The technician, Adriel was an absolute pleasure to work with. I appreciate his warm and friendly disposition. He was professional, respectful, and most importantly, honest with me concerning my issue. I would highly recommend contacting Adriel for your HVAC needs

Shaylon was asked to come and give a quote for plumbing work. When he showed up he was super professional, extremely nice and personable. He looked at what we needed done, came up with a plan and presented it to us. Because it was already so late we scheduled with him to come back the next day to do the work. Very nice young man.
Update. Shaylon came back the next day and did an epic job fixing my issue. He is so professional and such a wonderful person. -
Barry and Chris came to continue the great work done by Joseph last week. I'm finally feeling confident that my HVAC won't cost me bajillions of dollars next month. What a relief. Really great and communicative staff at this place.

Victor was extremely helpful when our furnace stopped working. He was professional, thoughtful, informative, and answered all of our questions. We felt reassured that we were getting expert advice about our HVAC options.

I normally don't write reviews but for this guy i had to write something. His Name is Byron Lucas, he did an amazing job from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, gave me a fair price, and kept me informed during the entire repair.
If you ever need reliable, knowledgeable plumber who stand by his work — I highly recommend Byron Lucas from FH Furr. -
Chris did an amazing job! We can’t thank him enough for the quick work, great communication, and sacrificing his time on a Sunday to help us deal with our basement flood. He deserves 10 stars!

Daniel from FH Furr came by this morning to do a furnace inspection for me. He is an excellent representative of your company. He spent time inspecting my furnace, while telling me what he was doing and explaining parts to me. Fortunately, my furnace is in really good shape so there wasn’t any immediate problems that he had to deal with. He was kind enough to explain various options if I wanted to do any further work on the furnace, as well as what the pricing would be. He was very knowledgeable, explained things well, and was very respectful in dealing with an old man.

I had a very disappointing experience with FH Furr.
When I scheduled my hot water heater replacement, I specifically asked that the
technician arrive with a replacement tank on the truck so the job could be completed
quickly. I even provided the available height. FH Furr told me to postpone the appointment
to Monday so the technician would be fully prepared.
On the morning of the appointment, I confirmed the 8–9 a.m. arrival window within
seconds of receiving the confirmation text. No one showed up. After multiple follow-ups, I
was eventually told that their automated system had canceled my appointment by
mistake.
The technician finally arrived about 2.5 hours late and then told me he did not have a
replacement tank and would need to go pick one up—exactly what I was told would not
happen if I delayed to Monday. This turned a roughly 2-hour job into an estimated 4-hour
repair.
I was then quoted $3,200 for a standard 40-gallon gas water heater replacement, which is
far higher than typical market pricing. After days without hot water and hours of waiting, I
felt pressured to proceed.
For all of this inconvenience, FH Furr offered a $100 coupon that anyone can get online.
Communication was poor, accountability was lacking, and it was extremely difficult to
speak with a manager.
FH Furr promotes itself as a family-owned local business, but the experience felt like
dealing with a large company driven by automated systems that fail customers. I
recommend looking elsewhere. -
They were very friendly and were apologetic throughout this situation. So that was good. I had originally called on a Sunday for a busted water heater and they came out quickly to assess the issue.
The next day they were supposed to show up at 11, didn’t show up until closer to 3, and then they disconnected everything only to find out they brought the wrong water heater. They said they would be there at 8 am on Tuesday -first thing - because of the mistake. They arrived at 11ish. The job was supposed to take 2-3 hours. Was closer to 5 hours.
The timing and the work left something to be desired. They broke a drain pipe from my upstairs AC unit and subsequently had to rip out drywall to fix it that has still not been replaced. The drip pan is not aligned with the drain pipe in the closet where the water heater and upstairs AC drain, the new water heater is dented, and they just left the site overall messy… even left some tools behind.
I’ve dealt with the company before and had good experiences. Maybe just an off day. But wasn’t the best experience this time around. -
If I could give zero stars, I would.
I am writing this review to warn potential customers about FH Furr's unacceptable business practices. My husband and I upgrqaded our HVAC system to mini splits in July. We awaited inspection for months (still waiting!) which have not happened because FH Furr lost their license in DC due to unpaid fines. Because of this delay, we were not able to take advantage of the DC tax credit on renewables for $1500. We continuously called FHFurr to find a way around this, and TWO of the managers offered to credit us $1500 due to their inability to receive a license and get our HVAC inspected.
Clear Promise, Zero Action: These conversations with the managers started in September, and to this day, they have not credited our account. On November 11th, I had a follow-up call where one of the two managers explicitly stated they were authorizing the $1500 payment immediately and assured me it would be processed within one week.
Operating in Bad Faith: It has now been three weeks since that promise, and the credit has not been applied. The continued inaction, failure to process a promised payment, lack of follow-through, and no ability to get our HVAC inspected have led me to the undeniable conclusion that FH Furr is operating in bad faith.
This company has shown a complete disregard for honoring its clear financial commitments to its customers. If you are considering FH Furr, be aware that their promises—even those regarding large, documented financial resolutions—may be completely empty.
I strongly advise caution and suggest looking elsewhere for reliable service. Do not trust them with your business or your money. -
This was for a propane hot water tank replacement, a water main valve replacement, and a whole home carbon water filter. A rep contacted me immediately to schedule a free home estimate. Marcus Nearman the plumber arrived on time at the conveniently appointed time, he accurately assessed the situation, gave me several options and recommendations at various price points, he prepared several quotes for me to review, explained the pros and cons of each, and he didn't pressure me on the decision. He came out the next day and completed the work quickly, cleanly, and up to code. The end result looks immaculate. He answered all my questions along the way and gave me some pointers to save maintenance costs in the long run. I was so pleased with the service and professionalism of this company and its staff that I joined the partner program to save 15% on future jobs. Thanks F.H. Furr!

