First year I’ve had an issue. Two weeks of no show due to weather. Well there have been plenty of days that were clear in between the weeks to come and mow. The second week i had a guy show up to treat grass that was already a foot tall. I don’t care about the treatment if my grass is that tall. I probably would have let it pass but this is Memorial Day my ‘day’ is Wednesday when they come out. Friday at 2:30 pm nobody had showed yet to mow. I called the office, no answer. I called the office and tried every extension, no answer. I finally got fed up and didn’t want my kids not to be able to enjoy the yard over the holiday and mowed it myself. Here we are Saturday and the crew finally showed. I don’t care about 26 mows or whatever for the year, I care more about my grass being mowed for Memorial Day. I also care about communication and letting me know hey we will make sure your yard is taken care of but obviously I’m asking too much. I’m paying way more than the next competitor and thought I would be getting that kind of service. Really disappointed and will be cancelling whenever somebody picks up the phone.

We took ownership of a house with quite a landscape. Hugh and Brandon have been nothing short of amazing in helping us get the landscaping under control. They also recently took on a storm water project for our property required by the County. The professionalism, knowledge, expertise and customer service has been top notch. In fact, I also hired them to work with my rental house! The crews they send out are equally professional, knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend!

We have had Brandon Rushing Lawn and Garden Care for almost four years and I’m always pleased after they’ve done work in my yard. Yesterday they did a leaf cleanup/mulching and did another great job. Very thorough, especially considering how many leaves there were to clean up.

We hired Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care about 6 and a half years ago to do the yard work and snow removal at my parents' home. Their work was excellent, any (rare) issues addressed promptly, communication was strong. Every employee or manager was friendly, professional, and accommodating. When they did periodic "walk arounds" of the yard with me and my dad, the managers were attentive not just to his requests; they fully listened to his stories and always kept a careful eye on him, standing near him - especially on the slopes - in case he should lose his balance. They treated him like they would treat a beloved and respected elder in their own families.

Quality of work and interactions were terrific. Thank you to all the team members, including the office staff!

Impeccable service. After the recent freezing weather and snow, Louis and Jose did a wonderful job cleaning up the yard. They removed branches twigs and leaves and trimmed up a few plants to get them ready for spring. They were professional, efficient, and left the yard looking great.

As a Retired Army Vet., just moving into my home, I decided to try a landscaping company, that one of the neighbors recommended, but I had to get rid of them, months later! The main reason for that termination, was that they did not bag up the grass, as expected and they were cutting my grass at irregular intervals and some times 3 weeks or more before I would see them again. Needless to say, I wasn't going to try another landscaping company again; until my wife read about Independence Landscape. We looked into them more thoroughly and was impressed about what we read. Needless to say, it was a call that I never regretted! The first impression was that of the office staff! They were kind and professional about handling my request, and within a day or two I received a call from Chris, who came out to my house the same day! Chris, made an assessment of my property, took measurements, and most of all he sit down with me to go over my landscaping needs, making me feel like part of his team, by including me in a two-way decision making effort, in getting the best services for my yard! When Chris's team arrived a couple of days later, I was very impress! They let me know that they were on site from Independence, and walk with me around the property, to get a feel of the property layout. Afterwards they immediately jumped into action and did their job; in cutting, trimming, and bagging my grass. they took extra care in not to damage our flowers in their efforts. when blowing the grass, to take up, they had gotten some loose grass on my car, and before I knew it, they were wiping it off! What Landscaping company would do that? In fact the cutting team would not leave until I walked the property with them, to give my approval of a job well done!!! Thank you Independence Landscape! The price was affordable, quality was outstanding, and the entire team were and are Professionals one and all! Keep up the Great work, that you do! I look forward to our long relationship!

I must say at the outset that I do VERY few of these reviews. I may have done three in the past 10 years, but that could be an exaggeration.

I must also say that I have VERY high standards for excellence. (See also above for cause and effect.)

I am doing one at this time for Independence Landscape and Lawn Care because they recently exceeded my expectations. I started using them years ago to take care of my lawn, and progressed to having them do pest and disease management for all of my trees and shrubbery.

