Juan Diaz and his outstanding team installed our Phantom 5000 Wine Cellar cooling unit. They are also maintaining the unit as well as our home Carrier HVAC system. Excellent, professional installation and service.

Heat went out so we called to get the furnace fixed. While there was an HVAC tech here, I asked to have a new thermostat (Ecobee smart thermostat) installed.

Pros: They showed up fast and got the furnace working again. Bad pressure switch was the culprit.

Cons: They charged over $200 for a $17 pressure switch, and installed it before telling me the price. That's a huge markup! They also wanted to charge over $500 to install the thermostat. No thanks. So much for "honest service at fair prices".

I won't be using them again.

It is a very good feeling when you need something done and they exceed all of your expectations. I lived for 8 years in the cold state of Minnesota, where the winters are extremely cold and the summers hot and humid. I have had many “run ins” with HVAC contractors who knew your predicament and would take advantage of it by either overcharging, selling you up, or not showing at the appointed time. That's why it was such a revelation to call Rubio Mechanical. Not only did they show up on time, but their workmanship was professional and at a fair price. Rubio Mechanical is now the only one I will call.

I was out of the country for a number of months and the Mrs. and our daughter's had a problem with both A/C units so she was told by the mechanic / salesma. The unit on the main floor supposedly needed a new thermostat, where as it was not quite three (3) years old... a Top Of The Line Honeywell unit in which I bought at Home Depot. This Original was extremely easy to operate and set. They put on a cheapy version made by the same company and charged and excessive amount. That is understandable where as the have costs like everyone. Of course it had Their Name On It !@@! HaHaHa A year later +- the main compressor went down. I'll make a point later@

The Unit up in the attic supposedly had problems that would be supposedly no big deal and they made supposed repairs. When I returned home approximately three months later... the fan was set in the "on at all times position." The A/C unit upstairs did not cool at all, it was merely the said fan wasting energy the entire time. That was stated by The Ladies. The total electric bill in three months was over $1400 dollars in give or take 90 days along with a Thousand Dollars and the unit above was a waste. Again, they cried not to make anything of it. She said "you had better not say anything to them." It has been a year plus, going on two.

I COULD NOT NET IT GO WHEN THE ARE SUPPOSEDLY PROFESSIONALS... TO SHOW YOU THE COSTS INVOLVED WITH A/C UNITS WHERE I AM BUYING A COMPRESSOR FOR THE MAIN FLOOR UNIT AND THE COST FOR SUCH IS 1016.64 FOUR HUNDRED LESS THAN THREE MONTHS OF LOST $$$.
I GOT THE R22 FROM A BUDDY AT COMPANY COST AND I'm Giving $300 LABOR... THE FUNNY POINT IS $100 IS A TIP!

Rubio Mechanical is EXCELLENT! The technicians are timely and engaging, and most definitely willing to answer questions. If you're interested in a tankless hot water heater, they're the team to hire because they have the skills and patiently describe all the expected functions, which you can translate into your daily experiences to help determine if tankless is right for you!

Rubio is a great company to work with they are professional and provide good service.

He was very honest and thorough with the options available to me. The quote he provided was very reasonable. I decided to have the entire system replaced.
