John C. Flood is a great company! My rep Daniel helped install my HVAC units and now he services them. All their employees are professional and do great work!

Same problem 24 less than 24 hours after I was told it was fixed. Downstairs bathroom flooded after a shower. They came removed the toilet and unclogged the drain with a snake machine and had a camera guy come over as well. They stated the line was clear and free ready for needed a new toilet. So I bought one and had them install it. Less than 24 hours later the same issue. I believe in second chances so they are scheduled to come in the morning since no one is available tonight. This was my only working toilet. I was considering JC Flood to fix the other's but We will see. Disappointed.

Had a clog in the main sewer line that caused flooding into the basement. Mr. Hudson, our technician was able to quickly diagnose and repair the issue. He explained the process and provided some additional tips for a seperate issue discovered during the repair. Would definitely use the service again.

I came home to a flooded basement and a leaking water heater. I called John C Flood and they sent Nassim S. I immediately felt at ease with him! He was super knowledgeable and took something that was a huge headache and made it much more manageable.

He quickly determined the source of the leak, advised a water mitigation team (which it’s good he did because I didn’t know I would need them, but boy did I!), and informed me of what they would do to prep for him coming back. The short story is I live in an older house with plaster, so Nassim couldn’t get behind the walls to see the pipes. The water mitigation people could remove plaster, so Nassim narrowed down where to remove so the leaking pipe could be exposed. They would also dry everything up so we could maneuver better.

After water mitigation did their thing, Nassim (who is super responsive via text, which I appreciated) came back and was able to fully diagnose the situation with the pipe exposed. My old house had a cast iron drain pipe with a huge crack that was so long it went from my main floor to my basement. It needed to be cut, stripped out, and replaced with pvc.

But the water heater is a separate issue. Nassim said the city increased the water pressure due to population increase with no notification, and older homes with old piping just can’t take it. So we need a pressure regulator valve to protect our pipes and water heater, and that is the cause for the water heater.

I’m thinking this is a large amount of work and is gonna take weeks. Nassim tells me he can have it all done in a day. Great news since I basically can’t shower due to the pipe crack.

Nassim gives me an estimate with a fantastic write up that I can submit to my insurance. The estimate has many options for my wife and I to choose from, ranging from bare minimum needed to top of the line everything; which we appreciated. We tell Nassim which estimate we’re going with via text and he responds he will be back tomorrow around XYZ time, but will text when he’s 30 mins out.

He got there and went to work! I was impressed with how efficient he was. You can see from the pics the huge section of cast iron pipe he had to cut out and how long the crack is. And the finished result with the pvc pipe. He also installed a pressure regulator valve and main shut off valve, and swapped out our old water heater with a new one. Before the sun went down I was taking hot showers again, and was very thankful for Nassim and his quick and expert-level work. Not only would I go back to John C Flood with future problems, I would specifically ask for Nassim S.

I was very impressed with my technician. He was prompt informative and completed the work in a timely manner. In addition he advised and showed me what he was going to do before he started. He was very thorough and explained all my options on what my choices were Once he started he made sure to take care not to get and debris and prepped the area to insure none of my property was affected coving the entire area and afterwards cleaning up and returning the space to its original condition.

Technician came out and diagnosed the problem I described and he gave an honest opinion. Mr. Jose was very knowledgeable in providing information. I will let my friends and family know of this company! Job well done!

Great job. Technician was very friendly and knew what he was sent here to do. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the work of fixing my commode and installing my new sink and cabinet in the bathroom. Looks really good with my new flooring I had put in. Damon was fantastic! He arrived EARLY, but was waiting out front for the appointed time. Altho he was extremely thorough, he figured out the problem quickly (and it was sort of a weird thing), checked and double checked, showed me what to look for to avoid troubles down the line, was generous with advice. And the price was fair. John C. Flood is a great company. Very impressed.

The tech Carl was professional, polite, punctual , wore special boot covers to protect the floor. The 99 dollar service fee was brought down to a more reasonable 59 with a web coupon. He was knowledgeable, patient as we discussed the best way to tackle my nightmare of a wiring problem. He went and toured with me my entire house , tested my breaker panel. Advised me on what impact keeping original wiring could have on both code, and safety. He welcomed my questions, and provided detailed explanation of what would be involved. He acted as though there were no other jobs waiting to be estimate. He is old school crackerjack elite. God bless both Him and John C Flood. Now, years ago, I had hvac repair done. The young man pointed out how another company had not just been excessive , but borderline criminal intrying to coerce me to upgrade to a unnecessary new heatpump. JohnCFlood has honest, forthright business practices. Would give them 12 stars on a zero to ten scale.

