If you want to be upsold and overcharged their perfect! There is a reason why everyone calls them the Beltway Bandits. I had to learn the hard way. I had a Heatpump and Air handler installed by B&B in 2022. The service included a two year service and maintenance plan, which was two visits a year for two years to inspect and maintain the unit. In 2024, at the end of my service plan the heat pump stops working. They diagnosed that the Reversing Valve went bad and wanted to charge me $2800 to fix it! I talked to the manager and he told me he would drop the price to $2100. He explained that the whole unit would have to be taken back to the warehouse to make the repair and that was the best he could do for me. Long story short, I contacted Carrier and they refered me to a reputable company. They came out and did the repair at my house in 2.5 hrs and charged me $1700. Shame on you B&B.

B&B has provided our HVAC servicing needs for 14 years and we've been extremely happy with them. Scheduling a service call has always been easy.

Jose M stopped by today for our winter maintenance check and tune up. He called about 30 minutes prior to arriving, which was well within the window we were given when we scheduled. He was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable, and performed his work quickly. At no time did he try to push additional services on us. He left his work area spotless. A great job all around by Jose and B&B!

Great service. If you have the annual contract they come ASAP if something breaks. We have had the same extremely knowledgeable, personable, and honest technician do our semi-annual HVAC servicing the last few times (Jose Ramos-Castro). Highly recommend B&B and especially Jose!

When I called B&B, they were wonderful on the phone and were able to send someone right away. Gu was so knowledgeable, professional, friendly and trustworthy. Problem was fixed before the morning even finished!

B&B Air provide outstanding service. I had a blower motor die on my air handler in the heat of August. Another HVAC company said they couldn't repair it for 7-10 days but could install a new heat pump in 2-3 days for 6 times as much. Glad I checked with B&B for another opinion as they were able to replace the blower motor the same day and return my home to air conditioned bliss without us waiting another week or more. Chris made it happen and Ernesto and his sidekick did a great job with the replacement! Thanks B&B!

This company is trying to sell the most expensive job, service or part they can, and if you don't want to pay through the roof, they just leave you stranded - this is what happened to me. I paid $130 for a technician to come and tell me what I already knew - my AC blew a capacitor. Instead of replacing it, he first tried to tell me that I needed a new compressor and potentially other things, and when I questioned it, he told me that I need a "genuine Carrier capacitor", and they are "very expensive". He called his "mothership" twice, and he told me that there were none available at the office and they had to order from Carrier, which they couldn't do right away for some reason. The technician left saying someone will call me from the office with a price. No-one called, of course, so I knew I needed to find someone else. I started searching online and after a lot of scrolling through sponsored ads, I finally found a small business HVAC service. A guy came in an old truck with no fancy company logos, installed a simple 45/5 dual capacitor, charged me $250 for parts and labor and left, leaving me with a feeling that not everything is lost in America and small businesses still exist that have a pride in their trade and professionalism and ethics, and that not everything is profit-centered.

B&B responded to us in a timely manner. Eder Lemus Amaya, the technician, was very professional and efficient. He was polite and got the job done! We hope to have him continue our A/C repairs in the future!

Have a contract with B&B for a few years now. This winter I had 2 separate issues with my old furnace within 2 weeks. The first issue I decided to go for a repair which needed a control board ordered since the furnace was so old. When it went a second time I decided to go for a full replacement. Thought the original repair was a sunk cost, but B&B credited me the full cost of the first repair against the replacement.

Great service over the phone, fast responses, and better than fair business practices. Excellent company.

Gu arrived within 1 hour of us calling on a weekend. He quickly figured out our problem and fixed it until the correct part arrived. He also changed my filter without prompt and took the old one away to trash. He then returned and again made the replacement quickly. Was impressed by the service provided - above and beyond. So much so that we signed up for their maintenance and service contract!

We had an issue with our heating in early December 2024 (right during a cold snap) and noticed the issue on a Sunday. B&B was one of the few companies who could come out for repairs/maintenance same day (our company at the time would not). We had a friendly and efficient technician names Young come to our house within a few hours of our call. He not only resolved the issue but was able to troubleshoot prior errors/oversights our previous HVAC company had made which likely led to the issues. Our prior company was recommending replacing our thermostats (which would've costed around ~$300-$500). Young diagnosed a different issue which saved us from thermostat replacement and got to the root cause of the issue. I highly recommend B&B not only for quality of service but for their responsiveness and same day service off hours and on weekends.

Yesterday, we discovered that our ac unit wasn't working properly. I called B&B around 3:30 and they had someone at our home within an hour. I was expecting the worse, but the nice repairman, Gu, said it was just the thermostat. He replaced it and everything is working fine, and it's more quiet that it used to be. Very satisfed.

I have been a contract customer of B&B for my air conditioning and heating for longer than I can remember (at least 30 years, through 3 houses in 2 states)...the Fairfax branch since 1998. They do great work! Their technicians are obviously experienced and always reliable and friendly. For both routine and emergencies services, I have always been able to count on the B&B team. We can't recommend them highly enough.

After receiving a gouge price quote from HVAC & Plumbing Unlimited, the company I have been using for the past two years to service the properties I manage, I decided to go with B&B Air Conditioning & Heating for the A/C coil cleaning. B&B completed the coil cleaning in a timely manner, at a reasonable price, and provided before-and-after photo documentation. They have earned my future business.

Mr. Gu checked out our HVAC system, today. He was very professional and trustworthy, took my questions and explained me some of important parts including future maintenance plan.

I signed up for 1 year maintenance plan (for two visits, cooling and heating next year) and hope to see him for cooling maintenance next year.

Outstanding Service. Replace HVAC unit; 4 trucks of workers showed up and finished job in less than a full day. Workers were very professional and respectful and even cleaned up after themselves. Adrian, Ernesto, and Eder did a great job!!! The next day, we did not even know they were here!!! The best part is the new HVAC works great!!!