More recently, I had them do a spring face lift of my yards, front and back. Before their work, neither yard was visible thanks to the weeds, vines, fallen leaves, and miscellaneous invasive who-knows-what that had found a home in the landscaping rocks. The backyard now looks as if it had been newly landscaped, and the front is so beautiful no one any longer thinks the property has been abandoned.

It’s also important to note that Independence Landscape is exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. Whether I am requesting a quote for new work or simply have a question, my rep Brandon always returns my call quickly.
For all of the above reasons, I am giving them a 5-star rating. I would recommend you talk to Independence Landscape and Lawn Care any time you are considering landscaping or maintenance work.

Everything I've experienced with Independence Landscape has been nothing less than exceptional; their customer experience is probably the best in the industry. The are professional, offer great value and are very responsive. We couldn't be happier with the landscape work they've done for us. Their weekly lawn maintenance services is phenomenal and reliable. I worked with Allen and he is a fantastic asset to the company as he has welcoming customer relations and is a pleasure to work with and has great project management skills; Independence Landscapes is a better business because of Allen.

I worked with Brandon and his team did an awesome job. Our backyard was in really rough shape after we got trees pulled. Independence Landscaping came out, cleaned the area, ground down the slope, and laid down the sod. Feels great to have a functional backyard! Definitely recommend.

We've been using Independence Landscape for our lawn treatments for two years now. We also had them do spring cleanup the first year as well. They assign a service quality manager to their accounts. Ours is Allen Safrit. We met Allen initially for the estimate and have found him to be knowledgeable, professional, responsive and proactive.

Independence is a bit higher in price compared to the company we had been using, but, like the saying goes... you get what you pay for. Their treatment plan works great. I had been doing the fertilizing, spraying, etc. for many years and our lawn looked great. But a few years back I thought I would save some time and as the cost was going to be similar we went with another company that initially worked out well. And then we came upon Independence. They were in our neighborhood and we thought we would give them a try. We are so glad we did. Their approach and treatment plan works great. So great that some of our neighbors have asked us who we use.

We can't say enough about Allen. He really makes the difference. It's nice to be able to speak with someone who knows us and our property. In fact, we are considering going with their tree and shrub program next season.

We started working with Independence Landscape this year after using another company for over 22 years. Our yard looks better than it ever has, but even more important to me have been the people I have dealt with at Independence. The team is responsive and helpful, and our experience with the entire crew at Independence has been the best customer service we have received from any company we have worked with on our home. I highly recommend Independence Landscape to all of my neighbors.

We have used Independence Landscaping for several years. They are very nice but my yard has stayed average looking for the price. The staff never addressed our concerns. Very little communication from them. Some spots look better than others but we have changed lawn services.

Independence Landscape is a top notch company! Our church wanted to landscape the front to create an inviting and welcoming walkway up to the sanctuary entrance. The landscape architects listened carefully to our vision which they then interpreted into a place of beauty and function, incorporating a large number of native plants in to the design as we requested. Every person who worked on our property was thoughtful, courteous and diligent. They often went above and beyond to make improvements. Specific requests we made were met with a smile. No shortcuts were taken. Our expectations were exceeded when the work was complete and the congregation responded with praises. We are so proud of our new entrance and are enjoying the results while also supporting the environment. We will be using Independence again for future landscape work.

Independence has done so much for us - from routine mowing and trimming to a complete revamp of our front landscaping, including the design and installation of a gorgeous stone paver walkway and landscape lighting. Our yard is beautiful because they take such great care in everything they do. We would trust no one else. And Mark is so great to work with!

We are just finishing up our first year with Independence and the results have been fantastic. We've tried other lawn care companies in the past and Independence has been by far the best. Chris Oliver is always very responsive and reliable. Thank you again for a great first year!

Independence Landscaping did an outstanding job. I would definitely use them again. Brandon, the Account Manager was great. He was very professional. Brandon always responded to my questions in a very timely manner. Connor did a beautiful landscape design. The landscaping crew did a wonderful job.

Independence does excellent work. I’ve used them at my home for regular lawn care, all natural mosquito/tick spray, and other landscaping jobs, and I highly appreciate their excellent work, clear and timely communication, and attention to detail.