Carlos installed a faucet for us with extended supply lines and also adjusted the gas cap behind our old stove so the new stove would fit, which required cutting through the basement ceiling. He gave expert advice, did diligent intensive work, was extremely professional and courteous, and was fantastic to work with. He resolved some errors by a previous plumber and was able to work with us and a manager to ensure the price reflected a significant reduction in our favor. He did an outstanding, excellent job and would definitely want to work with him again in the future.

I recently hired John C. Flood, Inc. to disconnect an old home alarm system and had a great experience from start to finish. Dale came to diagnose some issues we have been having with our boiler heating system, and found that the water level was low and identified several components that were recommended for replacement. He fixed the pressing issue, which caused the pump to run noisy and irregularly, and gave us the cost estimates for the recommended repairs, which we will have done. Throughout he was courteous and helpful, and we appreciated his good work and kind demeanor. We have had good experiences with the company before, and will definitely continue as a client.

John C Flood really helped me out after a water line broke that supplies water to my house from the city. They were prompt -- coming out the first workday after the break and doing the work the next day. The crew was friendly, neat and efficient. I had water that very day. They deserve a raise! They worked very hard for more than 8 hours because they knew that I needed the repair that day.

This is for the lack of customer support, especially after installing a 20k unit with this company you'd think the very least the office manager could do is return a simple phone call out of basic respect. Even after multiple calls leaving messages, still nothing. Not even a follow up call after such a big installation job during one of the coldest weeks recently, to ensure our system was working well and following up on a job like ours. Is this how companies like John C. Flood treat their customers after getting them in the door then forgetting about them altogether? In fact, we had wanted to leave a positive review for the technician, and even recommended their services to our neighbor across from us AND return to them this spring for a new HVAC since we are anticipating another new system install (just like the one we had to put in recently). But after patiently waiting and waiting and realizing that the reputation and quality of a good company should not only rely on skilled technicians, but reliable staff who can stand behind what their services are supposed to represent. With all the competition out there, and many long standing family built companies, strong customer support is KEY to having loyal customers. If you cannot even make a good customer feel valued , especially after such a substantial investment with you, and as simple as returning a phone call, then you don't deserve to be a 5-star company you claim to be. I'd give the technician , Dale 5-stars and recommend him anyway. But this review is clearly for the lack of professional courtesy in customer service and basic respect.

Super happy. Tech was Jose. Same day service with no extra fee for coming same day. He was very prompt, nice, professional, and helpful. Got the job done quickly and made sure everything was good before he left. They are not cheap and expensive as compared to a handyman or non- professional plumber service but gave a slight discount and guarantee no clog within a week. Total for main sewage backup snaking was $950.00 after a negotiated discount. Will also guarantee won't backup again within a week. I am not deducting a star for the price because it is within the FMV for professional plumbing services based on my research and also the fact that they answered and came out right away without charging any emergency or same day service fees.

He took the time to carefully inspect the problem, clearly explain what had happened, and walk us through the steps needed to resolve the issue.

Carlos of John C Flood and his team did a fantastic job. They had the water main break repair/replacement completed in 2 days. Water was restored on day 1, and lawn repaired after inspection on day 2. They were very professional, arrived on time, and cleaned up after themselves. I was very happy with the work done.

I was nervous when deciding what company to contact since I had no heat. After researching several companies I selected John C Flood. The company responded quickly and were at my house within the hour. Dale,Technician, explained what he was detecting with my furnace. I am trilled he could repair my unit as well outlined what I need to do to maintain it. I signed up for a service contract and overall I am very happy with my experience

Original post: Javier did a GREAT job on a very complicated, multi-day install of a central house water filter system and remediating all the goop and build-up in our hot water heater and fixtures. The piping build-out is high quality (copper) and well-constructed. He took the time to walk us through the lines, valves and how the filter canisters operate. Our water pressure is already noticeably better and fixtures are working great. Javier, thanks so much for the careful and thorough work!