They scheduled the annual "service" that I pay for but all he did was basically observe. The previous 2 years they actually did the annual service, this time he came, spent 20 minutes taking pics and temps and showed me what he recommends, but then told me they dont actually "service" it. Mind you, its the system they installed 3 years ago. I also have a humidifier and during the past annual services, they change the filter. All he said this time was, "It looks good." No filter change.

Diego is an outstanding professional who goes beyond the standard service. He helped explaining the heating and air conditioning challenges we home owners face. He stressed more on preventative measures that homeowners should be adhering to safe guard the long term integrity of our heating & air conditioning units.

5 stars for the technician and 1 star for the company.
Ali Tekmaji did an outstanding job troubleshooting and fixing an issue with our system humidifier. He was professional, competent, and extremely thorough. He took the time to explain what was going on, methodically worked through the problem, and made sure everything was operating correctly before he left. Based on the technician alone, I would absolutely recommend FH Furr.
Unfortunately, FH Furr’s scheduling and customer interface were very frustrating. We experienced two back-to-back late cancellations, and the company is consistently unclear about technician arrival windows. Even on the day Ali came out, I was given an inaccurate arrival window and had to call after it expired to find out what was going on—communication should have come from FH Furr, not the customer chasing them down.
The technicians are excellent, but the company’s scheduling and time management process is poor and needs serious improvement. If FH Furr can fix how they communicate and manage appointment windows, the overall experience would match the quality of their technicians. -
Contacted F.H. Furr for an emergency HVAC service/consultation due to Heating System failure. Dylan B. was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable, very attentive to our needs and timing, and provided competitive pricing options for quality equipment. He was truly a pleasure to work with and he got us scheduled next day!
For future HVAC needs I’ll definitely be using F.H. Furr and requesting Dylan! -
Kirill and his teammate did excellent service for us. They installed a new combi boiler last week before the cold snap and the process was seamless. The boiler was operational, has worked well, and they followed up today with a new valve as we had an old one that needed to be replaced and installed a new thermostat. They left the place clean and were courteous and thoughtful. They are fantastic representatives for your company. Very skilled and knowledgeable.

Melquan Rutledge was very nice. He had a pleasant personality and explained things very well. I have absolutely no problem with his work. Having said that, I have much to say about the company which is no reflection on Mel. He has to follow the policies of the company. The estimate to repair was $2500.
Absurd. The main reason it’s highway robbery is because I’m to forced to pay for the wickedly overpriced parts. Unfortunately for the consumer, the plumbing industry has the same policy across the board of never using new parts bought and supplied by the customer. The parts are generally 3x the real cost that a regular customer can buy. My opinion this is criminal.
Of course the industry tells everyone the reason is they cannot warranty the work if they don’t “get” the parts themselves. And because companies probably get major discounts, parts may end up 4 times the actual cost of the part.
Now let’s talk about the price quoted for replacement. A range of $4300 to $5500.
Outrageous! I immediately called a different company who actually installed the water heater 7 years ago and they quoted me a total replacement price (parts and labor) of $3200.
So now I know why you don’t charge for the initial service call. You’ve obviously build that and a lot extra into the repair/replacement cost. So I was going to have the other company do it for 3200 but I found an independent contractor who can do the work and only charge me $800 labor cost. I will buy the unit and expansion tank and installation kit. By the way, the gas water heater will cost me $950. So I’ll spend $1800 for a 50 gal unit with a 12 year warranty installed.
Sorry F.H. Furr but you do not get my business.
Thank you for opening my eyes to what this Industry does to US, the consumer and you didn’t charge me for the education. I wasn’t going to give feedback but you keep insisting so you got it. -
Bryan was professional from start to finish. He took the time to walk us through everything, explained what was going on clearly, and helped us realize that the issue was actually something we had done on our end. He was patient, knowledgeable, and never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable asking questions. We really appreciated his honesty and willingness to help, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing service.

R. McClure from FH Furr was very kind, professional and knowledgeable. After evaluating and working on my heating system issue, he took his time to show me the problems with my heating system. He explained the issues with my heating system in a detail way that I understood the issues with my heating system. Mr. McClure explained and gave me options needed to resolve my heating system problem in the future.

So far so good!
Victor Murray, our Service guy, was awesome. He was polite, prompt and very good with communication. The company even has a system where they text and email you their ETA so you will know when they will arrive.
He explained the issues with our HVAC system, and what needed to be replaced, in a simplistic way that both my wife and I understood.
The price is seemingly a little higher than average, but you receive premium service.
I'll update the review after the repairs are complete. -
Had a very good experience with F.H. Furr. Needed an expedited hot water furnace move and replace around some basement work and F.H. Furr had a very qualified plumber, Chris, head over that same day to remove the hot water heater. Chris was very straightforward and knowledgeable and scheduled me for a follow up to reinstall a new water heater once the basement work was finished. The higher price point of F.H. Furr compared to smaller companies was worth it to me for the service, warranty, and expertise that Chris brought to the job. I'm very pleased having given F.H. Furr my business.
