They were prompt, fixed my hot water heater & the technician was very nice. However, the price was really (REALLY!) high. It was a Friday afternoon & I had no hot water, so it wasn't exactly convenient to get multiple quotes. It cost $385 to replace the upper & lower thermostats in the heater. It was about $80 in parts & took the tech about 30 mins. So that's what, $600/hour in labor costs?

It's so hard to find a plumber that you can always trust, but Kieran Lyons at The Irish Plumber has been doing work for me in my home for years and has always been true to his word. Good work, very honest and up front pricing, timely service and employees who are respectful. Kieran is also a real community guy, coaching kids in the neighborhood sports leagues. I suggest skipping the guys with the TV ads and putting your trust in a local guy who does great work and stands behind it. The Irish Plumber is a real find!

I have worked with The Irish Plumber a few times; Mr. Ian did repairs at my home twice, as well as some of their other team members; and I can share my experience with you all: they are timely, clean, quick, knowledgeable, and when you call the main number, usually the owner Mr. Kieran answers the phone and goes over the issues with the customer – at some companies, you get to talk with a clueless person.

The plumber was timely. He assessed the problem and because the repairs might involve replacing expensive parts that I get lifetime replacement from the manufacturer, we agreed that it made sense for me to get the parts and reschedule the repair. Being retired I certainly appreciated this...every penny matters!! Will certainly reschedule the repair. My humble thanks to The Irish Plumber.

Irish Plumber was very responsive and scheduled us for the next day. Turns out the smell in our basement was not coming from the ejector pump (like we thought it was), but instead from a dead animal right outside a basement window. Tried to pay the service tech for time he took for the housecall and troubleshoot the smell, but he wouldn't accept it. Very honest and reliable plumbing company. Will definitely use them again in the future (hopefully not anytime soon ;-)

We've been going to the Irish Plumber for at least six years for our plumbing needs. They've fixed clogged pipes, put in a pressure regulator, replaced the house shut off valve, and replaced our water heater over the years. The prices are reasonable, they're punctual, professional, polite, and get the job done quickly. They've also offered helpful advice for taking care of our pipes, etc.

Kieran replaced a spigot for me this morning. He was VERY knowledgeable, fast and affordable. He even took the time to answer my questions about my hot water heater, and I'll be bringing him back out when it's time to replace that. Can't recommend this company enough!!!

I've used the Irish Plumber many times and they've always been great. They're quick to respond to inquiries and quick to come out for urgent situations. The guys are always polite and knowledgeable and fully fix whatever issue I may be having. The one time I called them out for non-emergency service (faucet replacement) they charged me half the price of the other company that I had gotten a quote from, so expect for emergency services they are also priced better than their competition. I will continue calling them for all of my plumbing needs.

Kieran, the Irish plumber is the plumber you need to call. He is professional, highly skilled in the plumbing trades and fair. You’re charged a fair price. He doesn’t come in and try to upsell you on jobs that supposedly need to be done before they can preform the job you brought them in to do. I’m an old man and I’ve had bad plumber experiences on both coast. Kieran, the Irish plumber is our go to guy for any and all plumbing jobs.

This company repaired broken pipe underneath my driveway during the dead of winter. They dug down four to five feet to make repairs. I continued to use them for other issues in my Alexandria home. I only wish they would move to my neighborhood in Florida. They are very fair and honest. I highly recommend them.

Brownlee did great work to replace a difficult hose bib that could not be accessed from inside the house. They had a mason on hand to remove and replace brick to access the plumbing from outside the house, and finished the project in a single day. When a small leak appeared in the handle they had someone come back and fix it immediately. I had another plumbing company look at the same project and they wouldn’t even consider it. This is a great local company and I’m glad I gave them a chance on this challenging project.
