Last year, our heating unit went out. Three companies came out, each one giving us a quote to replace the entire unit, but for a dual heating and AC unit, the cost was beyond our means. After going without heat for a month between November and December, we found Chesapeake Heating & Air Conditioning. Though they strongly advised against repair, due to the unit's age, they were willing to perform the repairs rather than replace the unit. Nearly a year later, our heater continues to keep us warm. I appreciate Chesapeake Heating & Air Conditioning's willingness to see our circumstances and accommodate our needs; a risk that gratefully paid off.

This was my first experience with Chesapeake Heating & Air Conditioning and the service was outstanding. Much better than my former "Large Company", which was always trying to niche and dime me with extra exorbitant charges and NOT doing the complete work. This is the way service used to be. Extremely happy with our service! Our heat went out on the coldest night so far of the winter. We had another technician come out first and look at it and he could not figure out the problem and suggested it would need multiple people to look inside our walls for the issue, he told us to find another company that specializes in Goodman Units. We contacted Chesapeake Heating and Air and got a response right away for a Saturday morning. Brian came out within the hour, earlier than the suggested time frame. Almost immediately, Brian found the problem and was kind enough to show it to me and explain how he was fixing it. Our heat was back on (at an affordable price too) and we were finally warm again.

Jorge did an amazing job. He really cared for and treated our unit like it was his own. The quality of service and the way he treated my family was as if he was family. He was very informative about anything that may of been wrong and exactly what he was doing. I asked a lot of questions and he was more than happy to answer them and give me good advice on how to upkeep things. Jorge is very knowledgeable and was able to answer the numerous questions I had. I was curious to know how everything worked and he took the time to educate me. Kept us in the loop every step of the way what was going on. It is refreshing this level of professionalism still exists.He did an awesome job cleaning all the parts and the entire system inside and out. Before and after pictures included. I will definitively be giving these guys a call back. I recommend asking for Jorge, I certainly will the next time I need some maintenance done. Jorge went above and beyond to do a good job. I shopped around and noticed these guys have some of the most reasonable/best prices for the service provided. I legit don’t have any complaints or questions unanswered. My family and I are very satisfied and glad it is actually cool in our house. We had been living with it warmer so far. Pretty shocked how much cooler it is now inside!

Jorge was on time, he was very thorough in his work, and said everything was working good before he left. He checked the temps at the vents & made sure to answer any questions I might have and he explained how the auxiliary heat pump works versus the furnace. Great job as always. I highly recommend Chesapeake Heating and Cooling as they did a great job with our whole system heat pump install. They were honest, reasonably priced, very professional and were able to bring a large crew in and get it done in one day. I work from home, and my work was never affected by them being in my house. We had an old split system a/c that was not working when we bought the house, so they had to remove that entire system first. We got an all-new duct system including new metal trunk, new supply lines, registers and filter grills, two new additional registers and an additional return, new air handler stand, metal overflow pan, two safety switches, thermostat, t-stat wire, copper line set, drain, new electrical wiring and breakers, outdoor disconnect and a split system heat pump. John the lead installer did a very neat job everything in our attic looks tidy, the outdoor line set coming down the exterior wall is plumb and neat which is very important to us. Brian the owner even came to the job to check on the progress and make sure we were happy. Our new system is so quiet and every room in our house is now comfortable. Mary registered our equipment for us so we could take advantage of the 10-year equipment warranty when registering online. We are so happy we chose the RIGHT company to do our install. We will also be having them do our annual maintenance. Thank you Chesapeake Heating and Cooling!!!

We are very pleased for the service received from Chesapeake Heating and Air Conditiong from the start to the completion of the HVAC installation. Brian gave a great price as compared to the other companies. He was so considerate, pleasant and explained what are expected as written on the contract.I think because of their knowledge and experience, the installation headed by John along with Dillon and Joseph went smoothly, no dirt or debris were left behind. We had an amazing experience with Chesapeake Heating and Air from start to finish. From the moment we decided to move forward with our HVAC purchase, their team was attentive, communicative, and truly made us feel taken care of, not just like another customer on a list.

They consistently kept us informed throughout the process and were always easy to reach with any questions. What really set them apart, though, was their dedication after the install. When we ran into an issue with our thermostat, they came out at 9 PM just to make sure everything was working properly. That level of care and responsiveness is honestly rare.

Our experience with this company was absolutely amazing. Jorge was our technician I cannot speak highly enough about him. He was knowledgeable on time and a pleasure to have here today.He had our problem fixed within an hour. The price was so reasonable. I would recommend this company to anyone in our local area. Had my heating stop working when the temps went below freezing for a few days. My usual HVAC service company has been getting flaky recently, and they were unable to get a tech to my address until the next day. So I looked online for local companies and ended up calling Chesapeake H&AC because of the great reviews I saw online. The lady that answered the phone was great, listened to my issue, and said they could have someone out within a few hours. Considering the temps were going to be around 20 F that night, I was extremely grateful that they took my issue seriously and would have someone out to get me up and running quickly. Brian was the tech that showed up and he was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He listened to my description of the issue, checked out the system, and had a fix for me very quickly. I'm very happy with the service I received. Chesapeake H&AC were friendly, fast, and reasonable. I now have them at the top of my list of companies to call when I have HVAC issues. We have long used Simmons Heating & Cooling Inc, for our HAVC needs. Recently Simmons installed a "Generac" back-up generator. The installation and service of that system, true to past form, was great. We highly recommend Simmons for all HAVC and back-up generator installation, service and repair.

Highly recommend! Was able to get someone out right away to diagnose a faulty compressor. Found replacement parts for my (OLD!) system but I’m certain I’ll have a new one installed instead and will have Simmons do it for sure!

Simmons HVAC was amazing. I needed some help with a split unit and they were very responsive and scheduled the appt for the very next morning. The tech was extremely professional and even sent a pic with a description of his tenure and experience. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it on the spot. Scott R. did a great job responding to our service request today. We have been Simmons customers for several years, and have an annual maintenance agreement. We have always been pleased with Simmons' service. Scott responded rapidly to our after-hours, holiday, service request and had our air conditioning issue completely resolved within an hour and a half of our placing the call. He was professional, capable, explained both the problem and what he did to fix it, and got our AC back up and running in no time. The entire interaction was an exceptional customer service experience.

I called Simmons when my heat wouldn’t come on on the coldest day of the year! While they scheduled my service appointment for the next day, they were able to send a technician later in the day who diagnosed the problem and the repair was completed. Jason was very nice and professional. We highly recommend this company!

I’m so glad I contacted this company. They were able to fit me in for an appointment immediately. The outside fan of my AC unit wasn’t working. Kevin Douglas was the technician and he was absolutely awesome. Not only was he friendly and professional, he was able to fix my fan and explain to me the issue. Tim was our technician and he was great! Very professional, and very informative as well as fair prices. Got the issues resolved and offered a lot of great insight. Simmons installed a mini-split unit at my shop. The crew was outstanding, installation was very professionally, fully explained its operation and I am very happy to have had Simmons handle this job from start to finish.
