have been our plumbing service for over 20 years , and we truly appreciate their responsiveness, courtesy, and the skills they all bring to the job. -
Juan and his helper showed up on time, were very polite, knowledgeable and efficient. They did an excellent job. I’ve worked in residential construction for 20 years and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, knowledgeable plumber.
