I wish I could give 10 stars for Air Handlers. You can't go wrong with them. I am a huge first impressions person. First, Josh came to our home, gave us a quote to change our heat pump out to an A/C and Furnace. We also wanted to add a return to our downstairs. He put booties on to protect our flooring from the dirt on his shoes, and then was polite and listened to what we wanted to achieve. Come install time, the team worked efficiently and quickly. The installers cleaned up each day, including vacuuming. We did have a few issues with our install, and the owner, Bill, came out and resolved everything without us even asking for him. We thought just notifying Josh would have things taken care of. But Bill insisted on coming. There were even parts of the install we were happy with, but he wasn't. He fixed everything far beyond our expectations. Every person at Air Handlers is polite and eager to help. They weren't the cheapest, but hands down provided the best service we have ever received from ANY contractor in the Hampton Roads area. Every employee at Air Handlers, from the front office to the technicians, wants to do right, and you just don't find that in a lot of contractors these days. My wife and I are more than 100% happy we chose Air Handlers, and we will be using them for all of our HVAC needs from here on out. They are fantastic!

I was concerned about a leaking vent on the main level of my home. This was my first experience with Air Handlers and Cody did an excellent job explaining everything he was checking to me. He knew my system inside and out, which was reassuring, and I will definitely be using their services again.

My wife was working from home today and called me and said it was warm in the house, so we started calling around and everyone was next available was next week or two days. Expecting the same thing when I called Air Handlers and the young lady who answered the phone was so pleasant and inforned me that she could get someone by today! I was floored and she said between 2 and 6 she could have someone here, around 215 the tech was here, Nate, and he called me with the problem and he had the part inbhos van so he got it switched out! I was so pleased with thw turn around from the time I called until the time he was done! All within 5 hours. Every other company couldnt even squeeze me in today! Just found me a new AC company and I would give them 10 stars if i was able to! They even sent pics with the invoice! Just had such a great experience with them and I assure you will not be let down! Gove them a call!!!!! thanks so much for everything!!!!

This company is wonderful. They were able to get out the same day and address the problem I was having with my unit only to discover the unit was frozen and had to be turned off. Cody returned promptly the next morning and was able to assess the unit. After he completed a full check on all parts he was able to get me back up and running. I loved that he explained everything to me as gave me advice on how to keep and maintain a healthy working unit.

They installed a whole new system about 2 years ago in our house we just bought. Skip ahead to this past weekend, our AC cut out. We had to call a different company to come out and see what went wrong, he quoted a new blower motor. So I had to buy a couple window units to be able to live in the house while the part was on order. Today/Monday morning, Air Handler’s called and sent a tech out to see what’s wrong. Since we have 3 years parts and labor warranty on top of our 10 year manufacturer warranty. Daniel came out and almost immediately identified that out drain line was clogged and it was flipping the cut off switch, not that the motor was bad. He was very professional and INCREDIBLY thorough. He was sorry that it was a maintenance issue and not a part issue. So it cost money, instead of being free. We weren’t concerned. We’d rather pay some money for immediate relief than wait a few more days and it be free. He also showed me how to clear the drain line so I can do it myself from now on. Daniel was great and we are very happy with the service. 5/5 ⭐️!

Cody just completed our Spring HVAC inspection and cleaning. Our system is ready for Spring and Summer. Cody is an excellent HVAC technician. He is always friendly, polite, professional, and very respectful of our home and property. We highly recommend Air Handlers Heating and Cooling.

I called Air Handlers for their positive reviews. The office staff was polite and courteous. Cody the technician arrived promptly and did a fine job. They will give you an estimate of the work that needs to be done so there are no surprises. I will definitely use again and have already recommend to a friend .

Excellent service. After spending hundreds of dollars on other companies , Air Handlers finally fixed my complex HVAC problem. Cody may be the best tech in Hampton Roads.

We decided to join the club for preventative maintenance with Air Handlers Heating and Cooling, and we’re so glad we did. As new homeowners, we hadn’t had anything done to our HVAC system before so this was all new to us. Cody came out to perform the maintenance and was fantastic. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood the system and what he was doing. Setting up the appointment with Kelly was quick and easy, she was incredibly helpful and very kind. Jessica from the office also gave me a call to let me know Cody was on his way, which I really appreciated. From start to finish, it was a great experience. We’re thankful to have found a company that genuinely cares about its customers and we’ll definitely be trusting Air Handlers with all of our HVAC needs going forward.

After having multiple companies checking my system over the last four years, telling me everything was “in spec”, and the noise “is what it is”, Glenn and Nate solved everything I needed in one visit. Glen even called me out and corrected my electrical logic on one request! I can’t hear my system complain anymore!! They gave me everything I need to run on generator power as well. I recently had my biannual HVAC maintenance check. Cody was thorough, courteous and professional. He got the job done quickly and gave me the assurance I needed before the really cold temps hit, that my system is good to go!

Our heat pump stopped heating yesterday and I called Air Handlers Heating & Cooling first thing this morning at 8 a.m. Daniel arrived by 11 and was very professional, personable, and patient throughout. He took the time to explain what he was checking and why as he worked through the issue. It took some troubleshooting, but thankfully he found and fixed the problem, and we’re very happy to have heat again!
I hope I won’t need HVAC service anytime soon, but if I do, Air Handlers Heating & Cooling will be my first call.

Air Handlers Heating & Cooling is a great company! They replaced my HVAC system the summer of 2024, they were extremely professional and made me feel at all times that my satisfaction will always be their number one priority, and they stayed true to that by offering me a 2 year system service free due to an issue that occurred during installation that was "NOT" due to their work but caused by the unit manufacturer, they took care of the issue and as stated prior, they have been servicing my HVAC system regularly to ensure it is working properly.
If you are looking to replace or do regular maintenance/repairs to your HVAC system I would strongly recommend Air Handlers, they stand by their WORK and their WORD, something that is hard to find these days!!!!

Air Handlers are the best. They are very efficient and knowledgeable. They take great care of our AC and heating system. They are always very prompt. Our tech today was Cody and he did a fantastic job. We have also had Daniel in the past. We would not deal with any other company. They know what they are doing!

We called and they came right out, our tech was amazing, told us the issue and gave us an estimate of $300-400. Told us to call the office the next day to schedule the service. When I called the office the following day they said the part was out of stock and would take 3-5 days to come in. I was quoted $922 when I asked why there was such a big price difference than the estimated cost they lowered the price to $803. I was still not paying double the estimated cost. I found the part online for $80 and it arrived the next day. Best part, it took less than 5 mins to fix.

Overall great experience. I had a technicians (Daniel) at my home trouble shooting our HVAC system with 2 hours of calling.

I didnt expect to get anyone today due to weekend snow. The promptness in the response to my problem was key. Im very happy about that. My thermostat was not working we were miserable. Within 2 hours from my call a technician was dispatched and issue was resolved. I am a Happy customer.
